IF I COULD ONLY LEAVE ZERO STARS... This was the worst clean I ever had. Including the fact that I have had better cleans with a quick car wash. So the "platinum" detail service was an absolute joke! When I reached out to the manager, they apologized and let me know they'll send another tech the next day. Next day comes, and they are a no-show! Then the manager reaches out afterward letting me know that the tech's car got towed after I've been waiting. I mean come on... I am the fleet manager of our company, and if this went well I would have detailed every car in our fleet. However, they have lost my business for good. Also notice how this company has bad reviews, and they get a re-do done for a better review? I think theres so many times you could make it right. Guy showed up on time and did a tremendous job. Super courteous and left the car in expected condition. Like many services that strive to make life easier, Nu Wash can sometimes be great and other times be lousy. However, after using them for 3 years, and them being great far more than lousy, I feel 4 stars is about right. When they show, which is truly most of the time, they do a great job, whether you're just having the exterior cleaned or the whole car. I've used a number of "mobile car detailing" services in the past, and every one turned out to be unreliable. Nu Wash has been the exception, even though their "technicians" appear to turn over frequently. Their web site could use some tweaking to make it more user-friendly, but that's a minor complaint. I'm just thankful and appreciative that people provide this service while also providing jobs. read more

MULTIPLE LAST SECOND CANCELLATIONS!! Look at other reviews - this is a common theme. What a joke and waste of time. Convenience doesn't matter if you DON'T SHOW UP!!!! I had used NuWash once, and they did a fine job. I would agree with some others, however that you really pay extra for the convenience. So I go to book another wash. I travel a lot for business and am only in town certain days. Of course I booked for when I'm in town and needed the wash. NuWash sure is good about making sure that YOU are ready for your car wash - they sent me texts the day before and day of the wash urging me to "update (my) available time window". They only schedule with a five hour block, so you either commit five hours or all day so they can do your vehicle. I selected a block of time (mind you, both blocks overlap 12-1, so you can't leave during the lunch hour), but did note that I had to leave by 5:00 pm (inside the 5 hour block). Then at 10:24 the day of my wash I get the following text message: "Hey Brian, Amy with NuWash here, I apologize for the late notice. The technician assigned to your car had to take off from their shift to address a family emergency. I've been trying to get the job reassigned but we're pretty booked up for today. Your wash is rescheduled to tomorrow 8/28 if this date does not work please let us know and we'll do our best to accommodate. Thank you for your patience." Ummm, ok. I was leaving town the next day and so texted them just to cancel. Not sure if it was automatic but I then received a text (they really like to text) that said "your car will be washed tomorrow. Please update your available time window". I repeated my text to say I needed to cancel, and they apologized for the error. Now - I realize mistakes happen, and a family emergency is reason for cancellation. I was disappointed, as I have limited times to get my car washed, but I wanted to give NuWash another chance (next time I was in town), as the mobile wash option is so good (plus all the good Yelp reviews, or so I thought!). So.... I scheduled another wash, again on the only day I was going to be in town. Missed a possible lunch appointment, just to be sure the car was ready and waiting. Got two texts from NuWash that made sure I was ready. Then the cancellation text - sorry, but technician "not feeling well"... "reschedule you for Monday" (NO, I'm out for the week again!)... "sorry for the hassle." Plus they always say that another technician can't be assigned because they're "booked" for the day. Wow- lots of other business. Maybe you should take fewer jobs if you have to cancel so much. And HASSLE?? Give me a break!! Like it's some friend doing you a favor - not a BUSINESS. I read through the Yelp reviews and saw a pattern of similar cancellations. I don't know who is giving 5 star reviews. No thanks on your text offer to "reschedule" - I don't have the time to wait until you cancel again. Think I'll also tell our building management company how poorly you treat your customers, since you've asked me if I want to schedule on your "regular" day at my office complex. I used NuWash for a few months and loved it! Sadly recently they have taken a really inconsiderate turn. I've scheduled 5 washes over the last 3 weeks-- and not one was completed. I keep getting confirmation texts that someone will come... yet when I go to my car in the morning there was nothing done. I've reached out to NuWash but they they keep coming up with excuses instead of results. They say that I didn't leave detailed enough instructions (I wrote a full paragraph about where my car was and left my cell number to have the tech call if they needed anything), they stated they never work on weekends, that is when they fix brakes (however the app allows me to schedule and I received confirmation texts instead of being told they don't work weekends), and that the tech could not follow someone in through my apartment's gate (even tho I put my number and would have happily opened the gate for them.) I've emailed and texted and only had a few very unhelpful texts back-- which only told me what I did wrong and offered to reschedule the wash, which doesn't help because when rescheduled, no one comes to wash it. To NuWash: You have a really great service that you are bringing to people, and I would LOVE to give you more of my money, you just need to seriously redo your customer service and customer expectations. read more

I scheduled 2 cars to be washed, a prius and a tesla. The prius was supposed to be from inside and outside. The tesla from the outside. The technician supposedly washed the tesla but the glass was dirty and the bugs are still on the fender. keep in mind that I washed this car last week so there was not a lot of dirt on it to clean. The prius was untouched and I was told it was too dirty to clean. They said they washed a BMW that was in the driveway, I can not verify this because that was washed yesterday and it was already clean. I called to complain and I was told their process is a gently process so as to not damage the paint. I am unclear as to this "gently process" apparently it does not involve water and soap. 100 dollars was paid and I am not sure for what. The BMW was already clean, the tesla is still dirty and the prius was untouched. The owner is supposed to call but I doubt he will I wish I could leave zero stars read more

Your basically paying $70 for a $30 car wash for convenience. Had 2 washes and both times they missed places on my truck. I even had to remind them that I upgraded with the clear coat spray at the end. I had to do touch up cleaning both times after the wash. Convenience is the major factor here, basic wash for 2x what it should cost. read more

Ill be updating this as it goes. 1st I made my appointment on a thursday for them to come on a Monday from 8-1pm. I was happy with the customized options, the fact that they come to you and how they have an app. I had a 10% coupon that didnt work on their website. Via email the guy said it wasnt valid and didnt help me at all. But via txting customer support they "applied the discount" we will see if this is true after the wash. They need to get on the same page with each other...... Monday morning at 730 am I get a txt that they have "over booked" and have moved my appointment to Tuesday without confirming or asking or anything. Just made the assumption. I replied and let them know that didnt work for me and that I scheduled this 5 days ago and that they need to accommodate what they already agreed too. They didnt reply. So I sent another txt with no reply. Several txts and 2 hours later I get a response saying "waiting to hear back from the technician to confirm they can get it done today". It is not 10am and I need my truck by 2pm.... I asked for a full exterior and interior detail. You know they wont be able to do this in that time if I still havent heard back. Ill update more later. Also apparently according to their website this is a common issue and they said that "it happens"...... How about not confirming appointments you cants actually make.... Update #1: Sent another "?" txt and finally got a reply that they would have it done before 2. I asked how do they know when they havent even asked where my truck is..... Could be a great service if they get their scheduling system working properly. You have to sign up for a reoccurring wash schedule. Except when you try to cancel or postpone, the system won't register it. Instead, I get multiple texts about my "next wash" that I've cancelled 3+ times. The frustration with the scheduling system's inaccuracies led me to ask to delete the account, which was confirmed by staff twice, yet I'm still getting texts asking me to make sure my car is unlocked for the "wash today." The convenience of having your car washed at work was great, but I won't be back until the scheduling system is fixed, or they allow for a schedule-as-you-need option. read more

I AM LIVID!! I seriously don't understand what happened. He did nothing, bare minimum of anything I requested. It looked decent upon first looking but once I checked over everything it's horrible. I was charged $136 including a poor mans tip of $3 because of what I initially saw him skip over a couple things. But this overall-! It's absolutely horrid. I don't understand what happened for a whole hour that I watched him on my ring doorbell. I don't know if he was a beginning worker or what happened but this is terrible. I can't even believe a $35 detail for 45 minutes at MISTERS has been a better job then what I purchased for my sisters birthday. My company arranged for NuWash to wash our cars in the company lot. I followed the link they sent and used the discount code provided so I could redeem the company-paid wash. NuWash provided scheduling update texts, and through these texts and their mobile site, our communication worked well. They located my car in our lot and washed it according to schedule. I haven't had time to look my car over well in daylight, but from what I can tell, it's nice and clean. The person who washed and waxed my car was very thorough, continually looking for those little spots to touch up as he was waxing my SUV. Unfortunately, this is the only positive I have. The oils of the spray wax left an ugly residue on the matte plastic of my vehicle. NuWash offered to use the shiny spray that goes onto tires to hide the residue, but I did not want my plastic to be shiny and said that was not a good solution, just wanting them to use soap and water to get rid of the oil spots. After waiting without response, finally gave up and did it myself. The person washing my car stood on the tires to reach the far areas. That did not bother me, but there was a new dent in my hood where I think he put his shin (my SUV is tall). Sent images to NuWash but they have declined to do anything. When they DO actually wash my car - the service is great. The problem is that they continually cancel on me. They cancelled TWICE on me during Memorial Day weekend due to technicians not being available. I could understand the first cancellation, but why on earth would they have booked me for the second appointment if they know they were having issues with staffing?? The third attempt in washing my car in the past week was a failure because they claimed they could not find my car (despite me having clearly indicated on my profile where my car was parked). Ultimately they fessed up and told me that they were unable to get into the secure parking garage of my apartment. I have also heard this from them on other occasions. C'mon people. I scheduled a wash well in advance - during the window which they were supposed to show up I received a text saying they couldn't make it due to "an emergency in his family". Now after reading many other reviews, this is something they tell so many of their customers, and makes me very suspicious of whether or not it's actually true. What's worse is they told me that their first available reschedule window was TWO WEEKS AWAY. Two weeks is a ridiculous reschedule window when you've cancelled on me at the last minute. I was even thinking I would use this company to do a weekly recurring wash to keep my new truck clean but I'm glad they exposed themselves to be so bad so early on. I do need to find a place to get my truck washed last minute though. Everything about the whole experience was horrible and this seems to be the norm with them. Don't waste your time, I waited around all day for them and I still have to take my truck somewhere to get washed. They did hand out a $20 credit super easy - probably because they know by this point no one would trust them to order from them ever again. I know I certainly won't. In all fairness, when he had set up a conversation with a shop to correct the mistake, the owner had not replied all and only replied to sender which was Walker. Simple mistake. Worst ever: First the online system allowed me to schedule a wash on June 4. Got a message from Sam stating could not do it on the 4th. So had it rescheduled for June 5th. Got a message from Sam on the 5th that the technician could not come. Got it rescheduled for the 8th. Just got a message saying that they cannot make it on the 8th. At a glance, it looked like a good wash. Unfortunately, like another review stated, the drying cloth or method leaves a lot of microscratches. I would have been far better off driving through touchless wash. I really thought I could count on this handwash but I'm am sorely disappointed.
