I am very unhappy with this dry cleaner and the customer service. I dropped off my Vintage Gucci scarf to get pressed and should have listened to my gut that said they may lose it-had an issue a couple Of years ago with this dry cleaner and my bed spread but thought it's new management and give them a try again. Well they lost it and despite me going there numerous times and calling and being told I would get a follow up call-I have only gotten 1 call back in a month since it's been lost. They know they lost it and offered compensation but again I have heard nothing back after being offered this 2 weeks ago and I mainly want the scarf back and the assurance that they are still looking for this. Very disappointed with the entire business and finally learned my lesson and never going back and will go to Highland cleaners nearby instead! I decided to give this place a try because the last one I used destroyed one of my blazers (I should have stayed with the other place). So I walked in and was impressed since they had coffee and bottled water available to clients. And that is where service began and ended. As I waited in line I overheard the attendant being quite rude to the guest before me and I don't know why I didn't leave right then and there. So when it was my turn, the lady was obviously very flustered because she was left alone (I guess the other worker went on lunch break). I was very nice to her but was extremely shocked when in our casual conversation she started using cuss words and describing other customers as "boujee". That was her word, not mine. Why she felt the need to tell me these things is beyond me. So I left my things to be laundered and was tempted to write the 1-star review but decided to wait and see if maybe they did such a great job with my clothes that I would maybe give them a 2-star. Fast forward to today and as I am approaching the entrance I see that the same lady is there. As soon as I open the door she yells over at me "LAST NAME?" and I knew it could only go downhill from there. I give her my receipt and take my things as quickly as possible in order not to have to deal with her. I get to my car and notice that one of my blazers is missing. I go back into the store and tell the lady that I am missing my black blazer and she immediately got defensive and said that there were only 3. I told her to please pass me my ticket so I could check and make sure that I handed 4 blazers (maybe I was wrong and it was 3 after all? Nope). She said she couldn't give me my ticket so I asked to talk to the manager and she told me to come back on Tuesday (today is Thursday). I told her I was afraid that if I didn't have that ticket then they could claim I was lying about having dropped off 4 instead of 3 pieces. She said she wouldn't give me the ticket so I asked to take a photo of the ticket. She wouldn't let go of the ticket thinking that maybe I was going to run off with it? It was extremely awkward. So now I have to find a way of communicating with the manager and hopefully I will get my blazer back. It really is a shame because I can tell the manager obviously tries hard to make the place feel welcoming and provide a different experience but unfortunately the abysmal service overshadows everything else. Good for price but not a friendly staff or helpful. The Goal for me is to drop off and move fast. In fact, that's the purpose of a quick and inexpensive dry cleaning. Having to count out each item every time is not ideal for someone looking to drop & go. Was trying to support this place for multiple reasons but I don't like mean people and Saving $8 isn't worth it to have someone be mean to me as a customer. read more

If I could give negative stars I would. Nu-Yale destroyed my wedding dress and didn't even tell me when I picked it up. I picked it up 2 evenings ago and just opened the bag to show someone my dress. My wedding is in one week. I'm furious that they said nothing and devastated that it might not be able to be repaired in a week. I contacted them immediately online, but they are not open today. Have been using Nu-Yale for years and while I never liked having to count my items (isn't that why the company has staff so that dry cleaning and laundering can be a convenience for the customer) before handing them to Nu-Yale's employee, today is the last day I will be using Nu-Yale. My clothes were sent to another location without our request or authorization. I had to go out of my way to pick them up. I assumed the company would comp the cleaning as an apology for the inconvenience. Instead, it offered 5% discount, then %10, and finally 15%. After the store manager called corporate, the company said 25% was the best it could do. As a small business owner myself, I would have profusely apologized, comped the order, and offered a discount on a future order to ensure my customer was happy and would be returning. No, Nu-Yale decided to be petty about its mistake and, as a consequence, lost a long-time customer and gained a bad review. read more
