I imagine he's more used to in-office customers. My walking group of 6 came in and sorta overwhelmed this tiny cafe that when we were there, was a one-man operation. He did a good job of juggling all the roles he had to play in making turkey sandwiches and grilling fresh hamburger patties just outside. The hamburger I had was good. Not too big or anything. Just the right sized servings. It tasted like a homemade burger. He took care to toast the buns on a panini grill and had tomato and pickle slices on top. The seating inside is just one table with 4 chair, however...! Outside is a beautiful shaded patio area with a beautiful waterfall. It was a perfect quiet lunch spot for our group. (Lots of shaded parking, too!). There's only one entrance to the building that is unlocked, so if you parked on the wrong side, you'll have to walk around. It's a simple, limited sandwich menu. If that's what fits you needs, then I recommend this little secret spot. Especially if you like sitting outside with a waterfall.

When we went, there was a nice gentleman working the cafe. The menu is small, but that's ok as long as what they do, they do well. And let me tell you.. the breakfast bagel was tasty!! The everything bagel was soft and just the right amount of chewy. And the egg was scrambled and oh so fluffy. And the bacon pieces were mixed in with the fluffy eggs, so you got bacon in every bite. And with the cheese.. just a perfect Sammy! My moms a picky eater. But she ate the whole Sammy in one sitting and loved every bite. Spoke volumes. Will be back when in the area again!

Has that feeling.. ya know?!? Service was fast and friendly, everything was super fresh, made to order and solid portions. I got the village veggie, with no cream cheese, but thinking back.. that would probably even make the sandwich more epic, it hit all the right spots. It was flavorful and delivered very well. - my buddy got some kind of chicken sandwich that he said was amazing as well. I also got a coffee and that was tasty, they use Java City, nothing special in my eyes, but I get it. It's a longtime staple. - I didn't even get to touch the desserts this time!!, that will be my mission next visit, along with trying something else... from roaming local roosters to just a really beautiful hangout, definitely this place is worth checking out. They're open 7 AM to 6 PM so I'd say you have really no excuse other than to go get that bomb deli sandwich!

Poured myself some dark roast from the carafe and right away I could smell something unpleasant. Thinking it was just something in the air, I walked outside and met my friend to sit. As I started to take my first sip I realized - oh that terrible smell is my coffee! I tried a sip and verified this was bad and not drinkable. My friend also tried to take a sip and she couldn't. I walked in and shared with the barista that something was wrong with the coffee. I couldn't drink it. She just looked at me funny and said, "what do you mean?" She offered another cup and I told her- I wanted a refund this coffee was unsinkable. She didn't see to believe me and I said I wanted her and the team to know because it wasn't like I didn't like the taste. This was more of a health hazard to me and I was concerned it could make someone sick. She gave me the refund which was good. At no point did she say they were sorry. She's didn't apologize or validate my concern that the coffee was terrible. She and her team (three of them) all looked at me and said "well we make each batch th same." I gave up and just said. I thought you should know because this is not something you should serve.

I came during a busy hour which wasn't idea but didn't affect anything in regard to the taste of what I got! Typically I like to find a spot that's quietly busy so if you're wanting to do the same I would try to come when it's less busy as I found myself slightly overstimulated by the business and seeing all the seats filled up which otherwise is a good sign! The Banana Dream Match caught my eye so I ordered it immediately along with an Avocado toast + egg ( extra cost). They give you a buzzer for the food and you have to find a corner to wait in that's out of the way and pick your food up by the kitchen. The vibe was very open and I liked the different seating options as well as the abundance of outlets. I ended up eating outside to get away from the busyness and the I was in the middle of talking when the taste of the Banana hit me. The best. Banana matcha I've ever had. Which I didn't expect because I've tried so many but what I loved most is that the banana flavor was sweet but tasted like real banana and the matcha flavor was still present. The banana flavor wasn't just at the top either it was top to bottom so every sip tasted the same making it soooo good!! The Avocado toast was good as well a little on the tangy side but I loved the egg. Great spot when it's less busy which would make parking easier as well but glad I stopped in to find my new favorite matcha spot.

I finally stopped by after picking up something small at Chick Fil A next door. When I pulled up into the drive thru, there was a sign that said that the speaker was currently not working so had to go up to the drive thru window to order. Luckily there was no line when I was there! I pulled up to the drive thru window and initially ordered an Iced Vanilla Matcha. Unfortunately, they were out of matcha so I ended up going with my usual second choice drink which was an Iced Vanilla Chai. I also asked for light ice so it's not too much ice. The drink was made pretty quick so I didn't have to wait too long. I took a sip and was very pleased with their Vanilla Chai drink given it was my first time trying a drink from here! You can definitely taste the chai which was subtle and the vanilla sweetener made it even better. Will definitely try this place again to see how their Vanilla Matcha is! Luckily there's another location near my office building where I work so might give it a try there next time. Although I do love the drive-thru only concept when on-the-go!

4estea Hits the Spot with Halo Halo and Longsilog Bowl…read more Stopped by 4estea and left impressed. This cozy spot nails Filipino flavors with a fun twist. The Halo Halo is outstanding--layered with sweet beans, fruits, jellies, ube ice cream, leche flan, and crunchy pinipig. Refreshing, not too sweet, and packed with perfect textures in every bite. One of the best I've had. Paired perfectly with the Longsilog bowl: flavorful sweet longanisa sausage over garlic rice with sunny-side-up eggs. Hearty portion, bold yet balanced flavors, and super satisfying. Friendly service, fair prices, and generous portions. If you're craving authentic-yet-elevated Filipino eats in the Rancho Cordova area, 4estea delivers. Highly recommend--5/5! I'll be back soon.

It's a bit out of the way for me, but well worth it if you're in the area or passing through. There's plenty of parking in their lot and there were other businesses in the plaza. I was greeted right away and the team here was really friendly. There were some items that weren't available, but they let me know about some favorites and specials. I wanted to order everything but ended up getting the Longsilog ($16.99), Palabok ($14.98), Pork Lumpia ($6.49), Golden Calamansi drink ($6.88), Muscat Verde drink ($6.68), and the Turon Matcha Latte ($11.32). It took a but for everything to be ready, but they packed it up nicely for my to-go order and I was on my way. The food didn't make it far, I had to try the lumpia right away while it was fresh and crispy and it was delicious. Exactly what I'm looking for in pork lumpia. I would order this anytime I visit. Once I got to my destination I tried the rest of the items. For some reason the straws did not want to puncture the plastic lids on the drinks so I had to puncture it with my keys- it was a bit comical trying to puncture the drink top with the straw and just destroying the straws... luckily I managed in the end. The drinks were very refreshing and perfect for our hot summer days. I gifted the Turon Matcha Latte to someone else who said it was sweet but good. I liked the Longsilog a lot, the sausages were delicious, juicy with a hint of sweetness, and the eggs were perfectly cooked. I wish the rice had a stronger garlic flavor- it's one of my favorite parts of the filipino plate meals. The Pancit Palabok was tasty and I liked the shrimp and eggs on top. After trying this though, I think I prefer Pancit Bihon, although the sauciness of the palabok would be great when you're looking for something savory and comforting. I'll definitely continue exploring the menu and I'm excited for my next visit.
