I was able to get a happy hour discount on my drink, and I chose a Zen Garden which is a jasmine milk tea with matcha layered on top, and I added lychee jelly and sea salt foam as well. This was yummy, and a nice big cup size for an iced drink. Also got a card for BOGO Drink 50% off on my next visit. I have my eye on the Banana Matcha, the VIP Vietnamese Imperial Pandan, or the Sampaguita Milk Tea. Neat to learn that the owners are Hmong and Filipino, and they also have events like the Run Club, Car Meet, and even Karaoke Night!

I came up to him today with a cup of tea, and he asked if I could get him a cup of coffee. I said sure, it's 2 dollars that I can spend on someone in a similar situation that I have been in myself before. I came out with a cup of coffee for him, he was standing by the bar down the street. He requested milk and sugar. I didn't want to touch the cup he was holding so I said okay. The girl at the register was happy to give me an extra cup for milk and sugar. I filled it and was cornered when I was exiting. She was fuming, flustered saying that refills aren't free. How dare I take free refills from the shop before. I apologetically expressed I can pay for a second cup of coffee. She didn't back down. She verbally berated me in front of EVERYONE and it was an awful experience. I've been homeless myself but I've never looked it. This is unacceptable behavior and very ableist. I will still come by, but I wanted to warn others that this place is very discriminatory against the disabled homeless population and I do not want to be a part of this kind of energy.

When I went up to order the tea after my meal, I had to say "hello?" three different times before somebody finally came to the counter. Then, it almost took another 10 minutes to get my tea.
