Best bagel place I've been to. I love it so much and the employees were so sweet and nice. very satisfied, if I could write an essay on how much I love it I would!! Hahaha. Plus the inside was super cute.

Salmon bagel was real good. Onion rings were ok. Place was clean and staff friendly. I got the rose cardomom coffee which was delicious.

We ordered from NY Bagels and Coffee on DoorDash, and it was honestly one of the worst food experiences I've ever had. The bacon was rubbery, plastic-like, and completely inedible -- clearly microwaved from a pre-packaged box. Everything tasted stale and reheated, not freshly made. Afterward, we looked up reviews and saw people reporting mice on the counters and moldy sandwiches at their other locations, Melting Sun and Manhattan Bagel and Coffee. That explains everything. The photos they use online are totally fake -- AI-generated and misleading. Nothing we received looked like the pictures. It's pure deception across all three restaurants. This place is a total health hazard and should not be operating under multiple names. Save your money and your stomach. Do yourself a favor and avoid NY Bagels and Coffee, Melting Sun, and Manhattan Bagel and Coffee at all costs.

They dont use gloves. Touching everything, sneezing then making your bagel. Food tastes good though. Would recommend as last resort.

The blueberry bagel I had that day was absolutely superb, probably the best blueberry bagel I've ever had in Boston. A few days later, I craved that same blueberry bagel and made the trip back, which is a considerable drive for me. Upon arrival, I was told that blueberry bagels are not offered every day and are only available on Thursdays. I returned the following Thursday, but the experience was very different. I got blueberry, poppy, and a few other bagels to take home. Unfortunately, all of them were absolutely disappointing. They tasted extremely off and very different from the blueberry bagel I had previously. At home, my family ate about half of what we purchased, but none of us had any desire to finish the rest. Overall, the experience was unpleasant, and the bagels were not enjoyable at all. The blueberry bagel from my first visit looked and tasted amazing and was completely different in quality from what I received on my second visit. On top of that, the person behind the counter seemed careless with hygiene, touching the screen, bagels, and other surfaces without any apparent attention to cleanliness. It felt like a completely different place compared to my first visit just a couple of weeks earlier. Overall, I'm extremely disappointed.

Of course there's always a line but it moved pretty quickly, and we were even able to snag a table at the last second. To be fair, the bagel was good, if you go in with the mindset of not comparing to a NY bagel. Bagelsaurus has more crispy bagels, and it's pretty thin, while NY bagels and thick and chewy. With that in mind, if you want to compare to NY, you're not going to like this. But if you just want a bagel or breakfast sandwich, it's pretty good! I personally liked the texture for what it is, and they have good variety of bagels and sandwich options.

The smell of bacon was too good to keep moving past it and we decided to head inside. Best happy accident!! Any place that has staff wearing shirts that say "Stoked for yolks" and has an array of pig decor- jackpot! The small menu was deliciously stacked with breakfast and lunch options; the griddle was sizzling, there's a drink fridge, and a spot to stand and consume. My husband got a turkey and I did a ruby melt; SO GOOD! I perused the menu, and the breakfast options all looked incredible! If you find yourself on this end of Tremont and you smell amazing bacon, follow your nose to Mike and Patty's - you will not be disappointed! Also, staff was super friendly! There's a small park with shaded benches about 2 blocks away (Elliot Norton Park) which is a great place to sit down and devour the food. I ordered the Mission Breakfast Burrito and it was delicious. As of August 2026, the website lists the burrito as $14, but the price on the in-person menu was $16. I would give the burrito 4 out of 5 stars because of the way it was wrapped - about a third of the burrito was just egg and cheese and the toppings (avocado, red onion, hash browns, salsa verde, crema) were crammed on the other side of the burrito. If there was a way for the burrito to be wrapped so all the ingredients were more evenly distributed - this would easily be a 5/5 breakfast burrito. One random detail that stuck out to me was that their drinks in their refrigerator were very cold - no lukewarm sodas here! I would come back here to try their signature "Fancy" sandwich. Overall, this is a very solid breakfast spot in Boston!
