I'm giving this place five stars for the service. Ashley the bartender is amazing! She was working the last two times my husband and I stopped in for a quick close by dinner on a weeknight. She remembered us the second time which is always nice. She suggested food and when she heard me say I like sauces she brought out a few different kinds to try with my chicken. She insisted on this. She is super friendly and makes great bartender conversation. Oh, the food is good too. The rolls they serve are delicious and makes it have less of a chain feel. The fried green tomatoes are pretty amazing considering we are not down south, and I've had real southern fried green tomatoes. We will continue to go back and hope to have Ashley at the bar every time. read more

I went here with my family while having to wait two hours for a movie to start at Rave Motion Pictures. We all ordered hamburgers and fries and the food was great. The place was really clean and nice. The waitress we had was very friendly and my son really liked talking with her. Every time she came to check on us my son had to start a conversation with her and he's only five but she didn't mind and made him laugh every time. I would go here again in the future with my family, my experience was great. read more

Not all sit-down chain restaurants are bad. I'm not some hippy screaming from the top of my ivory tower about how corporations can eat a bag. Some chains though, such as this demon spawn, deal in sadness and despair. A few buddies and I decided to go paint the town red (no, we just decided to get dinner, which in color terms, is probably a tan or off white). One of my buddies had a $25 gift card to O'Charley's which he knew he was going to have to use eventually. He apologized numerous times about us having to go here, but he said he would use the gift card on appetizers for the table. I am a disgusting food monster, so the majority of the apps were eaten by me because I have no shame. Unfortunately, the apps arrived a whole 2 minutes before our actual entrees. The apps probably came out at the same time as our entrees but the waitress could only bring out so much food at one time because her hands were full (from us ordering a disgusting amount of food). Anyway, this was unacceptable, but because I don't know how to talk to pretty women, I didn't say anything to our waitress. We just had to deal with it. As far as my main meal, I got a Wild West Burger, which I ordered because if it is good enough for Will Smith, it is good enough for me. Unfortunately, this was not a great line of thinking, as Will Smith's choices in projects have been very suspect as of late (much like my choice in main entrees). I think they put one onion straw on this burg, and I couldn't even taste the chipotle horseradish or whatever was supposed to be the dressing. Along with my baby handful of soggy french fries, this was a meal fit for a prisoner of Guantanamo Bay. I'm going to give this place 2 stars though. One, they use nice sturdy glasses for their water, and two, they had a guy specifically to bring us an extra napkin when we asked the waitress for one. I mean, I think it was the guys only job....napkin runner. He was there specifically to run extra napkins to tables. This is awesome and a total waste of corporate money by O'Charley's. That man's yearly salary could go to a CEO's vacation fund. Overall, the waitress was good, the food was what you would expect from this place (not very good), and they totally messed up the timing in how food is supposed to go out to a table (which is to be expected from a place like this). 2 stars and may God have mercy on their soul! read more

Disappointed...again:-( Mrs. and my plan was to go out for a nice low-key meal. I suggested O'Charley's, which has been hit or miss for us in the past, with more hits than misses. Unfortunately our last (maybe final) visit was a big miss. Things started promisingly. We sat in the bar and the bartender took our order. She seemed to be carefully writing everything down in our very simple clearly stated order. This was the high point of our dining experience. After some time, the meals arrived before our salads, which had been forgotten. My meal had the wrong meat prepared rare instead of medium well. My wife thought I was too stern in communicating to the bartender and manager about the situation, she was in tears. To the credit of the manager and bartender, they apologized effusively and offered to prepare our meals anew. But we had been there quite a while and just wanted to be done with the place. They then gave us the meals we originally received. It would be different if this had been the only time this had happened to us, but it was not. Management and staff do not seem to learn from mistakes. The experience was rated as one star only because there was not a lower selection. read more

It was pretty good. I like how they updated their look. But I'm only giving a 4 star because they took off my favorite appetizer, which was the tater tots and cheese dip. Those were so good! Also, the buns seem smaller, and don't taste as good as they usually do. But our waiter was great! read more

Visited 1.15.15. Server was Jessica W. She did OK for the most part, until about time to leave. We gave her our debit card along with a partially used gift card. A bit later she came back with our bill & said she could take it when we were ready. Like, where was our debit card...? Guess she forgot & left it in the kitchen. In this day & age, that really bothers me a lot. I guess it still bothers me she was so careless with it. Then at the end of the meal I had told her I would like a peach pie to go. A short while later she comes out with just a pc of peach pie. Apparently listening to customers wasn't important to her. I do speak plainly..! So I would only rate her as average & in this day & age I think customers expect more than average. The food is always good, hubby loves the potato soup & I've never had to complain, either, on the food. The delivery of food seemed to take a long time, considering it was after 1PM on a Thursday, not that busy at all. No explanation why it took so long..? We only had soup & sandwiches..! Geez..!!! We will return again when in town, but feel the wait staff needs a bit more training..?? read more

HORRIBLE service. We sat down at table #30 last night shortly after 5pm. They were not busy at all. We sat at our table for 15 minutes without a single person stopping to wait on us even though we had at least 6 employees walk right by us. Absolutely Horrible service. We got up and told the person at the hostess desk what happened and they acted like it was no big deal so we just left. We WILL NOT go back. read more
