This photo shows the repair parts but see how dirty it is all around it that was supposed to be cleaned off.

Dear Corporate Management Team, I am writing to formally bring to your attention concerns regarding a recent service visit to Niall Maxwell Auto Dealership involving both the quality of the warranty repair performed on my vehicle and the customer service I received during my visit. I brought my vehicle in for a routine oil change and tire rotation. During the inspection, I was informed that there was an issue with the right rear half axle and that it was leaking. However, when I inspected the area, I did not see any clear evidence of an active leak. The area was heavily covered with dirt, grease, grime, and corrosion, which made it difficult to determine whether there was actually an active leak. Because the repair was covered under warranty, I left my vehicle at the dealership so the work could be performed. I was subsequently informed that the right-side half shaft was replaced and that the CV axle boot on the right side was also replaced. My concern is the condition in which the vehicle was returned to me. The surrounding area was not properly cleaned after the repair. The area remains heavily covered with accumulated dirt, grease, and grime, with the exception of the immediate area where the boot and axle work was performed. In my opinion, this is not an acceptable level of workmanship or presentation following a warranty repair. Cleaning the surrounding area would have been important for another reason as well. Since I was originally told there was a leak, the area should have been cleaned sufficiently to allow the technician and customer to determine whether there were any additional leaks or other issues present. Leaving the accumulated grime in place makes it difficult to verify the condition of the surrounding components after the repair. additionally, I'd like to add. I had to make them put it back up on the to clean it because they it when they repaired it and it should've been all cleaned off so they did put it back up and clean it, but that was an inconvenience should've done it during the repair. I am also concerned that this condition appears to have been developing over a considerable period of time. I regularly bring my vehicle to this dealership for scheduled oil changes and maintenance. If there was significant grease, dirt, and buildup around this area, I am concerned that the condition should have been identified during one of the previous inspections rather than only being brought to my attention now. I also want to address my experience with the service representative who initially assisted me, Mindy Keith. When I asked about the availability of a loaner vehicle, because my vehicle was being kept at the dealership for a warranty repair, I was concerned that no loaner vehicle was available. I asked Ms. Keith if she could speak with a manager regarding the situation. She told me that she could not go speak with a manager because she would get in trouble. I found this response very concerning and unprofessional. As a customer, I believe I should be able to request assistance from a manager without being made to feel that my request is inappropriate or that the employee is unwilling to assist me because she may get in trouble. I also did not feel that the manner in which my concerns were addressed was courteous or customer-focused. I would, however, like to recognize Maria Murillo for the assistance she provided. Ms. Murillo was courteous, professional, and helpful throughout the process. She allowed me to look at my vehicle while it was on the lift so that I could better understand the condition of the area in question. I appreciate the way she treated me and took the time to address my concerns. I am asking Corporate Management to please review this matter, including: 1. The diagnosis and documentation of the alleged leak. 2. The condition of the right rear axle/CV axle area before and after the repair. 3. Why the surrounding area was not properly cleaned following the warranty repair. 4. Whether previous service inspections should have identified the buildup or condition in this area. 5. The customer-service response I received when I requested to speak with a manager regarding a loaner vehicle. 6. The dealership's process for ensuring warranty repairs are properly completed and the vehicle is returned in an appropriate condition. I am not simply looking for an apology. I would like this matter reviewed so that I can understand what was done, why the surrounding area was left in this condition, and what will be done to prevent similar situations from occurring in the future. I have been bringing my vehicle to your dealership for service and maintenance, and I expect the work performed on my vehicle and the treatment I receive as a customer to meet a professional standard. Please provide me with a written response regarding the outcome of your review. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Salesman telling me they spent allot of money working on it and couldn't do anything else for us

We bought a 2021 Dodge Ram for our son from Nyle Maxwell. We are from Amarillo so we flew in to pick up the truck and drive it back 7 hours. We made it two hours and the engine light came on with the attached message. We stopped at Stanley Jeep Ram in Brownwood to see if they could check the diagnostics. They did and found that all kinds of codes came up (see pictures) but the one causing the issue was a exhaust differential pressure sensor. We had bought the extended warranty so we didn't think we had anything to worry about, but the dealership let us know it doesn't go into effect until 30 days AFTER the purchase. This is a way for the warranty companies to make sure the dealerships are not selling junk cars and that they will at least last 30 days. Called our sales man Travis and let him know the issues we were having and he told us they had already spent too much money for them to fix it and still make money and that we should leave it at the dealership in Brownwood for 30 days until our extended warranty kicked in and they would fix it. In other words, we have his and Nyle Maxwells permission to commit fraud. The truck broke down 5 hours from our house. We had to get a hot shot to pick it up which cost $1985 plus $570.83 from the dealership to fix the issue for a pickup we owned 2 hours! No phone calls from Nyle Maxwell, they don't care, STAY AWAY!!

Ask for Kay for an Outstanding Car Buying Experience! I had an absolutely phenomenal experience at Nyle Maxwell Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM of Austin! I bought a 2022 Dodge Challenger R/T, and from start to finish, Kay went above and beyond to make it happen. When I first found the Challenger online, there weren't any photos yet because it had just been listed. I'd been searching for months for the perfect car, and this one turned out to be the car of my dreams. I reached out to the dealership, and Kay immediately sent me photos and a walk-around video. She had the car ready for us when we arrived, stayed late to answer all our questions, and was honest and transparent through the entire process. Kay worked incredibly hard to get us to the payment and rate we wanted--even with a ton of negative equity and only fair credit. The finance manager and team were just as fantastic--professional, communicative, and easy to work with. One of the most impressive things Kay did was personally drive the car to my house to test if it could make it up our steep driveway before we finalized the deal. Who does that anymore? That kind of dedication blew us away! The paperwork with Kristin was quick and painless, and the extended warranties were impressive. When we finally drove home, the Challenger was spotless, detailed, and everything I'd hoped for. If you want a dealership that will jump through hoops to make your dream car a reality, go to Nyle Maxwell! And ask for Kay! She's a woman of action who gets things done. As a female buyer, it meant the world to work with such a knowledgeable, genuine, and empowering salesperson. Thank you, Kay and the entire Nyle Maxwell team, for an unforgettable experience.

We went in there to test drive a used Fiat that was advertised. It was a one owner vehicle that they had originally sold and then serviced throughout its life. Our salesman Isaac was friendly and no pressure, and the manager Bo immediately lowered the asking price by $500. We quickly received their best offer, and everyone was friendly and competent. No hours of back-and-forth ridiculousness, no added on "reconditioning fees", or making you sign on an X that you were going to buy the car that day - none of that terrible car dealership mumbo-jumbo that makes you want to scream. When we picked up the car, it was perfectly detailed and they didn't keep us there for hours trying to get us to buy extra things. All in all a very pleasant experience! Ask for Isaac, he was super low-key and knowledgeable salesman.

    Fees

We recently visited Nyle Maxwell to see a 2020 Mazda CX-3 Sport (black) that looked well-maintained in the pictures. Unfortunately, the in-person experience was very different. The vehicle had several noticeable issues: * Strong cigarette odor inside the car. * Paint dots and marks on the doors. * Door fixtures stained with ash and scratches, which would take multiple deep cleanings to fix. * Trunk liner cover missing. * Car needed alignment (noticeable while test driving). * Rotors and wheels in major need of replacement/repairs, plus other mechanical fixes that would easily cost a buyer 2-3 months of expenses right after purchase. When we asked for the pre-conditioning report, the staff claimed they didn't have it--even though they're the same dealership that serviced it. Instead, the manager tried to justify the price by saying it was "the best deal" and blamed tariffs and sales trends for their aggressive pricing tactics. We also found out that their "best price" of $200-$300 less only applies if you finance through them. On top of that, they push a so-called "free lifetime warranty", but nothing is free. Their cars are priced above fair market value, and that "warranty" is simply built into the cost. And then there are the dealer fees. They presented a breakdown showing a Doc Fee ($225), License Fee ($108.50), Title Fee ($37.75), Road & Bridge Fee ($23), Inspection ($21.75), and Deputy Fee ($10). All of that was bundled into $426 total dealer fees. Other dealerships we visited charged around $250 total, so this was still inflated. The way it's presented also makes it look like you're paying a stack of mandatory government charges, when in reality it's just the dealership's internal fee package. To make matters worse, the manager demanded to see a comparable vehicle listing before even considering negotiation. By the time I found one, I realized just how overpriced this vehicle actually was compared to others on the market. The sales process felt pushy. Rather than addressing defects or negotiating fairly, the manager insisted it was already the best deal. Later, when another salesperson stepped in, she came across aggressive and unfriendly, which only made the experience worse trying to harshly sell their lifetime warranty. No girl. In the end, we didn't buy the CX-3. We found a better deal at another dealership, a 2021 model with 10k fewer miles, less damage, and a lower price. The difference in customer service was night and day. Nearby dealerships like Kia North Austin and Covert treated us with respect, were transparent, and actually listened. Takeaway: * Don't advertise a low price and then add inflated dealer fees on top. * Don't mislabel internal fees as government charges. * Don't sell cars with obvious defects and mechanical issues at inflated prices. * Don't fall for the "free lifetime warranty" pitch, it's baked into their inflated prices. * Don't make customers feel trapped by financing games. There's a reason this dealership has 2.5-star reviews and our visit confirmed it.

When he noticed the residue on my windshield from a past oil change sticker (not theirs), he offered to clean that right up for me! When I got my vehicle back, the residue was gone. 4 - He came to the waiting room to inform me of what my cost would be for my requested services. 5 - Mid-way through the oil change, he let me know which of my fluids were good-to-go & the ones that he topped off. 6 - He showed me my air filter, & we discussed when I would likely need to replace it (a replacement air filter was not needed). No guilt or pressure tactics, just helpful information. 7 - When the oil change was completed, he drove it to the other side where they do the tire rotations & came to let me know that my vehicle had moved to the next phase. The guy that completed my tire rotation & took the payment was extremely courteous & very personable as well. I bring up that brake issue because it eventually became a pattern of dropping the ball, and repeated issues 1. My car had to be towed because basic logic well known issue for GMC/Chevy 6.2 liter V8 engines have a lifter issue which requires engine replacement. The car wasn't in bad shape as you say. Cadillac dealership said I should have it towed due to the knocking sound. My car has always been kept immaculate. Yes you quoted a fair price, it was Lambs in Lakeway that was ridiculous and most people know they are. The engine took long because they sent the wrong engine and in regards to my finances it wasn't I couldn't pay . I was at the mercy of you and I was nothing but polite every single interaction with you. Your dropped the ball so many times and you actually asked me for advance payment at one point because you needed to pay your taxes . I didn't want to pay you UPFRONT Frank. You fix then pay, that's most every way it's done . You didn't have the money to cover costs which is a concern regarding running a business. I had also just spent money on another car repair and boat repairs . The car sat as I decided what I wanted to do. As far as stating you could have charged me storage you never once mentioned that and I have every phone call that proves that. Pretty shady of you to pull that out on your reply here. Again not on single time did you ever mention storage fees. So please don't act as if it was some favor you did. The car went in for an engine replacement. As you confirmed the day you put the engine in to test drive you call me telling me I need steering column replacement. Yes I have you on recording Frank stating that indeed the lift and big tires were the culprit. The steering was completely fine and it had not been driven once per you as we waited for the engine issue and replacement to be resolved. You now understand why I recorded you. You can't remember what you told me. I didn't struggle to pay you. I had a boat in repair and another car a Range Rover in repair. I communicated to you very professionally. By the way let's remember you had me pay up front on everything. It was the engine that was ordered that was delayed. 2. Regarding the transmission line. Let the public see this post. I pick up my car from Frank and I make it about a quarter to half a mile or so down road and what becomes the problem is the transmission line. Frank I have that call to you recorded as well and your claim that I accelerated or false and blew the line is total BS. It had nothing to do with big tires. I'm saving all my facts, statements from GM certified techs , and video of your guy coming over to "fix" it. Within a day or 2 it went out again and I made you tow it for free. It was your guy that you sent and had him do what he did and sent me on my way and that all was fine only to have it sent back to you. By the way on our recorded call you tried to lead me to believe with certainty it was one thing when in fact you were wrong and called me with another reason. Again grateful I recorded both those conversations. The reputable mechanics I discussed were my brothers out of Houston. My brother owns a professional garage and luxury and collector car biz for 22 years. The other reputable people was a connection I had out of A Cadillac dealer in Dallas. I mentioned this to you and so logically my car stayed locally with you. 3. The whole issue about you spending 200 for the detail I will just say to anyone reading this look at the pics of my Escalade left in his care. Never should have happened Frank. By the way I took a time stamp video of my car before it went back to you. I didn't spill the oil. That's a regular engine oil. Why would I need engine oil to leave in my backseat after you just repaired and did an engine replacement. Again shady of you to blame that on me. And by the way I had to waste 3 hours of my work day sitting there waiting on a detail. Completely unprofessional. 4. I asked you you fix my windshield wiper motor while you had it. You never did. I kept asking you very time you had the car and I have your texts alone that show you forgot several times. same thing Frank regarding the transmission thermostat. I asked you several times, you came out to fix my running board and forgot to get the transmission thermostat and windshield motor. Again pretty crazy you fixed my transmission yet our texts show you dropping the ball on the thermostat. I have lost count on the amount of texts I have that show you never show up on time. I'm done with my response. I'll update this post after claims court.
