We found 2 other 3500s in San Antonio matching what we needed for 54k and they told us that San Antonio was miss leading us, and there online price was fleet only. The "manger" informed us of this. Avoid this dealership at all costs. The service department at Nyle Maxwell on 620 is completely unprofessional and unreliable. They had my Jeep for over a week, did no repairs, gave me conflicting information, and tried to charge me two deductibles for delays that were their fault. The Service Director cut me off repeatedly, refused to let me explain the situation, dismissed my concerns, and hung up on me. Advisors have yelled on the phone, never apologized, and offered zero accountability. Worst of all -- the Jeep they sold me has a major safety issue. The rear seats do not lock into place. No complaints there. Service Department: Unfortunately, my experience with the service department was the complete opposite. It took nearly four months just to get an appointment, which was frustrating in itself. When I finally brought my truck in, I had a recall scheduled along with a list of five intermittent electrical issues that needed attention. The vehicle was kept for 24 hours and driven about 60 miles. While they did reconnect the wiper fluid lines, the handling of the actual concerns was disappointing. Instead of acknowledging that the issues could not be replicated, I was told that the systems were "functioning as designed." That response is concerning, especially given that the problems are intermittent by nature. Expecting those issues to present themselves within a short testing window is unrealistic, and dismissing them without proper acknowledgment doesn't instill confidence. To add to the frustration, I was informed after the appointment that the recall could not be completed because parts would not be available until mid-April. This is something that should have been communicated at the time the appointment was scheduled. Overall, while the sales experience was excellent, the service department fell far short of expectations. I bought 4 brand-new tires from Nyle Maxwell Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram back in February 2026, expecting professional service and support if anything went wrong. Unfortunately, one of the tires got a screw in it, so I returned to the dealership thinking they would at least help inspect or repair it under the tire warranty I was sold. Instead, I was told it was "not covered" because they "didn't put the screw in the tire," and that I would have to pay out of pocket just to have it repaired. The manager's attitude was dismissive, unhelpful, and completely lacking customer care. Rather than trying to offer any reasonable solution or explain the warranty professionally, the situation escalated to the point where I was told I was "not allowed" at the dealership anymore. I have never experienced this level of disrespect from a business after spending money with them. Selling customers expensive products is easy -- standing behind them and treating customers with professionalism is what really matters. This dealership failed badly at both. He very quickly let me know that the junction (fuse) box and TIPM were oxidized, causing my electrical issues, and would both need to be replaced. For one of their most expensive trucks, the service after the sale has been nothing short of terrible. I left Marco, my salesperson, three voicemails about a very obvious misaligned driver-side door panel. No response. When I stopped by the dealership in person, I found several salesmen sitting in their cubicles staring at their phones, Marco included. I asked him if he could take a second to look at the issue. He followed me outside, then immediately ignored me and started talking to another customer. I went to the service department myself. It wasn't busy, but the advisor I spoke with couldn't even schedule a simple repair. Someone else had to call me back later. Catherine eventually did and told me it would be nearly 20 days before they could even look at my brand-new $90k+ truck. This is a five-minute fix that should have been caught during detail and delivery. I contacted Marco again after hearing the ridiculous wait time. He said he'd "take care of it," but nothing changed. Same delay. Same excuses. No accountability from anyone at this dealership. For perspective, I called a competitor dealership and they offered to get me in by Friday with no hassle at all. I've purchased three vehicles from Nyle Maxwell before. After this experience, never again. We recently visited Nyle Maxwell to see a 2020 Mazda CX-3 Sport (black) that looked well-maintained in the pictures. Unfortunately, the in-person experience was very different. The vehicle had several noticeable issues: * Strong cigarette odor inside the car. * Paint dots and marks on the doors. * Door fixtures stained with ash and scratches, which would take multiple deep cleanings to fix. * Trunk liner cover missing. * Car needed alignment (noticeable while test driving). * Rotors and wheels in major need of replacement/repairs, plus other mechanical fixes that would easily cost a buyer 2-3 months of expenses right after purchase. When we asked for the pre-conditioning report, the staff claimed they didn't have it--even though they're the same dealership that serviced it. Instead, the manager tried to justify the price by saying it was "the best deal" and blamed tariffs and sales trends for their aggressive pricing tactics. We also found out that their "best price" of $200-$300 less only applies if you finance through them. On top of that, they push a so-called "free lifetime warranty", but nothing is free. Their cars are priced above fair market value, and that "warranty" is simply built into the cost. And then there are the dealer fees. They presented a breakdown showing a Doc Fee ($225), License Fee ($108.50), Title Fee ($37.75), Road & Bridge Fee ($23), Inspection ($21.75), and Deputy Fee ($10). All of that was bundled into $426 total dealer fees. Other dealerships we visited charged around $250 total, so this was still inflated. The way it's presented also makes it look like you're paying a stack of mandatory government charges, when in reality it's just the dealership's internal fee package. To make matters worse, the manager demanded to see a comparable vehicle listing before even considering negotiation. By the time I found one, I realized just how overpriced this vehicle actually was compared to others on the market. The sales process felt pushy. Rather than addressing defects or negotiating fairly, the manager insisted it was already the best deal. Later, when another salesperson stepped in, she came across aggressive and unfriendly, which only made the experience worse trying to harshly sell their lifetime warranty. No girl. In the end, we didn't buy the CX-3. We found a better deal at another dealership, a 2021 model with 10k fewer miles, less damage, and a lower price. The difference in customer service was night and day. Nearby dealerships like Kia North Austin and Covert treated us with respect, were transparent, and actually listened. Takeaway: * Don't advertise a low price and then add inflated dealer fees on top. * Don't mislabel internal fees as government charges. * Don't sell cars with obvious defects and mechanical issues at inflated prices. * Don't fall for the "free lifetime warranty" pitch, it's baked into their inflated prices. * Don't make customers feel trapped by financing games. At this dealership Nyle Maxwell Super Center, with barely 851 miles in just 57 days, the truck have a failure on the date of October 9th. 2025, I took it to the dealership because it displayed a check engine light, next thing I called the place and this Lady Samantha Melhado took good care of me very professional very kind the people of this area really treated me well even the Manager responsible of the area and rental I appreciate it much their help God Bless them all, Samantha explained to me the possible causes and the outcome was "Engine problems", they found shaved metal particles inside the engine & they reportedly told the warranty company about it, & I told them I do really need the truck back since I am losing business as we speak, for God's Sake I gave a downpayment of $7000 on the truck & now it was broken already, why they sold me a vehicle in those conditions "Why"?. They contemplated initially the possibility of me paying money for the dismantling of the vehicle to find the root of the problem but I spoke with the manager and Samantha and he said that I was right & he would take care of it for a minute I felt relief but when I found out that the might have to replace the whole engine, how much more time I have to waste to have the vehicle back then? I honestly hate writing reviews unless they are good ones. However I am fed up with this service department. I must let the people know what type of service they provide their customers. Less than two years ago about a 2021 ram 1500, $80,000 truck from another ram dealership. Unfortunately, I've had to get it service over four times within the year and 10 months that I've had the truck. Every single time that I left it, they kept it for over a week. The first time they kept it for over two weeks because they had ordered the wrong parts. I asked the service managers for a rental or loaner car just like any other dealership gives when we take our work trucks to get service. They kept on denying me so I had to pay for my own Rent-A-Car, which was close to $1000 the first time and the second time over $500. This is the fourth time that I have my truck there. I have to call them all day to try to get a hold of a manager. Every single time I've been denied a loaner or any type of help getting into a rental car. Every time, they just tell me sorry we don't have anything available, everything is booked up. Then one of the other manager slips up and tells me that they reserve/ give priority in the rental cars for people that buy directly from their dealership. Jacob Rogers, the service manager should honestly be fired. He doesn't know what customer service is. Which sucks because the Service Advisor Mindy is a good advisor and cares. What is the difference between my $80,000 truck and the one day they sell to somebody else? It's is the same manufacture, the same company, and all customers should be treated equally. Or at least get some sort of help, not just say sorry there's nothing we can do for you. No wonder there's a 2.5 rating for this dealership. **Buyer Beware** Extremely disappointed with my experience at Nyle Maxwell. I found a vehicle listed as new on their website that matched exactly what I was looking for. I even confirmed over the phone that it was a brand-new, never-owned vehicle and eligible for all the benefits of a new Jeep. However, when I arrived at the dealership to finalize the purchase, I was told -- only then -- that it was actually a demo unit. Despite my concerns, I was reassured that it still qualified for all new vehicle programs, so I moved forward with the purchase based on that assurance. Fast forward to my first oil change, and I find out the vehicle is not eligible for the complimentary two years of Jeep Wave. I went in and received a trade in appraisal from the dealership beneath the car's worth--a premium car with no issues--and they would only offer a higher appraisal if I went through them only for financing. I was going to finance with USAA, but when reviewing numbers, they snuck in that the new car appraisal was several thousand dollars less than what the car was appraised for originally. When I noticed the number was different and I asked why, they lied that they would not be able to get much in return for the car trade in and I would have to use their financing for a higher appraisal. I was uncomfortable with the situation and ended up leaving. Several other dealerships in the area CONFIRMED that not only did they offer a higher appraisal for the trade in, but that the trade in amount remains the same when using USAA. Didn't resolve the transmission issue on my 2025 RAM RHO. The service advisor was incredibly dismissive, proceeded to explain to me how a "performance" transmission operates, it was baffling as I immediately realized he didn't have the slightest idea how a transmission operates and I question if this vehicle was properly diagnosed. After some back and forth he acknowledged that since the RHO wasn't throwing a CEL, they had nothing to go on - plus it's the first RHO at your dealership according to my service advisor. He said they could open a STAR (?) case but they would need more time with the vehicle. Again, it's baffling to me that he had possession of my vehicle to diagnose the issue, but was ready to hand the keys back to me instead of just proactively opening a case. I posted my experience on the message forums and was immediately greeted by folks willing to help out. They recommended another dealership in central Texas. I went there this morning and within 15 minutes they were already updating the PCM based on a recent service bulletin and started their diagnostic process. This was excellent service by folks that truly wanted to resolve my issue and provide a great experience. Overall, I will not be back, nor would I recommend Nyle Maxwell for service. read more

My Jeep was serviced with pitting in a new sensor in the front. I paid a premium having it serviced at dealership. It worked for 3 days before I had to bring it back in. Did so again, and it worked for 2 days this time. Called again and no loaners avail for months on end, which is hard for a single person with kids. They needed vehicle for a week minimum. Called several more times and each time they could not find a loaner, despite it being under warrantee. Now it's no longer under warrantee. I should have just bitten the bullet, but thought since the service guy said it won't be a problem lm to wait until I didn't need my car for a week to bring it in. Went to buy a Ram 2022 for 32000 with a trade of a 2016 Ram . Sales person comes back with numbers that make no sense and is insane. The price went from 32000 to 48000, and would only give us 8000 for our trade. They are not only insane , but they are thieves. Because they would turn around and sell our 2016 with 110000 miles for 30000. I do not recommend this dealership for anyone. We were just truly blown away with the insanity of it . read more

The service department is excellent. That is one of the main reasons I will keep trading with Nyle Maxwell. I decided recently to update my to a new Mini Van. This review is for the service department. I've done a couple oil changes with them and despite making an online appointment it's taken 2-3 hours each time. The first time they provided a free oil change but the second time they did not. The third time I came in was for electrical service because my check engine light kept coming on for some software update on the car. I arrived at the address the appointment confirmation sent me to and was told they do not perform that service, I have to go to their research blvd location. I drove over there and it's extremely hard to find because it's an old Audi dealership that I'm assuming they are converting but there are literally no signs saying so and no people. I finally found Roger at the garage and he said he isn't aware of any appointments but he would take a look and see if he could do something which is nice of him. The bottom line here is their service department is extremely lacking in organization, professionalism and customer service. I hate having to use their service department but have to because I only bought this car in January and want to make sure they check my warranties for anything they should be on the hook for. It's unfortunate because the car buying experience was actually great. Whoever is in charge of the service department please fix these issues. read more

Tldr: Great experience with the Nyle Maxwell Jeep dealer and General Manager, body shop is questionable at best but I have faith the dealer will force the collision center to operate on a decent level. I reached out to the Nyle Maxwell dealer due to a bad experience with their body shop. The general manager Michael Wilson very promptly responded in his off hours (weekend evening) to my complaint email. I never complain about stuff, I mean seriously it takes a lot to get me to that point. Their body shop was that bad. Their management did not resolve any issue from start to finish. But thankfully the dealer had it together. Our car was fixed on the first available business day and given back to us in perfect working order. They really did turn around an impossibly bad experience and because of this, I would recommend anyone purchase cars from them. I plan to buy a new Grand Cherokee from them in 2025.
