During my gel pedicure, the massage felt very repetitive, as she kept massaging the same area of my feet, as if rubbing it raw. She also repeatedly looked at the timer and her watch and was yawning throughout the service, which made me feel like she was tired and ready to finish. At one point, another client was talking loudly on her phone. Megan seemed annoyed by it and tried to engage me in the annoyance, but I chose to just brush it off and enjoy my service. My manicure with clear polish also felt rushed. Unfortunately, the gel polish on my right pinky toe has already come off, and I don't have the time to go back to have it fixed. Despite the experience, I still left a good tip because I appreciate the effort and wanted to be fair. I do like Luxe Nail Salon and would consider returning, but I hope the quality and attention to detail are more consistent. Perhaps Megan just needed a little more sleep or maybe she does a better job when she has more time to chat/gossip and connect with her clients.

When I asked for assistance, the manager, Lin, became involved but handled the situation aggressively--standing over me, interrupting me, and creating an uncomfortable, hostile environment. Prices continue to increase, but the quality and professionalism simply aren't there. Don't be misled by the name Luxe--there was nothing luxurious about my experience. My nails would break sometimes but here they seem to handle long days. They have great nail color options and I always enjoy how perfect they make the shape of whatever shape you decide.
