Also, they have to be the ONLY parts store with NO loaner tools. I had a dead battery and after a jump start drove to this store. After spending $100 on a new battery they proceeded to tell me they don't loan tools. They wouldn't even give me a pair of pliers or offer to help install it. I had to dig in the trunk to find an old pair of pliers which promptly stripped out the nut on the battery terminal. I refuse to shop at this store.

First and foremost, the cost of additional services they recommended after doing the original work, were much more costly compared to just a cursory look online by about 15-20%. Of course, they have every right to charge whatever they choose. I can live with this and in fact am using another mechanic who is going to do the work for almost half. But the real crux the issue was when they dropped off my vehicle, and after they departed, I texted and asked they move the the vehicle to the front of my home, instead they parked in front of my neighbor's home. This wouldn't be a big deal except I can drive it due to a dead battery. They responded with "We are already on the way to do other work we have. That is as close as we could get to where we could reach our tools without blocking traffic." This is an excuse because when they came to pick it up in the original position, there was concern about traffic other issue regarding the location. The had no problem working on in its original location so it made no sense that would be an issue upon returning it. More egregiously than all of this is when they appeared to get irritated with me and made this comment: "There was not a truck parked in front of they way yesterday. Have a nice day!" The exclamation point is snarky and rude and moreover the truck they implied an issue today was also there yesterday and besides truck is in front of a neighbor's house. Moreover, they drove my vehicle to my home today and regardless of anything else could have easily just parked in front of my home. I'm sure this company does good work and this is just my experience, but I rarely give critical feedback unless someone gets testy with me and that is the single reason I'm writing this review.

Went to pick up an order and called the store number like the email said and no one answered. I…read morewent inside and they wouldn't release the order to me because I wasn't listed as an alternate pick up person. I would totally understand, but I showed them the confirmation email that my boss had sent me and even offered to call him to verify. They implied that was a criminal committing fraud and that my boss would have to call a separate customer service hotline to change the order. It took 2 days to resolve this. I went to pick up the order today and received no apologies or offer to load the heavy items into my vehicle. You can't expect good customer service anymore, especially at O'Reilly's. Terrible. We will not ever use O'Reilly's as a vendor ever again.

These guys are a good. They've saved me several times when it comes to starter and alternator…read morerepair. If you have a unique issue, they can solve your problem. On one occasion, they rebuilt my old generator on my classic Ford pickup, and even built a modern one wire alternator so I would have option B. The cost for both was the price of just doing the Ford generator at another shop. Nice.
