Customer service. The first young man was helping me replace my missing screw for the licence plate but I had to move my car closer, when I returned he was helping someone else. The next guy didn't try to help. He offered a tool so I could check what screw I needed. I've been here before many times and had good service but not today. I won't bother coming here again. The right turn light was out. Dealer was going to charge $65 to change the light bulb (do you hear the joke of how many people to change the light bulb)? Okay, back to the topic. I called around to see about pricing. Talking to several people: Letty, Manager; Williams, Assistant Manager; Rebecca and Jesse, clerks. These ladies change the light bulb - saving me the money and time of the dealership. Listen up folks, funds are tight and we need to save where you can. This store did not charge me to put in the light, they just did it. They have a sale on wiper blades - we know it will be raining soon. Take advantage of the sale and free help. He went above and beyond in helping me figure out my car problem and even manually screwed in the bolts to my backseat since the problem with my car was located underneath, all while in the hot sun. great staff ! helpful ! thank you Daniel for your help !! now the 5qt syntheic oil (not cheap) has a new container design. when i poured the oil out (like every time throughout my life !) the oil ran along the side and pour off of the bottom of the container basically spilling oil all over my engine compartment and down inside of it ! i tried a couple different approaches and they all spilt oil all over ! Daniel recommended that i pour it from the side (new technique for me) this worked but now i wasted $$. the whole new design is clearly meant to sell more oil ! pathetic ! i will never shop here again ! and now i know the new scam !!!!! they dont even put an arrow to recommend you pour it from the side. wonderful. i wasted oil, made a toxic spill in the parking lot, got oil all inside of my engine compartment where i cannot clean it up from now, and paid even more $ than your average buyer because fully synthetic oil is recommended for my car. I came to this location for a battery check and Yesenia who helped me with it has no people skills at all. I said hello after waiting 10 minutes outside and she gave me no reply then she just said i had a bad battery and walked away with out suggesting any of her batteries i was just surprised by the customer service i got. I have been coming to these location for about 15 years and never felt so disrespected before. Its very easy for us as customer to just go to another auto parts store. But i really hope that this girl gets put in her place. The worse part is that even her co worker complaint about her saying that shes rude and a bitch to them too. read more

I come here about once or twice a week, but recently I went for a paint match can and they didn't have it. No problem they'll order it and have it for me next morning. I come back next afternoon to give them a little extra time and they couldn't find my order. I stood around for nearly thirty minutes watching one of the associates look for my order. Then they told me to come back at five in the afternoon same day. So I call at five just to make sure I didn't waste my time going back there just in case they didn't have it. They told me yes, the can of paint came in. So I go to the store and the same guy can't find my order even though I called ahead of time to make sure they had my order. What a waste of time. From now on I'll just stick to the autozone down the street. I've never left there empty handed. read more

I was looking for a generic radiator overflow bottle kit for my buddies '67 Chevelle. I stopped by "another" auto parts store looking for one and the guy starts trying to look it up for a specific car. "No, I'm looking for a... gen-er-ic... overflow kit! After going back and forth he finally said "We don't carry anything like that" Hmm... OK then! I get to my buddies house and call 3 other auto parts stores asking for the same. Once I called O'Reilly's they confidently said "Yeah, we've got 2 sizes, large and small." "Awesome, I'll be right over!" As I walk in, the guy at the counter points me down the back wall and bingo! Probably one of the better auto parts chain stores in the country right now. A bit more professional than the boys at Pep, and waaay better than AZ. They have a good wholesale program for repair shops. I use them to spot buy certain supplies when needed like NAO! Only reasons I don't buy more aren't their fault; I buy most of my parts wholesale from the same company they buy them, and their store is across town. I'm not sure about the quality of some of their on-the-shelf parts, but they should be able to special order you anything you need. O'reilly stores everywhere have really saved my bacon when buying distant used cars and motorhomes on the weekend. They had the belts I needed and didn't bat an eye when I came in after dark covered with grease streaks and dirt and pebbles and twigs ground into my back. Yayyyy O'Reilly! I was really shocked that the mgr would not help me change a fuse for my windshield wipers. He repeatedly told the employees..we do it out of courtesy but if u don't think you can do it no. I called and went to AutoZone and Pep boys trying to purchase a battery for my car and Oreilly's prices for my battery were the best . When I went to AutoZone in Bellflower the girl in the counter seemed annoyed and wasn't very helpful nor did she offer options , same as Pep boys . However when I called Oreilly's they confirmed the price and said they would be able to install it on my lunch break. This is probably the best customer Service I have recieved from a worker (his name is Rich). I came to buy a wind shield wiper and to get 50% off coupons for six flag tickets. However, they did not have the coupons at the particular store so instead (without asking) he called up three different stores near by to see if they had them. What a rip off, I went to Autozone early to check if my battery was good and they told me that I just needed to charge my battery but I didn't have time to charge it right away so I went to my nearest O'reilly to me an hour later and after two hours of supposedly charging my old battery they told me that that the battery was no good, but they told me that they had good deals on new batteries. So I went back to Autozone and they rechecked and charge it. This is the last straw for me, I'm not coming back here anymore, I only gave them a star because I couldn't give them no star. read more

AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING!! If you really want to get advice from professional and experienced people this place is the place for it! I went to two autozones (hoping the second could give me better advice than the first) to buy new headlights. I wanted some really nice ones (close to HIDS) and not one of them could give me great advice. They told me that sylvania was a good brand but I told them I read reviews that the bulb lets out after a few and none of the stores could give me good advice for anything. Thankfully a customer at an autozone I was in told me about this O'reilleys, and that if I wanted great advice (and HIDS) that this was the palace for it! I went and they helped me out so much! I put in the order for the lights (they are so nice!!) and the guy was kind enough to even help install them in for free even after his shift!! THESE GUYS KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING!! Highly recommend this place! My dad always told me to go to O'reilly's in general and not auto zone and now I know why, cause they know best! Shout out to Eddie, thanks a bunch for your help! Called this place to see if they would price match an oil filter with autozone they said yes, I told the person on the phone are you sure I don't want to waste my time going there, and he said yes we price match, I went in grabbed a gallon of rotella t6 oil and went to the clerk counter so they can input my vehicle information for the oil filter, clerk retrieved the oil filter and rang me up and I told him about the oil filter price match, but he ended up turning me down on the price match and he was rude about it so I turn down the transaction and walked away I will never be going here again autozone has better customer service and they price match the rotella t6 oil because it was more expensive then orielly with no questions ask read more

My car battery died this evening. And my little brother ended up borrowing a pair of jumper cables to jumpstart my car. O'reillys was still opened past 8:30pm...and so I called the shop and spoke with tony, who told me that I could come right in and that they'd change my battery on the spot. I rushed over to the shop and was immediately helped by the performance technician, Alex. He managed to check and gauge how much battery life I had left in my old battery. After finding out that my battery was almost completely depleted, he proceeded to remove my old battery and replaced it with a new battery. Service was quick and the transaction was easy. Truly appreciate this O'Reillys team in assisting with my battery change. As a female consumer, I had no idea how to change a battery or check diagnostics.
