Great little neighborhood bar and grill! We stopped in after a movie and had the pizza special, so good! Really good value with wings and salads....and there are so many TVs!!! And our waitress was killing it, she was so busy but kept up with everyone's drinks and brought the food out hot! Check it out!

Finally started to use our 2025 Pizza Passport!! Stop #2 was an area favorite Schottzies!! It was the 1st Friday of Lent so we didn't know if we were going to get a seat here or anywhere!!! We lucked out and got a table as well as hit Happy Hour!!! We got an order of Fried Clams.. you don't see this on many menus and they were Hot and Crispy ad we devoured them!! The House Salad with House Ranch was yummy! Drinks were good and needed!!! We tried the Hand-Tossed style pizza this time and were very disappointed. There was just to much cheese on it (I know some people like a lot of cheese) you couldn't taste the Pepperoni or Mushrooms!!! Plus we just didn't like this style. We will stick with the Thin Crust!! Lesson Learned Our server was very nice and attentive!! Bar ambience!!

Went back again for lunch and got another lunch special. Their open face roast beef with mashed potatoes and gravy HIT THE SPOT!! Costs are so reasonable and service is always great. The menu seems to have something for everyone too!

This was made by a new cook who went overboard on the mozz.

A little overwhelming amount of mozzarella. No other pizza on other tables looked like this. They offered a replacement, but we were already filled. Great crust however

This place rivals some of the best pizza you can find in St. Louis!! Hockey legend Wayne Gretzky himself said it's his favorite pizza! This joint in South County is one of the best spots in all of St. Louis to get a nice pizza pie, or one of the best bar menus to eat and drink while watching a sporting event. This place gets busy, so plan ahead. The service is pretty attentive for the most part, and just be prepared to wait if there's a lot of pizza orders in. But the pizza is worth the wait. Their Schottzie's deluxe pizza is piled high with lots of toppings (No olives for us). Get it extra crispy! The sauce is a nice sweet sauce, and the pizzas are always cooked to perfection. The house salad is great and it comes with a pretzel! We get ranch but their house dressing is good too. We love coming here because it's always fresh. Whether you come in the afternoon, dinner, or late at night, they always take care of you. The owners are often present and popping around to talk. Two entrances to the restaurant by the way, one off Lindbergh and one on the side road.

A classic dive bar atmosphere with some of the nicest servers on the planet. I pulled up at the bar and was immediately greeted by a very nice and engaging bartender. Andrew Zimmerman featured this spot on Bizarre Foods America for its pork brain sandwich. Yeah, I didn't partake in that particular fare. However, I had their lunch pizza special and the pizza was fantastic. St. Louis style with thin crust cut into squares. I had several toppings and the provel cheese is a must. It also came with a basic side salad. Received my order super fast for how crowded it was. Family friendly, at least during the lunch hour. I will definitely add this to the StL lunch rotation!

First time here and definitely was pleased with my choice. The place has a nice large bar area with ample seating , plenty of table seating , daily lunch specials and a varied menu. The house salad with the house dressing was great , the dressing is a creamy Parmesan and it's the best. The pizza is a thin crust with a semi sweet sauce ( my favorite) and the toppings were plentiful I especially like the sautéed onions that were one of the toppings and the cheese was very prominent too. Service was friendly and efficient and it seems they have a lot of regular patrons which is a good indicator of business.

Great bar! They have good lunch specials for about $9.50. For today's lunch, I chose the Grilled Chicken Salad. I did ask them to substitute the iceberg lettuce to green leaf lettuce. The salad was huge, and had a whole marinated chicken breast on it, with egg, onions, tomatoes, cheese, and black olives. I barely finished it. It also came with a warm pretzel. I chose their house dressing, a creamy parmesan dressing. Salad was great, pretzel, not so much. It became like a rock within a couple of minutes, and was unedible. The staff behind the bar is great.

Schotzies is definitely a hole in the wall gem that gives off a sports bar! If you're wanting some bar food plus a bit more then this place is for you. Our waitress was tentative to us & was amazing to make sure our drinks were constantly filled & continuously checked on us. The appetizer list is endless! They have amazing burgers & some main entrees also if you're not feeling the bar food. I got the Schotz Tots smothered generously with chili & cheese & also the 9" pizza which was amazing!! My husband did the Denali burger & he said it was also delicious. If you have tried Schotzies in south county then you're missing out!

One of the only places left that serves brain sandwiches. Pizza is very good. It is Wayne Gretzky's favorite pizza in St Louis.

I could get vegan eggs and vegan bacon, and my friends could get their chicken eggs and turkey bacon. My favorites here were the vegan milkshakes, pancakes, vegan bacon, brussels sprouts, and the shrimp po'boy. Unfortunately, I'm speaking of them in past tense because as of tonight, 09May, they have permanently closed. My family and I were some of the very last customers. They were out of all my favorites, so it was extra sad for me. I ended up trying the tacos for the first time. They were cool. But I'm surely going miss my favorites! The owners also own Frida's and Diego's, off Delmar and North & South. I personally don't care for the food at either one, but rumor has it, they might bring some of the Station No 3 favs over to one of these restaurants (which are right next door to each other).

They also seem to have a full bar. There was a Wednesday happy hour when we were there $9 old fashioned and potato skins. All and all it was pretty good but I would have liked to see some healthier options that weren't salad, like more fresh veggies in dishes.

It turns out we've been driving past a Kirkwood treasure all this time. This is "upscale-casual" at its finest--professional and refined, but with a neighborhood heart. Service & Logistics The service here is exceptionally polished. From the friendly hosts to our knowledgeable server, everything ran like clockwork. We even had a visit from a gentleman I presume was the owner (likely Bob, who has been at the helm for decades). He didn't just "check-in"--he saw we needed a few items and personally took care of it. Pro Tips: * Reservations: Don't look for them on OpenTable. They use their own dedicated form on their website, which is simple and efficient. * Wednesday Wine: If you can, visit on a Wednesday. They offer half-priced wine bottles with your meal--a fantastic value for their extensive collection. Cocktails & Drinks The bar program here is excellent, and the bartender was friendly and engaging. * White Negroni (4.5/5): Though they may not have had Suze (the drink wasn't perfectly clear), the bartender absolutely nailed the flavor profile and balance. * Barrel-Finished Manhattan (4.5/5): Their use of an in-house barrel finish makes this classically executed cocktail a real standout--highly recommended for whiskey lovers. * Wine: They have an awesome selection. Definitely ask your server for recommendations! The Food: American Fare with a Global Twist * House Salad (4.5/5): You have to try their house dressing--it's a creamy garlic style that reminds me of the classic Mayfair Hotel dressing. It's incredibly tasty and a true St. Louis staple. * Blackened Grouper (4.5/5): As someone who loves Florida grouper, this hit the mark. Lightly blackened with a fresh mango salsa; vibrant and perfectly executed. * Rainbow Trout (4.25/5): The orange tarragon cream sauce is the star. It was perfectly balanced--enough to enhance the fish and rice without being "soupy." * Pilot House Chicken (4.5/5): A delicious, well-seasoned chicken breast. Savory, juicy, and very well-prepared. * Extras (5/5): They start you with lavash crackers and butter, and the hot, fresh rolls are dangerous. They even finish the night with powdered sugar cookies--a classic Sunset 44 touch. Dessert * S'more Cheesecake & Chocolate Martini (4.5/5): We opted for this beautifully executed, unique dessert. It was yummy on its own, but ordering a Chocolate Martini to accompany it was the perfect move. The Vibe: It definitely skews toward a more mature, quiet crowd. It's the perfect place if you actually want to hear the people you're dining with.
