I had a sleeping baby in the car and couldn't see more than a few feet in front of the car with the snow, but I managed to get to this store. I ran in and explained about the sleeping baby and what I needed. They rang me up quickly, and came out and replaced my wipers for me in the parking lot. What a lifesaver these guys were! They said they were performing a "special service" that was recommended and that I included a list of things not asked for and I'm my conversation with Tim - not mentioned. I expressly requested an oil change only for the time being, till we'd had time to explore what she would elect to do maybe sooner or later. The issue is this, they didn't communicate to me in the phone call, what all they would be doing (other than the oil change). They then do what i can only assume is taking advantage of a young woman's naivety (?) and do what I'd consider stuffing the bill to up the list of work. Needless to say, their practice in this matter is very unfortunate - and after so many years of good service I will no longer be using their services. Buyer beware.

Luis went out to my car and was able to easily access the burnt out brake light, Ester came with and watched as Luis explained things to her - he was a great teacher. I was afraid I was going to have to play the "helpless woman" card and ask them to change the battery for me, but he tested it first to verify the battery needed to be replaced, showed me my options without pushing me toward one or the other and then just went right out to change it. Took about 15 minutes total from when I got there, including a little extra thing he said he has to do anytime he changes a battery. And, unlike everything else these days, they don't ask for a tip when you check out, although you would think they could/would since they do actually perform a service for you.
