Nudys is our go to breakfast spot for dine in and delivery from DoorDash. The food is always good and their fries are the best and still crispy when delivered. The pancakes are awesome and huge, the breakfast burrito is great. Omelettes are really good but the raisin bread and multi grain bread are top notch and I believe baked in house. This place has really gone downhill and this started well before COVID. The food is sloppy, they think it's fine to serve half a table hot food and make the other half wait 10/15 minutes to get their meals. They served my eggs Benedict with hard boiled eggs on it after I asked to make sure they were served runny and charged me for it anyway. Covid only made bad service worse. Plus, they have not bothered to make sure that the inside patrons aren't freezing cold when the servers just hold the door open while serving outside patrons in cold weather. So in all, the service was bad, the food ranged from bad to sub par, and we were freezing. We had to flag people down for basic things like our sides that never showed up, salt and pepper or ketchup for fries. Not coming back anymore. read more

Nudy's is awesome! It can be busy for weekend breakfasts, but I have been able to sneak in without a wait. The food is amazing!!!! I love the speciality pancakes, the omelets are hearty, and the cream chipped beef is really good. The service is usually decent, but sometimes you have to flag down your waitress just because they are so busy. The parking is the biggest downfall. The main parking lot isn't currently striped and someone had parked in the thru way so nobody in the second row could get out. The additional parking lot is crazy small. And last time I was there both lots were full anyway. Street parking is iffy with all the permit restrictions. read more

Visited Nudy's for brunch with my parents on Sunday around noon and had no trouble being immediately seated outside. The menu is large, offering both breakfast and lunch, and the service was friendly. I was fully satisfied with the portions of grilled chicken and avocado on my salad and not hungry again until dinnertime. Although it's a bit down the road from the "main" section of Bridge Street, there's a decent amount of parking available behind the café and on the surrounding streets. Came here today and ordered a large orange juice. Our server brought out the juice and it was not even close to being filled. When I politely asked if she could fill it, she gave me complete attitude and walked away (and never filled it). Then she proceeded to give us our check 10 min after we got our food, and then tried to clear our plates as we were still eating and literally had food in our mouths. Just because there is a long line to be sat, doesn't mean that we should feel like we are being forced to finish fast. We had only been seated for 30 min at this point. It was awkward and uncomfortable. I have been here many many times since I moved here last year, and my awful experience today rubbed me the wrong way. I won't be returning. There's other places in the area that will give you better service and great food (Annamarie's Place). read more

I am not normally one to write 1 star reviews. However, I feel it is warranted in this case. We were seated outside where two other tables were occupied. After 20 minutes our server had not come by, not even a first "hello" to bring us water. The other two tables received no check on service during this time. There was a large table inside which I assume took up our potential server's time. As a former food service employee myself, the first few minutes with any new table are key. 20 minutes with 0 contact is not acceptable! I live just a couple blocks from here and brunch is my favourite meal (LIES! ALL MEALS ARE MY FAVOURITE!) -- OK, special-favourite -- because it's indulgent and weekendy and there are HASH BROWNS. My life would be perfect if I could roll out of bed and into to a fierce brunch spot at the weekends. Which probably explains why I've tried to like Nudy's three times. I know this is likely blasphemy, but why do people pack in here every weekend morning/afternoon? It can't be the food. Although everything on the menu is apparently a "signature" item, I've had meh pancakes (not all that light or fluffy), a tasteless omelet, watered-down tomato juice and limp hash browns. At least at a divey diner your food is flavoured with some tasty grease and whatever was previously in the pan used for cooking. The service is fine, but not exceptionally friendly or attentive. And the decor ... I don't even know. It looks like the sort of place you take your grandmother thinks is "so lovely." (Pro tip: Grandmothers ARE lovely but don't typically have the best aesthetic sense.) I remain open to the possibility I'm missing something about the Nudy's mystique. For now, though, I remain unimpressed, and it'll be a long while before I give it a fourth go. read more

On looks alone, this spot gets 2 stars...maybe - it reminds me of the luncheonette in the old folks home that you take your grandma to when you're doing your obligatory Sunday morning visit. By which I mean, the walls are pale blue, the chairs look like the type set up in most auditoriums, and the place settings are very diner-like. The decor is also lacking, in that there really isn't any decor. With the tiniest of effort, this could be a really delicious AND really cute place to bring family and out-of-towners before checking out cute lil downtown Phoenixville. But the really varied menu (8+ types of pancakes, 8+ types of french toast, and very thing else under the sun) makes this one of the standards for brunching cheap in the 'burbs. This review is based on my first experiences at the Eagleview Location and Phoenixville over two weekends. Must say I've heard a lot about this place and was really excited to take my cousin there who was visiting from out of town. The hostess took us to a dirty table and forgot to leave us menus or come back to clean the table. The floor was very dirty and there were not a lot of customers there, they could have taken the time to bus the tables and do a quick sweep. Luckily our server was great and the cinnamon bun pancakes were great. Just had lunch with my girlfriends at the Phoenixville local and again the floor was very very dirty with dirty tables and barely anyone in the restaurant. Our food was good, nothing exceptional though. Then we waited forever for our server to clear our plates (one of my biggest pet peeves) and bring our check. I had to ask another nearby server for the check, and she just looked confused that I asked her because she wasn't our server. But my last few visits I have felt like I'm basically being rushed through my meal so they can seat more customers. However when I'm only half way through my meal with an empty coffee cup and the only thing the waitress has time for is putting the check in front of me and not offering once beyond that to fill a coffee cup or an empty water glass, I get purturbed. When you are charged $1.50 for a 8oz cup you want to get maybe one or two refills to make it worth the charge. Pro-tip, don't bark at someone to move their coffee so you can put the food down when you come up behind them with the plates. I'm not the negative review type but this was an absolute nightmare and they need to take steps to rectify their service if they want to stay in business. I went on a Sunday for brunch with my friend around 12:00 PM. We sat outside and there were three other tables outside at the time. Our server was Madelyn. I get it, times are tough right now and it's hard to find people to work in the service industry, let alone a place that doesn't serve alcohol, so you're obviously going to get the younger, more inexperienced servers working there due to the smaller checks and, thus, smaller tips. My boyfriend and I each ordered a cold brew coffee. We also ordered the crab benedict, banana pancakes, apple cinnamon French toast, a side of ham, and two fried eggs. While waiting for our food, Madelyn came back to get us refills of coffee and took our empty cups. A few minutes later, another server came out with the refilled coffees and stood at our table waiting for us to take them from her. I said, "thank you, which coffee is which?" because the cups were refilled and we prepared them differently. This other server replied, "I don't know. I'm not your server." I was stunned that she replied this way but I just said that we would figure it out. Our food came out after about a half hour, which whatever, maybe it was busy inside so the kitchen got backed up. What was a problem though, was that all of our food was cold. Not room temperature. Cold. Like it was all just taken out of a refrigerator. Oh and an entire meal was missing, the crab benedict. So we go about eating what we were brought as it was obvious our server, Madelyn, was not coming back any time soon to check on us and how everything came out. After about 20 minutes, we finished all of our cold food and still no crab benedict. Madelyn finally stopped by again since she last took our empty coffee cups and asked how everything was. I didn't even mention the cold food at this point since we had already eaten it and we just wanted to get out of there, but I did say that the crab benedict never came out. She looked puzzled and said she would go check on it. What that meant, though, was that she never put the crab benedict in and she ran in to tell the kitchen to make it on the fly quick. After she went in "to check on it", I watched her wait on two other tables outside while never coming back to ours to say what was going on with our missing food. So we just sit there waiting with no drinks and no food and all we wanted was the check. Ten minutes go by. Madelyn comes back and says, (and this is verbatim) "here it is. Sorry, I don't know who brought your food earlier." So she's telling me that the crab benedict had been sitting in the window for about 45 minutes and she never bothered to make sure we got our food in the first place or ask anyone who ran our food or anything. Ok, Madelyn. Just be honest and say that you forgot to put it in. I told her that we were ready to leave and to just take it off the check so we could go. I've never witnessed such incompetence and pointing figures at co-workers in a restaurant. Long story short (well, I guess I'm passed that point), skip Nudy's. Go to Your Mom's Place for breakfast instead. read more

Our party had 8 people in it so it took a while for us to get seated but they eventually got us all together! We all were starving and really enjoyed our food. The parking situation at Nudy's is terrible as there is hardly any spots for cars. We really enjoyed our breakfast. I had the french toast and sausage which was so good. My fiance had the eggs bennedict which was also very good. Overall a great experience, a little slow service but that was only because of how busy they were. I would go back! read more

I routinely have breakfast every Saturday morning with my Mom and occasionally some relatives or friends. Typically, we are there before 8AM, as after 8:30AM the place tends to fill up and the acoustics are average at best, so it does get a bit noisy. Since we have only had the breakfast menu my review will be limited, but they do offer brunch/lunch fare as well. The food is basic, diner style cuisine with the usual choices of eggs, pancakes, waffles etc etc. They do a good job with the basics, they have a solid variety of omelets - my favorite is the Mexican with the Salsa on the side. They offer fresh fruit as a sub for the hash brown potatoes. The service there is above average, with the staff always cheery and pleasant. I would recommend Nudy's for early morning breakfast for the family. It's not 5 stars, but you will have a good meal and be served by happy, smiling people - which always makes for a great experience. read more

Nudy's is definitely one of my favorite go-tos for brunch. Portions are generous and on point! Staff is extremely friendly, and prices are fairly reasonable. I've been here about twice -- back when I was in college, this place was all the rage with my RA friends -- and want to go back! I had the Pumpkin Spice pancakes and French Toast and was not at all disappointed. It was super worth the money, and was extremely filling. I remember their menu selection having way too many things I was eager to have! Nudy's is pretty good with large groups despite how crowded it can get; I've come in parties of 6 and 10. Fortunately, they seem to know their table turnover rate and we were indeed seated within 5-10 minutes. Points for that. The coffee was so-so. With their quality of ingredients and menu, I was expecting it to not be bland diner coffee. My meal was pretty tasty with the exception of the asparagus, which was entirely wilted. Nudy's in Phoenixville is certainly packed on the weekends. This is a great place to come for a basic hearty all-American breakfast. Of course, the French-style Eggs Benedict is good too! The service is great, even they are full up. Bottomless cups of coffee were great. A side of bacon really hit the spot. My only issue with the Eggs Benedict was that it had a mountain of hash browns. They could have cut that portion size in half, and seasoned it a bit better and also browned it more. The Hollandaise sauce was great as well as everything else in it. read more

Nudy's is one of my go to spots when i don't want to travel far. Jut a short drive from home in the Valley Forge area i always enjoy there food and coffee. On a recent trip i had an Egg white omelette with roasted red peppers, mushroom and goat cheese, hot and very good...roasted there own peppers and the goat cheese was not that pungent just right and creamy. Server was polite and attentive being on-time with coffee refills. Place is aways busy but never have to wait for a table and there is always a table outside on ther patio, just a little close to the road, not that big a deal though. I was on vacation visiting some friends when we stopped by Nudy's cafe for breakfast. I wasn't really in the mood for the normal breakfast routine so I ordered a Tuna Melt. What showed up was not exactly what I was used to but I always like trying new things. the sandwich was 2 open faces sandwiches English muffin , tuna with bacon and melted cheese. They were Aaaaaammaaaazing! served with some Ruffles and a pickle it was the perfect breakfast / lunch. Nudys breaks a traditional mold and makes something so unique and great!
