What can I say that will convince you of their fabulousness? 1) They're very kind. I've only ever dealt with Douglas but he's very friendly and happy to explain everything and answer all my questions. (Contrast this with my dad, who for years did all my car repair but would grumble and complain about it every step of the way.) 2) They're very quick. I had an issue over the weekend with my starter and they had me tow the car there and had it fixed the same day! I was shocked, anticipating having to cancel appointments for a few days while waiting for the repairs to be completed. Sometimes I have had to leave the car overnight but only because they needed to order a part, and even then the part was sent overnight and the car fixed the very next day. (Contrast this with my stupid dealer who, when I went to a scheduled appt for a recall, didn't have the part they needed even though I'd scheduled the appt six weeks previously.) 3) They have an emergency road service contract (a la AAA) and you can use it anytime. Since I have AAA I haven't used it but I might next time I need to. They told me I can be reimbursed for the AAA tow through their contract. Sometimes hard to find on these places, they (the owner John and the employee Kayla, in this case) were kind and personable. Also, their knowledge and expertise in the field were great, but most importantly they were straight with me. As a woman, it's easy to get "spoken down" to in these types of places, or unknowingly overcharged. Thankfully, my father taught me very well. So, whenever I buy a car or get serviced, I do not express my knowledge; instead, I wait and see what THEY tell ME. It says a LOT about their service and how they value their customers. I want to see what they say if they think I know nothing; I want to know if they'll try to rip me off. I watched my father do this for years, and avoid poor service, and I've done the same; this is how I only get service from the best. And so I did- John was frank about his recommendations and never tried to upsell me on unnecessary services. Additionally, his prices were beyond fair - I definitely saved money by going to them. He actually printed out diagrams of the car parts to walk me through what was wrong and what he would fix; and what I should fix in future (what I DID NOT need to fix that day). This part was especially rare and very special. He also told me about cheaper options I could choose for parts if I was concerned for price, though I decided to go with the top quality. Above all, I appreciated their honesty and integrity throughout the entire process.
