The Corte Madera Farmers Market is much smaller and more intimate than the Sunday Farmers Market at the Marin Civic Center. This isn't by any means a bad thing. Bigger isn't always better (or so I've been telling girlfriends for years). Here's the way I look at it - instead of a full kitchen, you're getting a kitchenette. Instead of a full length feature, you're getting a really good short film. It's like the Mini Me of Farmer's Markets. And you know what - that's a-ok by me. Smaller crowds. Prettier environment. Plus, when I'm done shopping, I can poke my head into others stores at the Town Center (Safeway, CVS, Crate and Barrel, etc.). You'll find many of your go-to produce and meat/poultry vendors here. Plus, they have my favorite Indian/Nepalese food vendor here (gotta get me some momos, samosas and dipping sauce). And unlike many of its counterparts, this Farmers Market is open from noon to 5pm (which is much better for my schedule). It's definitely worth checking out. Happy shopping, my peeps! : )

You order at the counter, watch them make your creation, and pick it up when it's done! They also offer mobile ordering. Service is always fantastic from everyone I've encountered! Since I work in Marin and got my coworker hooked, we sometimes stop by for açaí before or after work. There are so many options for either signature or build-your-own bowls! I've been trying each signature bowl. This go around, I tried their Bom Dia A.M Breakfast Bowl in a size small. This was so delicious! I loved the fresh fruit, the texture of all the toppings, how rich and creamy it was, and the sweet yet refreshing taste. The smalls are always so filling for me, so I struggle to finish.
