Steak, Brown Rice, Broccoli & Teriyaki Sauce
    Andres C.

So, I stumbled across this healthy food restaurant while I was driving through the neighborhood. I was looking for good quality food and I've been to other "healthy" restaurants so I decided to give this one a shot. First, the restaurant is not that big at all in size but do not let that discourage you whatsoever! It's just right for a quick sitdown during the day and the free Wifi (ask the cashier for the password) plus the USB/Power outlets available make it a perfect place to grab some food and get some work done. Also, I must mention that the place is extremely clean and well kept. The bathroom is also pristine! Now, for the food. They offer numerous options from wraps, protein shakes, and plates. Everything is health conscious and the menu is very detailed. I opted for the teriyaki steak with brown rice and broccoli. I dined in and they brought the food on an actual porcelain plate and stainless steel utensils. Their attention to detail and service is great. The food tasted delicious and it was exactly the type of plate I was craving for lunch. The steak was tender and the teriyaki sauce was the perfect touch. Needless to say I left the plate clean. The only downside I would say is the pricing if you're on a budget. It's not too expensive in my opinion for the quality of food but it will be an issue if you're on a budget. Typically these type of restaurants are a bit on the pricier side but healthy food is always more expensive. Nonetheless, I will be returning to this restaurant because I enjoyed my experience, the food, and there were other plates I would love to try!

    Mediterranean salad with salmon

This place is tinny restaurant. But the foods are so delicious.I had soup of the day . Beans soup . Mediterranean salad with grilled salmon . It's so fresh. Healthy and yummy .

It's my fav place to order from but I was in the area and thought to go inside , really cute place , wry small , it's not a place for groups . The food is very good , fresh , clean , you can see that the place is so clean . Really healthy , exactly what I love ! We've ordered the soup of the day which was excellent, the shrimps , pesto pasta and salads . Everything was extraordinary. The only thing that bothers me and that why u won't be giving 5 stars is the waiting time .. we waited for almost 30 min even more for our food and the place was empty . Great food though , will def go back again !

    Tropical Bowl

This place was great! My boyfriend and I were looking for a place with açaí bowls and landed on this one! The food was great and the service as well. They were very friendly. Definitely recommend :)

Been on a huge salad kick lately and stumbled upon this place in Glendale in search of a delicious salad. NTK definitely fulfilled my cravings. I ordered a salad with Mixed greens, shrimp, avocado, tomatoes, carrots, and honey lemon dressing. The salad was great and the shrimp was very well cooked. The portion size for the salad was also pretty big as I wasn't able to finish it all in one sitting. The only downside to this place would have to be the wait. I waited nearly 30 minutes for my food. If you're looking for a good salad and have some time to spare, check this place out

I paid over $20 for this salad. Couldn't even fill the bowl.

Do not order from this place. All I wanted was a healthy salad and made the attempt to try this place and it was the most disappointing order and salad I've ever seen in my life. Not only are they charging double (over $20) for the smallest salad in the world that doesn't even fill up the container, they don't follow cooking instructions. The steak on the salad was uncooked Inside (rare) and the steak look down right disgusting.

Crepe like pancakes and sweet potato fries instead of regular home fries

Love their Nutella Acai bowls but they should change the bowl containers since it's a bit difficult to open.

I really enjoyed lunch at this place! They've recently rebranded to Austin Street Cafe/Bar & Grill…read more- and they have a sort of diner-esque vibe with a full-service bar ($7 happy hour cocktails!!!) They started us off with a croissant on the house, which was pretty good. Nice attention to detail as it was served with a heart-shaped side of butter. Also part of their happy hour menu are a couple select bar bites. I went for the chicken quesadillas, and it was a hearty portion at their price point. And it had a great flavor - chicken was nice and juicy. Natalie was our server, and was very attentive and friendly throughout our time here. And just when we thought it couldn't get better, Natalie and the manager brought us some cookies on the house to take home. Nothing but praise to be sung about this spot - I hear they're looking into possibly incorporating live music next. Will definitely be back - two thumbs up!

I heard him making jokes with customers and asking people for feedback. Now to the rest of it: service is weird and slow. When we were seated, we had to wait a little bit until receiving menus. Water wasn't automatically given to us also, so you have to ask. A woman took down our order, but later asked if we got waffles, even though I said pancakes - overall took 25 minutes to get our order of a salad and pancakes. Pancake platter came with two pancakes, two eggs, and a couple berries on the side. There's also an option to add sausage or bacon but no price there, which adds to the confusion. When we pointed it out, they removed the charge from our bill. There were maybe 3 people who stood behind the coffee bar which is kind of around a corner, making it hard to get service if you're not in their field of vision. Kind of strange there isn't a clear welcoming desk or something like that. Also, I think the menu uses AI as photos - there's a picture of a burger with fries and chips, but I don't think they serve chips. There's also a picture of cake with garlic next to it, which could be an artistic choice. We didn't get any drinks, but there was a table next to us who abandoned their full cups of Nutella lattes which was interesting.

This is probably my 4th or 5th visit and each visit has us ordering the Branzino, that should tell you something. Also note, I'm not a 'fish person', and I can't get enough of this Branzino. In addition to the AMAZING BRANZINO, we enjoyed steak frites, oxtail croquettes, fried calamari and a Boston wedge salad. Everything was amazing and delicious. The calamari has a sweet honey sauce drizzled on it. The salad was fresh and crisp, delicious dressing and crispy bacon included. We were very full but there's always room for dessert. The Food The cooking…read morehere is the real thing -- not the flattened, one-note version of Indian food that so many places settle for, where everything arrives tasting vaguely of the same sauce. At Tikka n' Talk, the spicing has genuine architecture. Each dish has its own personality, its own balance, its own arc from first bite to last. You taste individual spices rather than a generic wall of heat, and there's a depth underneath that only comes from someone who actually knows what they're doing. The tikka is outstanding and lives up to the name -- properly charred at the edges, smoky from real high-heat cooking, and still tender inside. That combination is harder to pull off than it looks, and getting it right every time takes skill. The curries have body and complexity. Sauces that have clearly been built rather than assembled, with layers that reveal themselves as you eat. Nothing is greasy, nothing is heavy in the bad way, and nothing tastes like it came out of a can. The bread deserves its own mention. Fresh, blistered, warm -- the kind you keep tearing off pieces of long after you're full. The Room and the Service The name isn't accidental. This is a place designed for lingering, and the atmosphere delivers on it. Warm, comfortable, and genuinely welcoming without being fussy. It's the kind of room where conversation flows easily, where you settle in without noticing an hour has passed. The staff are a huge part of that. Warm, attentive without hovering, and clearly happy you came. They know the menu cold and will steer you well if you ask -- including on spice levels, which they'll actually calibrate to what you want rather than defaulting to whatever's easiest. That kind of care shows up everywhere in the experience. Food comes out hot, timed well, and exactly as ordered. Basic things, but plenty of places fail at them. The Bottom Line Tikka n' Talk is the rare restaurant that's excellent on every axis at once -- the cooking is skilled, the room is inviting, and the people running it obviously care. It's become a regular for us, and I recommend it without hesitation to anyone who asks where to eat. If you haven't been, go. Order more than you think you need. Stay a while -- the name is an instruction, and it's good advice. Highest possible recommendation.

I ordered the goat curry special which came with a side of dal, bread rice and a sweet kulab gaman for $17.
