Associate was courteous, said they had one for us and to come on up they'd get it installed in a few minutes. Sounded great. Once there though, it was a bit of a mess. They sold us a battery but then figured out they misplaced the tools to do the install. Sent us to the O'Fallon Autozone with the uninstalled battery and apologies. When we arrived there, we learned they sold us the wrong battery too. Luckily the O'Fallon store was a bit more on top of things and got everything fixed for us pretty quickly. Given the experience at the Fairview Heights store, probably won't return.

I did not purchase my vehicle from this location but its the closest one to me, so I brought Kia in for a diagnostics due to a knocking noise from the engine. It was recommend that my engine getting replaced due to a broken rod inside. I am out of my Kia warranty however I do have an extended warranty. Since my warranty company had to send out their own inspector, Kia had to stay for a few days. Joe arranged a rental for me and kept me updated on the status. Advising me what was needed for the inspector and making copies of Kia's maintenance records. I ended up having to pay for the diagnostics ($180.00) due to my claim being denied. After speaking again with Joe and Kevin (service manager) they both were very helpful on what I needed to appeal the claim. I have been back and forth to Kia over the last 3 months dealing with this, finally getting my claim approved. Joe again made sure to keep me updated on the status Kia's repair. They were more then helpful and Kia got her engine replaced and is running smoothy. At the end of the day.. I will return for any repairs and when looking to purchase Kia a new sibling, spouse or friend.

Within my contractually guaranteed 7-day return window, an independent multi-point inspection revealed a failing alternator, a bad battery an alignment issue. I contacted my sales consultant, Joshua, immediately to see if management would utilize their internal service department to address these electrical components to save the transaction. The dealership completely ignored my messages for days, hoping the clock would run out on my 7-day return policy. Only after I explicitly stated I was preparing to return the vehicle did I finally get a response. The used car manager's solution? They completely ignored the failing alternator and alignment issues, and offered the "goodwill gesture" of selling me a replacement battery at their cost. Shifting the financial burden onto a loyal repeat customer for a failing charging system during a trial window is an insulting way to do business. I declined their offer, kept the vehicle because the core engine is solid, and will be paying my local mechanic to fix it. They have officially lost a loyal customer's future business.

I drive an older Volvo, and resetting the oil change maintenance light is sometimes a bit tricky to figure out. Blake attempted to reset mine and said he wasn't sure how, but he immediately took out his phone and looked up a YouTube video to learn. Seriously so courteous!! I told him that I could play around with it when I got home because I didn't want to waste his time, especially while they were so busy. But I'm so grateful for his willingness to help! There's a reason no other places do this. It's absurd. Add that on with the scummy 90 day extra charge warranty you're opted into automatically, the "environmental fee," etc and it's cheaper just to buy a new part online than deal with this joke of a company. That and they started mixing all of the cars together instead of sorting by brand, making browsing a huge pain. Clearly LKQ is run by people with business degrees but lack of common sense. I pull parts for a living so I'm at junkyards multiple times a week. Any of the other local options are better. This place is my last resort.
