I imagine he's more used to in-office customers. My walking group of 6 came in and sorta overwhelmed this tiny cafe that when we were there, was a one-man operation. He did a good job of juggling all the roles he had to play in making turkey sandwiches and grilling fresh hamburger patties just outside. The hamburger I had was good. Not too big or anything. Just the right sized servings. It tasted like a homemade burger. He took care to toast the buns on a panini grill and had tomato and pickle slices on top. The seating inside is just one table with 4 chair, however...! Outside is a beautiful shaded patio area with a beautiful waterfall. It was a perfect quiet lunch spot for our group. (Lots of shaded parking, too!). There's only one entrance to the building that is unlocked, so if you parked on the wrong side, you'll have to walk around. It's a simple, limited sandwich menu. If that's what fits you needs, then I recommend this little secret spot. Especially if you like sitting outside with a waterfall.

When we went, there was a nice gentleman working the cafe. The menu is small, but that's ok as long as what they do, they do well. And let me tell you.. the breakfast bagel was tasty!! The everything bagel was soft and just the right amount of chewy. And the egg was scrambled and oh so fluffy. And the bacon pieces were mixed in with the fluffy eggs, so you got bacon in every bite. And with the cheese.. just a perfect Sammy! My moms a picky eater. But she ate the whole Sammy in one sitting and loved every bite. Spoke volumes. Will be back when in the area again!

After the group run, we all met back to enjoy a drink together! This is a super cute little boba shop, with really cool local art, decor but even a piano and books if you want to hang out. I was able to get a happy hour discount on my drink, and I chose a Zen Garden which is a jasmine milk tea with matcha layered on top, and I added lychee jelly and sea salt foam as well. This was yummy, and a nice big cup size for an iced drink. Also got a card for BOGO Drink 50% off on my next visit. I have my eye on the Banana Matcha, the VIP Vietnamese Imperial Pandan, or the Sampaguita Milk Tea. Neat to learn that the owners are Hmong and Filipino, and they also have events like the Run Club, Car Meet, and even Karaoke Night!

I prefer my matcha more bitter umami flavor. It felt it was water downed, not even too milky. Came again for the 2nd time and the inside was completely redecorated! Had lots of character & personality. It was giving very cozy vintage coffee shop. Hung around, did some work, & enjoyed an Earl Grey Matcha. This time their cups are half the size now for the same price as before. Flavor... same thing.... watered down. Heard another customer who came in ask for more matcha. Didn't know that's a thing so I may need to ask for that next time I come back. The large cups they served the matcha in before I saw it is used for their refresher drinks. The boy working at the cashier. He seems nice but might want to work on the customer service skills. No greeting but did let me know to ask if I had questions. He was probably shy. As for the owner, it seems he is involved with the community, which is awesome!!

Has that feeling.. ya know?!? Service was fast and friendly, everything was super fresh, made to order and solid portions. I got the village veggie, with no cream cheese, but thinking back.. that would probably even make the sandwich more epic, it hit all the right spots. It was flavorful and delivered very well. - my buddy got some kind of chicken sandwich that he said was amazing as well. I also got a coffee and that was tasty, they use Java City, nothing special in my eyes, but I get it. It's a longtime staple. - I didn't even get to touch the desserts this time!!, that will be my mission next visit, along with trying something else... from roaming local roosters to just a really beautiful hangout, definitely this place is worth checking out. They're open 7 AM to 6 PM so I'd say you have really no excuse other than to go get that bomb deli sandwich!

As someone who is bipolar and been homeless before, I always pass along my leftovers to one of the homeless that hangs out in the park. I came up to him today with a cup of tea, and he asked if I could get him a cup of coffee. I said sure, it's 2 dollars that I can spend on someone in a similar situation that I have been in myself before. I came out with a cup of coffee for him, he was standing by the bar down the street. He requested milk and sugar. I didn't want to touch the cup he was holding so I said okay. The girl at the register was happy to give me an extra cup for milk and sugar. I filled it and was cornered when I was exiting. She was fuming, flustered saying that refills aren't free. How dare I take free refills from the shop before. I apologetically expressed I can pay for a second cup of coffee. She didn't back down. She verbally berated me in front of EVERYONE and it was an awful experience. I've been homeless myself but I've never looked it. This is unacceptable behavior and very ableist. I will still come by, but I wanted to warn others that this place is very discriminatory against the disabled homeless population and I do not want to be a part of this kind of energy.

I picked up my drink across where I ordered and then I picked up my food from a separate place when the device they gave me buzzed. What I ordered: * Chia seed pudding $7 - coconut chia seed pudding with coconut flakes, strawberry jam, and granola. Generously stuffed into a round container. Delicious. Inspires me to make chia seed pudding at home. * Hot earl grey creme tea $4 - I added honey. Perfect balance of citrus and black tea flavors. Came in a big paper cup, but had the option of having it in a tea pot and pouring it myself. Note they have a card surcharge of 2.9%. I was able to find a comfy seat with a round table. There were a lot of people but still enough seating and not too loud inside. The music was relaxing. Loved all the natural light and cozy, earthy vibes. For fellow matcha lovers, I saw a sign they use Mizuba matcha. It was already late afternoon and I had a matcha latte earlier so I chose not to get a matcha latte. If I'm around the area and come back soon though, I'd love to try their seasonal summer offering of the coconut matcha cloud. They also had a pastry case next to the register. The savory items sounded great too, so there's lots of items I'm interested in trying from here. Would recommend if you're looking for a nice, spacious cafe to relax or do some work!

I go in, nothing fancy, but the place is clean, and the people were friendly. I didn't know what it is when I walked in, but it's Filipino food! I love Filipino food. I decided to start with the chicken inasal. Grilled chicken with Filipino, spices, vinegar, lemongrass, and rice. He asked me if I would like the vinegar on the side, and I said yes. I put about half of the vinegar on my food, and it was perfect. The chicken was moist, tender, and flavorful, the lemongrass was just the right texture, and I the rice. I think it was Jasmine Rice. I'm not positive, , but it did have a good flavor. I only made it through half the Dish and the other half came home for dinner. I wanted to try one of their teas, so I tried the pandan milk tea with Boba pearls , and it was very good. It had a nutty, slightly vanilla flavor, and there was a little bit of a coconut taste to it too. He asked me what I wanted for my level of sweetness. Since I hadn't had it before, I asked him to suggest, and he said it try it with 75% sweetness. It was perfect. The price for everything were reasonable. The only reason I'm taking off a star, was because of the service. There was only one other person in the restaurant, and it took almost 20 minutes to get my main dish. When I went up to order the tea after my meal, I had to say "hello?" three different times before somebody finally came to the counter. Then, it almost took another 10 minutes to get my tea. The lady did apologize, but 10 minutes? The food is so good, I will definitely come back. I want to try those Ube and cheese lumpia Now those sound good. Next time, I will see if they could do phone orders... They are on DoorDash, but of course, DoorDash charges extra to take out their "cut". I will be back. Thank you.
