Stopped by for breakfast based on a local recommendation. Since my friend and I were going to the city we ordered breakfast for pick up. Worked out great since we could eat on the train. This bagel shop is very close to my job. I stop by here sometimes in the morning, on the days I am in the office. This place is very convenient for me. They have great bagels, too. My go to orders I enjoy are an everything bagel with cream cheese & a bacon egg and cheese sandwich. Both of these sandwiches are delicious. Their bagels just taste great. The different cream cheese flavors are a nice touch to try out as well. And the bacon, egg, and cheese sandwitch really hits the spot. I would just like to start off by saying that they know their service is trash. It seems to be the only local bagel shop in the area so they are busy by default. When I got my sausage egg and cheese, I am halfway through the entire thing when the top of my bagel falls off, I see a curly strands of hair in my sandwich laying right on my egg. My mother ordered a medium coffee and they had the audacity to hand her a cold coffee when she took a sip and realized it was cold and handed it back to the man. He said "oh I know." Then after my mom asked for a refund he's gonna look at her and say oh I can put it in the microwave. How about no? This is just the beginning of the terrible trip at O-bagel. nobody should eat here and nobody should settle for less if this is the things that are going on at O hell no bagel & deli. Honestly the food itself wasn't too bad but the place itself is kinda gross. You walk in and it looks like they haven't cleaned in months. I thought for sure there'd be something wrong with my food. I got a bacon egg and cheese on a cinnamon raisin bagel and it was pretty good. Not enough egg on it for my taste but it was fine. The hashbrowns were really soggy though. If you need a crusty bagel with a fluffy interior o-bagel got it. My partner knows I'll take a drive for a bagel. You know it's perfect when you don't need to toast it and your jaw isn't going to unhinge from chewing. He ordered a sausage, bacon, egg and cheese which surprisedly wasn't too greasy or bulky. I opted for a simple cinnamon raisin with cream cheese and a banana walnut muffin. I typically like my muffins toasted but even at room temp it wasn't dry. Service was cordial despite all the negative reviews. Cashier cracked a nice joke and was welcoming to patrons who came in. Seems to have a lot of locals as was able to call off orders and and attend customers. Masks and hair nets were not worn, but it's a bagel spot so no biggie for me. read more

I will never go here again. On one occasion I had been waiting five minutes to order and the person taking orders immediately addressed a white business suit dressed man as soon as he walked in before me. I'm an attorney by the way, just dressed casually at that time. Even he had to say I believe she was here before me. No worries, honest mistake. This morning I ordered wheat toast with two fried eggs and a hash brown. Sandwich came up and I asked for the hash brown. The person at the register asked those cooking and the person on the stove said it's in the sandwich. I said " in the sandwich? I didn't want it in the sandwich I wanted it on the side" and the person on the stove loudly said in Spanish which I understood "she wasn't specific!". I kindly said to the lady at the register "I wasn't specific? I just won't come here again" No apology, no offer to fix it or even an offer an additional hash brown on the side like I wanted. Just a lot of dirty looks and huffing and puffing from the woman on the stove who was clearly irritated I didn't specify I didn't want the hash brown on the sandwich. Oh AND the bread wasn't toasted as asked. Really ruined my morning. Never again. read more

Waited 20 minutes for two bagels. After asking what we're waiting for they said certain bagels are an up charge and they had to charge us more. The guy at the front counter had an attitude like we were suppose to know certain bagels were a certain price when no prices are listed for the bagels. $9 for 2 bagels is outrageous. It's 85 degrees outside and it was so hot inside it was cooler outside. If I was an employee I would call OSHA as temperature would be unsafe to work in during the current heat waves. I would not recommend. The bagels were awful and stale. You can tell they don't clean the cutting boards because my French toast bagel bottom was covered in poppy and sesame seeds. read more

The food is fine, albeit the bagels were on the small side. Service is horrible. Some don't understand English, others can be rude, and they got my order wrong- twice. Also, the bill was 8 dollars for a sandwich, and I gave them a twenty. I got eleven dollars back. Either they can't count or they intentionally cheated me. Ambiance? Zero How are they in business? I have been here at least a dozen times over the past couple years. The bagels are always very good and even when they are busy they get the food out pretty quick. However, the customer service is just awful. Usually the same guy is there every time at the register (I assume he is the owner or manager) and he is usually very rude to the customers but even worse to his staff in front of the customers. I have witnessed this multiple times. The last visit they put butter on my wife's bagel when she wanted cream cheese. When we brought it back in he yelled at the girl who made it and started screaming at her in Spanish. Not sure what he said but she seemed completely embarrassed. This poor girl who just made a little mistake didn't deserve that especially in front of customers. He also seemed mad at me for "complaining" and gave me an attitude as well. We went back the following weekend and believe it or not the order was messed up again the but we were afraid the guy would start yelling again so we just kept the wrong order. I still gave it 2 stars because their bagels are good but I don't think I will be back. read more

Best place for Bagels in the morning and Best place for hot/cold sandwiches and Salads for Lunch in the area. I visit them when I work out of Warren area. They've standard fare of options of any deli. The store gets busy and a bit chaotic during rush hour and on weekends so do not expect to get in and out quickly. Good quality food, with and occasional attitude. I recommend calling in your order if you already know what you want- otherwise expect to wait at least 15 minutes. FYI. This is mainly a takeout place. However, they do have couple of tables outside. read more

Love this bagel place! I've been going here for years and I wanted to keep this place to myself but seeing them grow and just how good the food is I had to share my experience. Usually I call and order ahead in order to avoid the busy lines. There's tons of people so make sure you try to plan ahead if you can during the morning rush. They have limited seating near the window inside but do have some outdoor seating which is nice during the summer. I will continue to go to this place for years to come. I have two favorite bagel places, and O'bagel is one of them. The bagels are just perfect and don't even need any topping. If you like topping, the lox is excellent, and so are the flavored cream cheeses. My favorite is the strawberry cream cheese on a cinnamon raisin bagel. If someone brings bagels into work, I can tell after one bite if they are from O'Bagel or another place. These are superior bagels! read more

Omg! Followed the crowd to this awesome joint! The owner was crazy nice and his staff was pretty nice, too. Fresh homemade bagels in every flavor your little heart could dream of. Oh the spreads! Heavenly flavors of spreads. I had the garlic bagel with lox spread and medium coffee. Son had egg and cheese on croissant freshly made to order. Hubby had egg bagel with egg and cheese freshly made to order. Daughter had a cinnamon raisin with plain cream cheese. The portions were huge and extremely filling. I have been wanting a bagel with lox made fresh for so long while hubby had been searching for an egg bagel. They took care of the both of us in one meal. Food was made quick and accurate while providing great customer service. They have a huge variety of grill food like burgers, too. They are rude, condescending and give you a strong feeling that they're doing you a favor by taking your money. The guy at the register takes the cake, 0 people skills and is just plain rude while not caring that he is. The prices= highest in NJ. Central and north jersey have the best bagels in America. There are hundreds of options. None of them charge 6 dollars for a bacon(barely any), egg(1 egg, maybe) and no cheese bagel. A bagel is 1 dollar, add almost 4 more for a specialty cream cheese. It costs 3 dollars to get a half pound of cream cheese anywhere else, over here, it gets you a smear on a bagel. Overall, the bagels are fine. Wife and I came here today after a medical appointment. Inside is a little small, you can lean up against the window if you'd like to stay, other than that it looks like a nice to go bagel joint. I had their French toast bagel and it was amazing! One of the best French toast bagels that I have ever had. I had vegetable cream cheese. I went a little crazy I know! Combination was actually delicious! The veggies were chunky and fresh! Wife had a cinnamon raisin bagel with extra cream cheese. She said that she really enjoyed it. She is pretty particular about her bagels... Her bagel spot in the area closed a while back, and she doesn't like any of the local ones! She said shed be back if we were in the area again. Their selection of bagels was a little smaller than I anticipated, but they did have 7 or 8 cream cheese flavors! I also got an Iced Coffee. I am a little disappointed that they only had 1 size, but the coffee was very good! Most places use Maxwell house or something like that, but they definitely had something a lot better than that! They had a crumb cake and a Valentines day cookie at checkout. The Crumb was soooo good!!!!!! I have not had the chance to try the cookie yet, but visually it looks really good! I like the young kids who work there but the manager is not training them well. They glove one hand not two and They eat in full view and use that hand to slice smoked salmon. Gross. True at both locations (Gillette and Badking Ridge). From what others posted, seems the issue is the mean nasty owner. He probably paid fir them to come to the US and treats them like slaves. Bagels are fabulous and the smoked salmon was too but...until they are cleaner zI am done. BTW a friend of mine filed a complaint against them re: cleanliness and food safety.
