I walked in to inquire about alterations, so I can't comment on the dry cleaning. I went mid-day and the person was not so interested in helping me, maybe because her boyfriend was there. The place advertised alterations in the window so I brought another pair of pants to change into once they pinned the pants in question. I had to play twenty questions to discover that: 1. They do not do on-site alterations (or pinning) 2. I have to just tell them how many inches I want my pants 3. The price varies depending on how much they are taking off Not only were they not interested in helping me, they don't even offer real services for what is advertised. Even though this place is right around the corner, I'll go find a real tailor, and I doubt I'll go there for dry cleaning except in a pinch. I just didn't feel welcome. read more

Great family-owned local business. The family that owns and operates the shop are unbelievably friendly and kind. You will always be greeted with a warm and welcoming smile and if you're a regular, they will know you by name and remember how you like your shirts. So I forgot summer shirts there and went to pick them up after 4 months to find the top of the linen shirts eaten up. 3 out of 6 had to be thrown away and I said I would keep the other 3 for dirty BBQ or something. 2 months later we found holes in cashmere sweaters and found that our brand new closet was now infected of moths! It then clicked that those shirts has carried it and spread into our closet. When I went there to explain, they told me to come back on a Saturday as it is the only day someone speaks English there. To end the story, If you don't like moth, I would refrain from going there!! read more

These guys are awesome. I wear suits for work and have been going to Nu-Way for years, they always have my clothes ready on time (sometimes earlier if you're in a rush) and their prices are great. I have probably used them 20-30 times, never once had an issue. Trust them with your best stuff. read more

Not sure if it's the new ownership, but I quite enjoy taking my clothes here for laundering. The woman who runs the place shows a lot of customer appreciation and has never been late or made an error on my dry cleaning. I have yet to try alterations. read more

Nu Way Cleaner is definitely not a dry cleaner I would recommend in Medford. They are overpriced, the quality is mediocre and they are very, very unprofessional. I had my wedding dress dry cleaned there. I dropped it off in early September and was told it would be ready by Thanksgiving. I stopped in after Thanksgiving and was told that the dress wasn't even started and to come back in two weeks. No apology, no nothing. I went back in twice more and nothing was done and there was no acknowledgment that someone was taking responsibility for the error or even seemed to care that by February, my dress had been there for 5 months. I finally called them to check in (a 4th time total) and they said that they could drop it off to me the following Monday. Monday came and went with no dress and no phone call. I called them on Friday and they were apologetic, but not terribly phased by the horrible service. The cost of dry cleaning the dress was the highest in town as well at $175. I will never go back to this dry cleaner and would advise anyone looking for a good dry cleaner in Medford, to avoid this dry cleaner at all costs. read more

Customer service at its best. I waited for the store to open on a Saturday morning this past September. I was crying and holding a dress my Daughter was going to wear to a family wedding. While trying to press it I singed the fabric. Grace not only repaired the dress she also hemmed it for me. All in time for our afternoon wedding. Thank you Grace again for getting me out of a mess. I have had great service from this establishment, under both the old and new management. They are prompt, responsive, very positive and courteous. One or two times when I was running late for pickup and really needed to get my shirts that day, I called ahead and they stayed open to help me out. I have no criticisms (unusual for me). read more

We brought a comforter and pillow shams to be dry cleaned. We were given a price that seemed a little high, but left it because the previous owners had done such a nice job before. When picking it up, surprised to be told that there would be an extra charge for the pillow shams, which they knew about when we dropped off. Then we brought it home to find everything wrinkled so badly they had to be ironed and steamed. A call to them and a call back from the owner offered no satisfaction. No chance that we would give these new owners any further business. read more

Excellent service n quality! The owner recently changed, so she obviously couldn't find old clothes that weren't in the store when the previous owner stored them. She is very nice and friendly. The quality is also excellent! You don't have to tell them that you have a stain because they remove it for you anyway. read more

Excellent dry cleaners. Their quality along with their service is superb. They know how to meet your deadlines; they can get your clothes cleaned on the same day if you make a request. Their alteration skills are unbelievable. The person in charge of the alteration can basically do anything that you ask. Now I am upset............I took 3 blouses to them, asked to have them laundered and medium starched....! I paid $7.00 each= $21.00........ I picked the blouses up.. no starch!.. Took them back, very smiley young lady said they would re- do them and deliver to where I was staying! They do not launder the clothes there....... She did deliver the 3 shirts, with her mother that night........... They still were not starched right!!! I was leaving the next day to leave the state.. I was sooo disappointed........ Well, I just took a white blouse out of the plastic garment bag to wear... UNBELIEVABLE............The blouse was new, worn once, then taken to have them launder it... the inside of the pockets were collected with grey stain and lint........
