Great little neighborhood bar and grill! We stopped in after a movie and had the pizza special, so good! Really good value with wings and salads....and there are so many TVs!!! And our waitress was killing it, she was so busy but kept up with everyone's drinks and brought the food out hot! Check it out!

Finally started to use our 2025 Pizza Passport!! Stop #2 was an area favorite Schottzies!! It was the 1st Friday of Lent so we didn't know if we were going to get a seat here or anywhere!!! We lucked out and got a table as well as hit Happy Hour!!! We got an order of Fried Clams.. you don't see this on many menus and they were Hot and Crispy ad we devoured them!! The House Salad with House Ranch was yummy! Drinks were good and needed!!! We tried the Hand-Tossed style pizza this time and were very disappointed. There was just to much cheese on it (I know some people like a lot of cheese) you couldn't taste the Pepperoni or Mushrooms!!! Plus we just didn't like this style. We will stick with the Thin Crust!! Lesson Learned Our server was very nice and attentive!! Bar ambience!!

Went back again for lunch and got another lunch special. Their open face roast beef with mashed potatoes and gravy HIT THE SPOT!! Costs are so reasonable and service is always great. The menu seems to have something for everyone too!

This was made by a new cook who went overboard on the mozz.

A little overwhelming amount of mozzarella. No other pizza on other tables looked like this. They offered a replacement, but we were already filled. Great crust however

This place rivals some of the best pizza you can find in St. Louis!! Hockey legend Wayne Gretzky himself said it's his favorite pizza! This joint in South County is one of the best spots in all of St. Louis to get a nice pizza pie, or one of the best bar menus to eat and drink while watching a sporting event. This place gets busy, so plan ahead. The service is pretty attentive for the most part, and just be prepared to wait if there's a lot of pizza orders in. But the pizza is worth the wait. Their Schottzie's deluxe pizza is piled high with lots of toppings (No olives for us). Get it extra crispy! The sauce is a nice sweet sauce, and the pizzas are always cooked to perfection. The house salad is great and it comes with a pretzel! We get ranch but their house dressing is good too. We love coming here because it's always fresh. Whether you come in the afternoon, dinner, or late at night, they always take care of you. The owners are often present and popping around to talk. Two entrances to the restaurant by the way, one off Lindbergh and one on the side road.

A classic dive bar atmosphere with some of the nicest servers on the planet. I pulled up at the bar and was immediately greeted by a very nice and engaging bartender. Andrew Zimmerman featured this spot on Bizarre Foods America for its pork brain sandwich. Yeah, I didn't partake in that particular fare. However, I had their lunch pizza special and the pizza was fantastic. St. Louis style with thin crust cut into squares. I had several toppings and the provel cheese is a must. It also came with a basic side salad. Received my order super fast for how crowded it was. Family friendly, at least during the lunch hour. I will definitely add this to the StL lunch rotation!

First time here and definitely was pleased with my choice. The place has a nice large bar area with ample seating , plenty of table seating , daily lunch specials and a varied menu. The house salad with the house dressing was great , the dressing is a creamy Parmesan and it's the best. The pizza is a thin crust with a semi sweet sauce ( my favorite) and the toppings were plentiful I especially like the sautéed onions that were one of the toppings and the cheese was very prominent too. Service was friendly and efficient and it seems they have a lot of regular patrons which is a good indicator of business.

Great bar! They have good lunch specials for about $9.50. For today's lunch, I chose the Grilled Chicken Salad. I did ask them to substitute the iceberg lettuce to green leaf lettuce. The salad was huge, and had a whole marinated chicken breast on it, with egg, onions, tomatoes, cheese, and black olives. I barely finished it. It also came with a warm pretzel. I chose their house dressing, a creamy parmesan dressing. Salad was great, pretzel, not so much. It became like a rock within a couple of minutes, and was unedible. The staff behind the bar is great.

Schotzies is definitely a hole in the wall gem that gives off a sports bar! If you're wanting some bar food plus a bit more then this place is for you. Our waitress was tentative to us & was amazing to make sure our drinks were constantly filled & continuously checked on us. The appetizer list is endless! They have amazing burgers & some main entrees also if you're not feeling the bar food. I got the Schotz Tots smothered generously with chili & cheese & also the 9" pizza which was amazing!! My husband did the Denali burger & he said it was also delicious. If you have tried Schotzies in south county then you're missing out!

The pork sausage was seasoned well and ground up so that it spread well in every bite. The pepperoncini and bacon filled out the flavor. It was really tasty. I got the Tamno Pivo beer to drink. The salad came out first and was very good, fresh and not overloaded with dressing. Good size to split with someone as a side, or as a meal on its own. The pizza came out soon after and was hot from the oven with a great crust! Perfect with some added red pepper flake and parm! We layout of the place is simple, with a self server area for water, plastic wear and napkins, you also clean up your own table when you are done. I did feel a bit misled when we were ordering beer, as my wife wanted a dark beer and they didn't have anything on draft. After talking with the people working there for a bit, they remembered that they had some Hazel Ave, which is a dark beer. They asked if she liked coconut, as it has that flavor in it. She does and was happy to hear they had something that would work for her. They rang us up and then asked if we wanted 2 glasses, which I thought was odd, since I had ordered a different beer. Then I saw the other person opening a 750 mo bottle and realized that the Hazel Ave is the size of a full bottle of wine. It's also $40 which was an unpleasant surprise, and I only learned after it had been rung up and opened. About that time, they realized that my beer hadn't been rung in and asked if I wanted it still. Having just spent more on the beer than our food, I declined. It's a very dark been that also has a strong hazel it flavor, which we didn't know (and she doesn't like). Live and learn I guess, but not a great first visit. Food was good enough that we might try it again, but will be very careful/skip ordering drinks if we come back!

It arrived pretty close to on time (they gave me a link to an app and told me the delivery time), pizza was still steaming and dessert was still warm. I ordered a hand tossed cheese pizza with ham. It was very good, not overcooked, not undercooked and definitely not burned which in the past 3-4 years more than half of my delivered pizzas showed up with burnt crust or cheese. The cinnamon sticks were very good, but I don't see how one could mess them up, cook the dough, cover with cinnamon sugar and pour on icing. The price was pretty much as expected, so many delivery places have a service charge, a delivery charge, and ask for a tip. Honestly I can't figure out how the money is divided up, eating in I tip the server and they give the bus team something, the bar tender, and the kitchen staff do they get anything? In delivery the only people are the driver, the person that boxes the order, and the kitchen staff. So if the service charge stays in house am I paying $1.50 to put the pizza in a box? The delivery fee is stand alone so who gets the tip? I asked this of one of the many pizza apps and they never did flat out tell me how the money works. Anyway, the pizza was timely, hot, good sauce and meat, not cut into squares (haha an StL thing) and the dessert was very good. Again I had the hand tossed, not the thin crust. They used a delivery service to have it dropped off.
