Second, once the mistake was caught, the order was not expedited. Instead of rushing it to the front of the line, we sat there and watched 6 more bowls of soup go out to other tables before hers finally arrived another 20 minutes later. It felt as though, because it was a kid's meal, it wasn't considered a priority. When a kitchen forgets a dish, leaving someone sitting without food while everyone else eats, that dish needs to be pushed through immediately. Third, when the check arrived, the restaurant made no attempt to make the situation right even though the server could tell we were not happy. They didn't even comp the $9 bowl of kids ramen(or offer a free dessert to my daughter for making her wait if they didn't want to comp the $9), which is the bare minimum standard for service recovery after delaying a meal due to their own error. I still appreciate the quality of the food here, but the front-of-house training and service recovery processes need serious attention.
