Ate most if it before i remembered to take a photo!
Monica M.

Came in on a whim to buy a sweet something to bring to my friends house and I was so pleasantly surprised! I was sad there wasn't a whole foods in vicinity because i usually get desserts from their bakery out of convenience - so when O cafe popped up - i perked up! Very cute divey breakfast spot with pies and cakes in display cases - one that rotates and the simple ones found in fancy bakeries. Service was quick - especially since they have separate line for "to go" purchases. Got the fruit tart pie and it was yummy! So glad this bakery was in a location midway to my friends house - my friends asked me where the tart was from because it was so yummy! I would definitely come back to do a breakfast or buy more yummy desserts for a gathering since I have both friends and family in these neighborhoods!

Matcha latte
Gurpreet K.

Such a lovely café with a warm, welcoming vibe. I ordered the matcha latte and it was incredibly smooth--well balanced, not bitter, and clearly made with quality matcha. You can tell care goes into how the drinks are prepared. A great spot to relax, enjoy a thoughtfully made beverage, and take a little break from the day. Definitely coming back for another matcha.

Carrot cake 3in slice.

Service is really wonderful. The ambiance is okay - it's a small place without a ton of seating options especially if you make it in during any of the times you would want café foods. The carrot cake is probably the best carrot cake I've had in the area - perfectly spongy with a stunning carrot flavor perfectly balanced by warm spices and just the right amount of frosting. The almond pear tart base is overly dense and lacks enough sugar or flavor to impart any kind of flavor and ends up just being a bland, dense paste. The filling is alright, heavily relying on the almond paste flavor that you almost lose the pear flavor. The drinks are average, and in a blind taste between their drinks and my homemade attempts I don't think I could differentiate.

Oak cake and almond croissant

This is located in the fair oaks village. This is such a gem. I love the old town ambiance and the feeling of home cooked meal and bakery. They have an amazing selection of bake goods from cookies, pastries, cakes and pies. The sandwiches, soup and salads are so fresh and prepared to perfection. The service is absolutely amazing and they are attentive to your needs. I know where I can go for a quick great coffee and pastry next time.

Duck burger - personally, felt it was too dry.

Update after sampling several other dishes SERVICE: counter style, fast AMBIANCE: really cozy, perfect for single diners FLAVORS: Ham and cheese croissant (4/5) - I'm a saucy person so I'd prefer more but that's subjective Sausage friand (3.5/5) - the sauce is intact inside the pastry so it makes for a messy and uneven combination when you try to compose a bite Quiche Lorraine (5/5) - does have strong herbal notes and caramelized onions so beware if that's not your jam PORTIONS: tasteful and moderate PRICE: appropriate Bonus tip: can get quite loud because of acoustics depending on crowd size

When I initially called was told it was apple. Close-up of one. You tell me, fresh apple or moldy carrot?
Brittany E.

Can't believe this business would serve moldy food. This is a slice of carrot cake I got to-go. When I got home and took a few bites I noticed all the green in the cake (yes, after the bites uuugh) I called and told them, but they said it was apple. I honestly couldn't believe they'd serve something like this since I had gone there a few other times. Sure the service isn't the best, but I like to support local businesses. When I got off the phone, I dug through to see if it was apple (although, I completely knew it wasn't) and sure enough all the carrot slices were moldy. I tried calling them back but they picked up the phone and hung up. Not sure if that is a coincidence or if they screened my call. So, I wrote them a message on Instagram and sent the pictures. No response at all. I won't return. Sad because like I said, I enjoy supporting local businesses. I can overlook crappy customer service to a certain extent, but moldy food? Definitely not. Now, I seriously question the freshness and quality of their food...and the ethics of their business. You couldn't even acknowledge this? Ridiculous. Since the owner wants to double-down on this being apple, I wanted to add that I've had the carrot cake here before. It never looked like this. Everyone knows the color of apple...this ain't it LOL!

Raspberry scone
Neikan M.

Very cute cafe. Service was excellent and there are so many options for foods and drinks (it's actually quite overwhelming). The coffee was delightful, and the raspberry scone was soft and moist. But the star of the show - ham and cheese croissant (with scrambled egg added). This was delicious; I don't know what the sauce was (some sort of gravy) but it made the sandwich fantastic. I will definitely be back

This spot is becoming one of our regulars. Great food and pastry options, fun to go with a group of people.

We didn't actually didn't get to dine or enjoy any food items as the kitchen closes 2 1/2 hours before the actual café closes which is not listed on their online presence. Only the bakery items in the case were available. Inside the restaurant, the decor is very eclectic. Will try again at another time.

Breakfast burrito

A Parisian-themed cafe. We have been here a few times to pick up pastries to go. Our family's favorite is the berry scone. The almond croissant is good too! Today we decided to try their breakfast offerings. We ordered the breakfast burrito and the avocado toast with eggs. The burrito was good. The toast was not what I had expected. See photo. It is more like have salsa and guacamole served with bread sticks. The "guacamole" was too salty for my preference. I don't recommend the avocado toast. Would go back for their pastries and perhaps try some of the European desserts.

Wow... this place is an experience and I'm not sure how I didn't know it was here!! The pastries are beautiful and delicious... the breakfasts are unmatched in the US... and it was so hade to choose pastries we shared 3... the atmosphere is down to earth yet eclectic... with fine art on the walls... handwritten menus, and the Eiffel Tower... the staff and potentially owner are passionate about what they make and sell... the food was very quick and oh so delicious!!

Spring galette - made with buckwheat GF

I was not a fan of their buckwheat crepe but I did like their salmon quiche. They have indoor and outdoor seating. We have stopped at this place twice after kayaking lake natoma. Parking and outdoor seating is limited.

I came during a busy hour which wasn't idea but didn't affect anything in regard to the taste of what I got! Typically I like to find a spot that's quietly busy so if you're wanting to do the same I would try to come when it's less busy as I found myself slightly overstimulated by the business and seeing all the seats filled up which otherwise is a good sign! The Banana Dream Match caught my eye so I ordered it immediately along with an Avocado toast + egg ( extra cost). They give you a buzzer for the food and you have to find a corner to wait in that's out of the way and pick your food up by the kitchen. The vibe was very open and I liked the different seating options as well as the abundance of outlets. I ended up eating outside to get away from the busyness and the I was in the middle of talking when the taste of the Banana hit me. The best. Banana matcha I've ever had. Which I didn't expect because I've tried so many but what I loved most is that the banana flavor was sweet but tasted like real banana and the matcha flavor was still present. The banana flavor wasn't just at the top either it was top to bottom so every sip tasted the same making it soooo good!! The Avocado toast was good as well a little on the tangy side but I loved the egg. Great spot when it's less busy which would make parking easier as well but glad I stopped in to find my new favorite matcha spot.

I got the village veggie, with no cream cheese, but thinking back.. that would probably even make the sandwich more epic, it hit all the right spots. It was flavorful and delivered very well. - my buddy got some kind of chicken sandwich that he said was amazing as well. I also got a coffee and that was tasty, they use Java City, nothing special in my eyes, but I get it. Iced mocha is my go-to drink when I'm not sure what to order because it's typically hard to mess up. This iced mocha was literally undrinkable, it was like they were trying to mix hot chocolate powder into cold milk. Took the first sip, got a little milk stopped by a chunk of powder (see pic). Took the straw out thinking that would help, but the next sip tasted like chunky, powdery milk. Tried stirring it up more with the straw, took another sip, more powder stuck in the straw. I ended up throwing the whole thing in the trash. My husband thought his iced vanilla latte was decent, but he's not picky at all so for him to not say it was "good" is pretty wild. The person who took our order was very nice, but we could hardly hear her/she could hardly hear us because the music was blasting. Not a huge deal, but it was pretty annoying having to repeat ourselves/asking her to repeat herself just to order two coffees. Such a bummer that this is what ended up here. I will not be back.

I liked my lavender iced latte and like the fact that they serve it in a large mug if you plan to drink it at the cafe, it had that extra, comforting touch that I love when hanging at a coffee shop. There's another room on the left side of the cafe but I didn't have a chance to check it out since we left to get lunch at Belly. If you are looking for wonderful pictures, wonderful ambience, then this place is totally worth the visit. However if you are looking to eat delicious food, then this place is definitely not it. Their crepes are premade and after visiting them 2 times, the only thing I think they are doing is reheating and serving them. First time we went in, we ordered the Ricotta Crepes. These came in looking beautiful but they were extremely hot on one side and cold (almost from a refrigerator) on other side. Clearly precooked & refrigerated but then microwaved and the whipped cream and fruit compote was added on top. Next time, the same crepe was at least warm overall but the chicken mushroom crepe definitely was reheated in a pan. Coffees are pretty basic as well.
