My appointment and experience was flawless. I cannot ever recall having an install without pain but Fashion made it painless. Our conversation was so good that the appointment flew by. I was in and out in 2 hours and the end result was even better than my reference pics. Her location and salon are ideal. I am so happy to have found her and know that a beautiful hair-lationship has begun.

    Loose track.

Upon leaving the salon I noticed a track lifting up. I rightfully assumed the track was secure and maybe needed to be cut closer to the knot. Boy was I wrong. 4 weeks later after washing my sew in, the track has lifted nearly an inch! I called Fashion and her response was for me to spend more of my time and money for her to fix it at an additional cost of "$5 or $10". It's simply asinine to expect someone to pay for YOUR mistake. A professional, careful stylist would have made sure everything was secured before customer gets out of their chair. If you cannot get it right the first time at least fix it for free. On top of that, she insists this is normal and is expected when you get a sew in . I consulted with a new stylist I will be seeing and they agreed she was careless and did not secure the track. With a 4.8 Google review this is unacceptable.

Yelp came to the rescue when I searched for a weave salon and this place was one of the first to pop up. Great reviews, great photos, and great tips on the website. I'd been waiting for my appointment for nearly 2 months! And finally this morning it arrived. I was early, thought I'd be late, and Fashion was on time. We started right away. She's very professional and quick. I have to admit I was a little nervous but also very excited. I wasn't sure if my hair would blend well with the hair. BTW, when a popular stylist uses fabhair and recommends it, use it! All my worries disappeared after the styling. My hair matched perfectly to the hair. I look amazing and Fashion did an incredible job. By the way, I asked her how she keeps her great figure and she recommended GG bran crispbread from Scandinavia. She and I joked that I will mention this on my review as a one stop shop deal. Lose weight and look great. Thanks Fashion!

I have been going to fashion for over a year now and the hair is great quality as well as the service she provides.as for timing she the best very professional Each visit is no more then 2 hrs,I maintain my hair it's super easy washing hair and moisturizer is key for a healthy scalp. And on my vacation I was in water every day,I'm very picky never liked weaves or would even consider getting it but fashion has the skills and most important knowledge to educate you and here I am 1 year lady

I've been going to Fashion for years & I will continue to. Talk about a weave magician. Fashion is super talented. The salon is intimate, clean, & you really get a one on one experience. I love going to Fashion, she always hooks me up. If you want to be transformed into a goddess, schedule an appt. You WONT be disappointed.

After my first appointment with Fashion at NYC Weave Studio I will be a long term devotee. She is AWESOME!! The salon is cute and clean and best of all she does amazing work while honoring your time. I arrived at 3:51 and was in her chair at 4:00 (my scheduled appointment time) and was ready to walk out with a bouncy new do by 5:40. My hair looks natural and her technique will protect my hair underneath. She has a really gentle touch so no missing edges. Follow the pre appointment instructions on her site, buy good hair, and you will not be disappointed!

I never left a hair salon feeling this happy and receiving so many compliments on the way home. Not only did Fashion do an amazing job she also gave me useful advice and tips throughout the whole process. My advice to any new clients is to listen to Fashions suggestions and to show up on time to your appointment. I will definitely be returning back for any future hair appointments.

Fashion's Braiding: Braids are not too small nor too tight. She does NOT use the beehive technique as another reviewer mentioned.

I paid $480 for my appointment and left with hair that looked patchy and not like what we had discussed. While disappointing results can sometimes happen, what bothered me most was the complete lack of communication afterward. I reached out to Masaki on May 13 regarding my concerns and attempted to resolve the issue privately. I never received a response. It has now been about a month, and despite giving plenty of time for a reply, I have been ignored. I did not immediately leave reviews or make public comments because I wanted to give him the opportunity to address the situation directly. Unfortunately, that opportunity was never taken. For $480, I expected a higher standard of work and customer service. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Masaki.

This was their "best advice for me" and that I should come back and get both together. I only needed a haircut and this was the only chance I got (I am a SAHM with 2 kids and minimal backup except this day) so I said I would consider it but I need a cut now. It was 6 months since my last. That must have just not been the right thing to say bc I was judged, insulted during the entire session and I got the worst haircut of my life. I can't even get it fixed because it is so much shorter than I wanted. There are huge "texture" discrepancies all over my hair, the most obvious being in the back near my neck. There's also a strand of hair far longer than the entire length of my bob cut. I don't even understand how this happened. I'm so traumatized. I would never recommend this place and will never ever come back. I really had 1 chance to get a cut as a treat to myself, since I really don't have extra time to spare. And now I have to live with this until it grows out, definitely more than 6 more months. If I could give -1000 stars, I would. Please do yourself a favor and find a salon that can do a nice cut for long AND SHORT hair. WITHOUT A PERM TO MAKE IT ALL STRAIGHT FIRST. The skill level here is just so sub par. I could have done it myself.

I went back recently to bleach my hair and I was so shocked by how good it came out - and in only 4-5 hours! He's definitely a professional and knows what he's doing especially when it comes to dying/bleach/toning and cutting short Asian hair to fit my face shape. I asked for ash brown (which I usually get) but I got a way lighter color than expected and the bleach (he went over the bleach twice) really damaged my hair. On top of that, they charged me for a haircut I never asked for. During the balayage, the stylist cut/thinned (no idea what he did because he never asked me) some of my hair (maybe 10 "snips"?) and they later charged me an additional $70 for the "haircut." This really pissed me off because in the middle of my appointment, I even heard an assistant ask in Mandarin "is she getting a haircut?" and the stylist shook his head. I was really unhappy with my hair that I went to get a hair treatment (for the dry, damaged hair) and toner at a different salon a week later. That stylist even asked "who did your hair?"
