Remember to take pictures of your car before they get your car key, they left a scratch on my car and refused to fix it, they would leave a common/note and made it look like they didn't make the damage, so you have to take pictures of your vehicle before they take care of your car. Every time I come here they say 1-1 1/2 hours. And it's always a minimum 2 hours. That's a lot of time for an oil change. One of the workers even admits that the crew lags and talks a lot. Step it up management. read more

I have never written a review before, however, after the service I received Memorial Day weekend, I felt that it was well deserved! Assistant Manager Jose, Letti and Tony were absolutely amazing! I came in late one afternoon, before closing, and was trying to get an oil change and two new tires. Considering that they stop taking cars for the day, they still agreed to change my oil. After taking a look at my tires, Jose said my safety was their number 1 priority and made time to change my tires and rotate them, as well. Jose the assistant manager is amazing !!! Came in on a Saturday, and was super helpful, polite and patience ! He was amazing and was very thorough. My battery was under warranty and he helped me replace it without having me wait in line. Even walking in the door the staff member was beyond helpful, the battery was super heavy and they helped me carry it in and out to my car. I've never experienced this kind of service before with such happy staff members ! The guy who helped ring me up was also very nice ! As someone whose always busy for a weekend and didn't have to wait in line AND had first hand service, I was so happy and excited ! Definitely the best service ever received! I needed an oil change and also needed my tires rotated. I arrived early (Wal-Mart in Brea) at 730am and there was one car ahead of me...yay! I explained to the mechanic Juan, while he was writing up my work order, that I needed an oil change and my tires rotated. The oil change was no problem but I needed to have an appointment for everything else and there was a car already scheduled for 8am. The next available opening was 9am same day...alright no problem I'll wait. I had my cell phone and my coffee with me I'll be ok Walking into the auto department I found out the customer waiting lounge no longer existed... what the #%€! There was 2 chairs against the wall and across the room another 2 chairs...no tv to watch nor coffee maker like before. Great...NOT! I settled myself onto a chair and waited... Juan came back to me with a few questions about which oil type I preferred and was soon back to work in the auto bays. There were 2 mechanics working their tails off Juan and Jose, one was bringing in a set of 4 tires into the auto bay, then running in and ringing up customers then back outside to the auto bays. Briefly there was a guy from the Fishing licensing dept answering the phones and then he was gone. Other customers came in and waited... I then explained they needed to ring the bell for service...good luck! Meanwhile I got up and looked around for an air filter for the car. Juan came back within the hour with my keys and explained that the work was done and he had already paged for another person ring me up. I explained I still needed the tires rotated.. to my astonishment they went ahead and took care of that while the car was there in the auto bay! WOW Amazing! I was ecstatic and really surprised. Well.. Jose ended up ringing me up anyways and I soon found out the air filter I was buying was the wrong one. He soon found the correct item and told to me to ask Jose if he would just put it in for me before I leave. Amazingly he did! I was very happy! He explained that replacing a dirty air filter improves performance and saves gas...nice to know! I was and am totally impressed!! The auto mechanics really work very hard and they need a dedicated cashier helper so that they can do their work without interruptions. This would have been 5 stars but with NO CUSTOMER WAITING LOUNGE to wait in while my car is being serviced so it's a 4 star review. *There really needs to be a lounge because the wait can be very long and the idea of walking around shopping sounds good but the reality is auto work is expensive and I can't shop in case there's a problem they find. My take away is 1. Arrive EARLY 2. Appt required for auto work before arriving 3. Bring coffee and prepare to wait 4. There's no place to plug your cell phone into while waiting on a chair against the Wall read more

Extremely unsatisfied with the help we received today. I went in with my dad to help him translate and he was hoping to get some help to buy new tires and as well as some advice for their tire service. Apparently the guy at register at the auto center had zero interest in helping us buy anything or recomiendo anything at all. I went to this Walmart location to rotate tires and was told that it would take two hours. I was taken care of and didn't have to stay at the service center the whole time. So that's a plus. They charged $10 for tire rotation and rates for other services are very economical. But I had to shop for two hours in the store. Frankly it feels like waste of time but their rates are cheaper than other places. I can give more stars if they didn't take so long for a service. I bought tires from Walmart.com and scheduled installation. I received 2 notices that the tires were ready and arrived at my appointment where it was verified again that the order had arrived. 1 hour later I was contacted and told that only 2 of the 4 tires arrived and they had no idea where the remainder of the order was located. The "service member" then told me I had to call Walmart.com to find out where the remainder of the order was and offered no additional help or answers. I attempted to contact walmart.com and faced a 1 hour wait time. I processed a refund request on the app and received notice to complete the refund request at the store. When I arrived at the store I was told the refund could not be completed without the product and had to contact walmart.com. The "Coach" Armando who then came to see what the issue was, told me to calm down, I had to call Walmart and have the refund issued. I showed him 5 times the confirmation to go into a store to receive my refund for the incomplete order before he realized that he could scan the barcode and process the refund. He then looked at me and said "see wasn't that easy" I am appalled at the lack of customer service. They may have had better prices but totally not worth the lack of respect that customers are shown. I admit I raised my voice but if the associate would have said "let me get a manager to process this" instead of telling me I had to call and give me the run around, I would have been calmer with the situation. read more

I've been coming to this auto center for years with mostly neutral experiences. Very basic customer service and sometimes long wait times but very affordable prices on tires and oil changes. So, I call to see what is the latest I can bring my car in for an oil change and I was told 6pm would be the latest. Okay, so I repeat and confirm and said "sorry, I just want to be completely sure because I have been told similarly in the past and when I get there I am told that it's backed up." The lady on the phone then starts raising her voice. I then asked for her name and she hangs up on me. I call back and said"I asked you for your name, now I want to talk to your manager. The "manager" gets on the line and I explain what happened. His response was that they are really busy today and they are short staffed, and they have been dealing with payroll issues.....Okay, it sounds like I got handed the phone to one of the people who stocks items on shelves and runs away from you when you try to ask questions. Unbelievable! So, basically no customer is going to get good service because people don't like their jobs. So I guess I'm supposed to join the Boycott Walmart group because they treat employees horribly even though they still continue to work there and be miserable. Unreal! read more

My tire went completely flat on that day and I brought the car to Walmart late late afternoon. The store was overbooked and crazy busy. The guy Tony still managed to help me picking up the right tool and showed me how to get the tire patched up. Totally saves the day. Thumbs up and I will recommend this store to anyone. My brake light wasn't working. I had to wait a while but that's okay, no complaints, they were short staffed. When they were finally able to get to me, I bought the light bulb, they installed it, no charge, and sent me on my way. That means a lot to me because I don't make that much money. Tire prices are always great and they showed me the different options i had for my car and offered me a warranty incase anything happens to the tires i bought . Scheduled a tire installation. Took 35 mins before they could get to my truck. Best part is when I drop my truck off employees comments that if anyone else complains about how slow they are he "would put a nail in the tire where it can't be fixed!" How lovely! Then once it was in the bay took over 2 hours to install 4 tires! Checked in around a hour in. No workers near my truck. No one worked on my truck for 20 mins I was standing there. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME! Truly ridiculous staff, no sense of customer service. They had no one managing the line. so everyone was confused. I didn't even get checked in at my car so I had to walk in. Once I give my keys up, I leave. They brought my car into the bay then 15 minutes later they call saying they don't have the filter!!! Why would someone take a car to service and not check if they have the right equipment. They said to buy my own and I can come back so I rush back to get my car (was still in bay) and then go to an auto car shop to buy the filter. the filter I bought was $13, I asked if I get my oil change service at a discount since I'm supplying the filter and they said NO! they said the most they can do is apply a $2.35 credit. Bad enough, when I come back I have to be written up again and 3 cars are in line and they said I would have to wait in line (1.5 hours) AGAIN! when originally I was told I'd get to be taken next if I come right back with a filter! Wait time is unacceptable for an oil change. Stopped by on Saturday, Sunday and Monday (twice). At least 4 cars in line each time. Finally I decided to wait in line on Monday at noon there were 4 cars a head of me and only one person working. Waited 30 min to be asked the check in questions but no one showed up. I went inside and asked for someone to check me in. The only person who was working (plus talking with 2 other when I went inside) came out and said it takes 3hr to 3:30. I just pulled out and will never go there any more. It looks like the associates just want to drag the work to finish the day. They are also very short staffed. Took my car in for tires. I was there at 7:05 AM, car wasn't ready until 9:00 AM. There was only 1 car ahead of us. When we pulled up the service writer did not greet us, he asked my name, i spelled it for him...he spelled my 1st and last name wrong. The color of my car is silver, he put in Gold. When i asked him about the quote i receivwd the day before he did not acknowledge me or my question. When my husband walked out, our car was up on the lift, and all the Service people were standing around chatting about there night. The young lady that processed the paperwork was super friendly and nice, however I will NEVER buy tires there again. read more

Shoutout to managers Jose and Spencer. Spencer provided excellent customer service over the phone, and Jose finished with that same service in store. My wife's tires needed repair and although we had purchased a road hazard warranty for them, we were outside of 1 year from purchase date. My wife went in with no appointment and Jose worked some magic in the computer and was able to get us 2 new tires replaced for practically free. They have gained life long customers. I would not recommend getting an oil change here. They have a staff problem and the service is terrible. I came in yesterday for an oil change at 5:30pm and waited for someone to help me only to be told he was the only guy working all day. I had my son on his day off work take my car in for me and waited almost 3 hours. He kept asking if the car was ready yet and continued waiting only to find out it had been ready for over an hour! Understandably he was livid. He stated he'd rather take my car somewhere and pay extra than for me to go back in this service center. Their customer service is VERY poor! read more
