I've been coming to Song's laundry for over 20 years... every 10 days... I use their laundry service...my clothes are always ready the next day. My clothes are clean and beautifully folded( even the fitted sheet)!!! Along with my clothes coming out beautifully, the staff are very friendly, and efficient! The place is always clean too!!! Omg I really can't believe what happened to me today at Song's home style laundry  in Medford  434 Salem st Medford MA 02155 I'm still overwhelmed today November 1 2021 the day I will never forget  I will take it to my grave I never been so humiliating like this I been to that laundromat before I never had any problems with the owner and the wife   today was my first time seeing the owner's son who was working in the shop at the moment so I had a problem with one of the washer machine I run to the owner & asked him  for help  the son decided to come and help me I explained to him the issue I was having he's respond was that I didn't close the machine properly and my black ass is too dump so used my brain I I swear the God I taught he was joking so I  responded to him that I been using this laundromat for 15years with a big smile on my face and he responded back very rudeness and said if you don't know how to used the machine don't come back here so at that point I realize he's was not joking  he probably think I wasn't understand him omg I was so angry I decided to record the conversation the mother came to me and apologizing for his son behavior I call Medford police and explained the situation they were so good to me if it's wasn't for Medford police I swear I do not know what would I do the owner was very sorry for he's son behavior but they can't not take my pain away At this rate I intend on never visiting this Son's home style laundry in Medford again ever  and will discourage anyone I know who plans on visiting as I have never been so badly treated by someone like this   in my life. Imagine having a business that scams people? Cause this is it. I witnessed a man being scammed over $30 for ONE washing machine. He didn't speak English and didn't know why the machine wasn't working even though he put $25 worth of quarters into the machine, switched his clothes into another because the initial machine wasn't working. Cassie who was aware of the situation FROM THE BEGINNING refused to refund the man, let him have any kind of compensation. For an immigrant owned business you would think there would be empathy for others that struggle with language barriers in America. Y'all should feel shameful. read more

A machine took about half of the money I had saved up for laundry. Went for a refund, was met with rude and honestly hostile customer service. They are not kind to anyone without a perfect English accent. Also do not expect a refund despite not being at fault for their faulty machines. read more

If I had the option to give NO STARS I would. I just came back from having my rug cleaned and I cannot be more embarrassed. I went to pick up the rug from the machine washer and the owner came running over to me yelling "You do not bring your rug in hear again, it left dog fur and lint all over the machine!". When I arrived I asked the woman working there for her suggestion on how to clean the rug and she suggested AND assisted me in placing the rug into the machine!. Meanwhile there were customers present during his rant. I was completely taken back with his behavior and embarrassed that he belittled me in front of his customers. I have been a loyal customer of his for many years. His attitude showed no loyalty so therefore I will never return and will provide my business elsewhere. read more

The machines are fine, but was incredibly crowded today with families, children, teenagers not wearing masks blocking the way... I work in a hospital and I need a safe way to do my laundry without inadvertently giving someone COVID-19 (or getting it and not being able to work). This is not that place. I'm going to have to try another business that will make more of an effort to enforce social distancing guidelines. read more

Well.... I just spent $120 on this place between wash and fold and dry cleaning. The dry cleaning came out dirty, despite the fact that I pointed and marked the stains with them. There was dog hair in my suit. The Korean woman didn't apologize or acknowledged their mistake. She simply ignored me. As I was leaving the place, the husband said "DON"T COME BACK" I came and asked what he had said and both of them asked me to never come back. Look, some stains come off when dry cleaning and some don't. I understand that. What doesn't come off easily is bad attitude and rudeness and there seems to be plenty of that in this place. The worst service !!!! the owners are totally aggressive, poorly educated. their machines are always broken and they do not put a note that tells us that we cannot use it. after we already put everything including the money. the machine just stops working and when you communicate that you need help because that machine stopped working, water runs on the floor and everything you put went to the floor. He verbally assaults you. throws you into another laundry. the worst laundromat !!!! read more

The owners here are not kind. I've consistently had interactions that left me feeling uncomfortable, embarrassed and confused. I've been yelled at for using the dryers when they thought that I hadn't done a wash there. I've been reprimanded for opening a washing machine that I thought was mine by accident (but never touching the clothes), just looked and realized it wasn't mine and closed it. Recently, I did wash dry fold service and was told that if it was going to cost more they would call me. I came in and realized it was cash only so I went to the ATM. When I came back I was told it was more and the lady apologized that her manager hadn't called to tell me. I had a toddler with me and I told her I lived really close and asked if I could please take my laundry and I would come back to pay her the extra $5 (that had not been communicated to me in advance anyways). She said I could take one bag but not both so I had to go back to the ATM. My old laundromat was always so friendly. I've given this one so many tries but despite it's proximity to my house it's not worth it. I've never been to a laundromat that straight up yells at people or adds more your bill but doesn't tell you and then doesn't even trust you to come back when you say you live close and have a kid with you!! All around just super inconsiderate and rude. read more
