Obsessed this is the cutest little candy store ever! We loved all of the sweet treats we picked up and the bag you put them in is so cute!

Small sweet treats shop on Newbury street. Inside is very clean and bright, and has a very uniquely/nicely painted wall for any selfies. This place reminds me of the very old candy shop in every mall back in the 1990s, called Sweet Factory - Except this is much higher class and fewer selection. What sets this place apart if that they sell gummies/marshmallows/candy from all around the world. Some countries: Sweden, Czech Republic, Netherlands etc. You start at the beginning with a clean scoop and a bag. you go around and put what you want in the bag, before checking out: $4.95 per 1/4 pound - yes, it is pricey! The quality of the candy is mostly good, but not so much that its very different from candy from any other normal shop. We had some marshmallow pieces that were kinda firm (stale?). Many of the gummies were stuck to each other, so a tong would've been better. The whole place is operated by one person. As this place is on newbury st in boston, parking will be pretty challenging. If you can find one, you will be rewarded with a bunch of nice higher-end types of shops in the area.

Such a cool twist on a candy store! The walls have murals and colorful pictures. They had about 40 different kinds of candy - some sweet and some sour. You fill the bag with as much or little as you want and pay by the weight. Half a pound is about 20 dollars. I recommend checking it out while walking Newbury Street!

Sweets here are really fresh and great options! I love the sour cola and apple flavours! Feel like there is room for a lot more sweets though, more options!

I am so in love with this store. We have been to a few Swedish candy places and this is hands down my favorite. The variety of the selection of candy like Shirley temple and strawberry skulls like just all the strawberry choices are my favorite. The price isnt bad at all and I like that you get a scoop to bring around to each of the candy bins. I can't wait to go back but wish I knew when they would bring back the sour shirley temple candy .

Such a cute little spot on Newbury street across from Zara. Lots of cute shapes and delicious flavors. Easy to navigate, open space. You grab a bag and a scoop and fill the bag.

A cute candy shop on newbury street! This place is self service and you take your own scooper and get as much candy as your heart desires. It's around $4 for 1/4 of a pound and tells you the price as you grab a bag. They have two sizes and I grabbed the smaller bag. My bag cost around $5 which I thought was great because I got a variety of candy to try. I got a little bit of everything and it was all so tasty and really enjoyed it. Really loved stopping by here as I strolled around newbury.

I really liked lil sweet treat. I was so excited to hear that one opened up in Boston after hearing all the hype about the nyc location. Very cute on the inside, employees were really nice. Large selection of candies. I liked that each one had a description on the box saying the texture and flavor. I don't love really chewy gummies so that was helpful. The bubs were my favorite definitely get some of those if you come here. I also liked the more marshmallowy candies like the bananas. A few were too chewy for me but did have a good flavor. Now that I have been and know which ones I liked and which I didn't I want to go back and curate a better selection. My mini bag was around 5$. Overall though this is a super cute spot and would be great for kids or really anyone. Also would be a nice gift.

Flavors are more upscale than your normal store bought gummy. Flavors we got include rose, champagne, peach Bellini and vanilla latte. Check the box and these say non-alcoholic. Even though some are alcohol flavored, the saleslady said the alcohol is cooked off in the cooking process. The gummy is harder than what I prefer and some of the flavors like the rose and champagne taste like regular gummy bears. The price is for the brand , not necessarily for what you get. The small cubes are ~$8 each. The larger cubes are around $25 each. However, they do have a great promos and a very good loyalty program. We were there the day after valentines and their valentine cubes were buy 3 get 2 free. In addition, they had a Presidents' Day promo - spend $30 and get a free cube which could be used in conjunction with the valentines offer (so we just had to buy 1 more cube to reach $30) In addition to that, we got a small welcome pack for joining the loyalty program and another free cube for birthday reward!

We walked into a location that fits the brand well, sitting comfortably among the other specialty food options in the mall without feeling out of place. The Strawberry and Dubai Chocolate combo is the natural order for anyone trying the concept for the first time. It arrived with pistachio butter and a layered set of toppings that made the whole thing feel more composed than a standard chocolate treat. The chocolate itself is smooth and restrained on the sweetness, which works in its favor and keeps the experience from tipping into cloying territory. The combination with the strawberry is well balanced, with the fruit cutting through the richness of the pistachio and chocolate in a way that keeps each bite feeling fresh rather than heavy. At around eighteen dollars, the price point is the main hesitation. The quality is there and the experience of working through the combination is genuinely enjoyable, but it is more of a one time indulgence or a special occasion treat than something that becomes a regular habit at that cost. As a gift or a novelty stop during a Prudential visit it makes more sense, and the novelty of the Dubai Chocolate format still holds up well enough to justify the trip if you have not tried it before. Decent chocolate, an experience worth having at least once, but probably not a frequent stop for most people.

They also have soft serve, which is both delicious and more reasonably priced. Super beautiful space, and super nice employees! -- I frequently visit this candy shop at least once a week as it's the only way to get my steps in this winter (I live in southie, so I make the commute by foot) AND because my sweet tooth practically compels me to spend an exorbitant amount of money on swedish candy. So, I feel like I have formed a strong opinion about Madeleine's. First, it's colorful, it's beautiful, and it's incredibly welcoming with the way they have been decorating for Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Feels like I'm in Stars Hallows. They always have a new candy of the week to try for free at the counter, which is also a fun way of distracting me as I tap my card again and again for a (10 dollar) baggie of bubs. Yes, ten dollars for a baggie of PRE-packaged swedish candy. That's where this place loses its star. Week to week the mix of candy can change, and often times I'm left with candy that I don't really want. But is it worth it as a midweek pick me up? Yes, sometimes. BUT they also added a soft serve window that rotates flavors by the seasons (maple is my favorite), and you have the option to add a generous amount of bubs for only $2. The ice cream is much more reasonably priced. That makes a visit here worth it. This place is a must-stop in the south end area if you have a sweet tooth but expect it to be on the pricier side.
