I was very happy with the service I received at Discount Tire. The staff was friendly, helpful, and completed the work in a timely manner. The only reason I'm not giving a perfect review is because I was surprised that no service reminder sticker was placed on my windshield. At every other place I've had my vehicle serviced, I've always received a sticker indicating when to return for my next tire rotation or service. I actually had to go back and ask when I should come in next. I was then told to return in 7,000 miles, which seemed different from the 3,000-mile reminders I'm used to seeing. It would have been helpful to receive a sticker or written reminder so I wouldn't have to ask or try to remember on my own. Overall, I appreciate the great customer service, but adding a service reminder sticker would make the experience even better. read more

Pluses: I was able to make an appointment and was seen right away. I live near by and was able to walk back home. They called when it was ready for pick up. So ive been coming here for awhile and most of the time their service is pretty good. Today though was five stars. I dropped off my tesla model y for an alignment and it was super quick (their alignment policy is well worth the investment) this is my fourth one so far in a year and a few months. Every time i have come and gotten an alignment the service is reasonably fast. This time it was exceptionally fast. From the time I dropped it off and until it was ready was less than an hour. For a tesla this is very fast because you have to take a panel off to do the alignment. They always give the alignment paperwork that shows what they did. I would absolutely recommend discount tire center. The value for their alignment policy is out of this world. read more

Scheduled and went in for tire rotation on 5/15 and had a bad experience. Scheduled a tire rotation appointment and then they told me it'd cost $40 ($10/tire Lol) because the tires weren't purchased from them. Also told me there's a 2 hour wait for tire rotation, what's the point of making a appointment. Also done tire rotation for free before same circumstance, looks like they pick and choose when they want to start charging for rotations, waste of time. read more

ABSOLUTELY DO NOT COME HERE!! I came in for a simple tire repair after calling and speaking to Sam. Over the phone he informed me that tire repairs are complimentary, however after coming in he told me that tire repairs are $25 and the only way to waive that fee is to write a positive Yelp review. He quoted me 1 hour but the whole appointment took 2.25 hours for a tire patch on a nail. After 1.5 hours he told me that my TPMS was broken on my tire, and that I needed a new one. Puzzled because it WAS NOT broken when I took it in, I asked him about it and he was insistent on it already being broken when it was in fact not when I took it in. He tried to gaslight me saying that it broke when I drove it flat when I never drove it on a flat. He just kept saying it was already broken and was incredibly defensive. He then told me that I needed to pay $100+ to get a new one. Feeling unsafe and uncomfortable about the situation, I decided to leave and go elsewhere judging by his shady behavior. My TMPS was working perfectly when I took it into the shop, and it was a big shock when he tried to gaslight me saying "it was already broken when I took the tire off." This was incredibly strange because he did not do the work, his employee was the one who did it. He gave me my car back and I discovered that they did not put my valve stem cap back on. After telling him, he said they "lost" my original tire valve stem and gave me a cheap plastic one they took off of another tire. I ended up spending another two hours at a different shop to get a new TPMS. Shady shady place! They don't even have a corporate phone number on their website and are apparently not in affiliation with Discount Tire, they're a completely different spinoff company "Discount Tire & Service Center." read more

I've been coming discount tire service center for over a year now and my experiences have always been downhill. But gave them another chance but I should have ran by the first time it's that bad. In the year n a half they have gone through 3 managers(Kristian, Tom,Sam) changes only one mechanic(jose) from the original employees still remains. You know there's something wrong when employees keep dropping like flies. Well from day one Nolan (sales representative) over charged me but kristian cardenas reimbursed me the difference. I came in for an issue with my car. When going on a steep uphill vehicle smells like burnt rubber. I was advised by mechanic crew that I would have to change serpentine belt which I did but the I had to come back because it still had the same issue with the new belt. Then I was advised that since they could not replicate the issue nothing could be done but yet money was not reimbursed for unnecessary expenses. Then Martin advised me that he would prorate a new set of tires since my tires had worn down at 35k but they stated that the would last up to 65k miles. On day I didn't have the money but came back 2 weeks later and Sam would not honor the warranty plus Martin started to be unprofessional n rude towards me. I filed complaints on both Sam and Martin regarding separate incidents but I have yet to hear back from corporate. It's really unfortunate that management at the location is unprofessional and will lose my business. Think twice before coming here and there's a reason why they try to sell their bogo on tires. Sam succeeded where another tire shop failed. Another local shop couldn't find the source of my leak, but Sam could and fixed it at no cost. A week before stopping by here, I brought in my car to a different local tire shop a week before coming in. My car was giving me low pressure warnings on one of my tires for a month prior. I kept having to refill the air every week. The other shop claimed they physically inspected and even dunked the whole tire in a water tank and could not find the source of the leak. It continued to leak for the following week. I was convinced to try another tire shop and brought my car to Sam at Discount Tire in Brea. I did not mention that I had already brought it to another tire shop. After they took off the tire they did not have any issue locating the nail that was causing the leak. It wasn't even mentioned to be any sort of challenge or issue. I would absolutely bring my car back to Sam and this location. They clearly know what they're doing and offer great service. read more

Augustine was super nice and helpful when I dropped off my car -- the process was fast, and they called me as soon as it was ready. What kind of service is that and they were not even at the front desk when I was there, they were jerking off together with the other employee inside the office messing around in the service area. I always trust Sam with my car. He has a great attitude and is friendly and understanding of my concerns. Sam really knows cars and explains complex things in a simple way. I took my car here for new tires, brakes and a full 60K service. I had an appointment scheduled for 11 AM and arrived right on time. I was informed that the work would take 2 hours, but after 2.5 hours, I was told that I needed an alignment, which would take another hour. In the end, my car was finally ready after 4 hours. I don't understand the point of having an appointment when it took half a day to get 4 new tires and an alignment. Urgency is important, and customers with appointments should have priority, rather than being treated like walk-ins. read more

They had no customers asked if they could patch my wheel or I would've but they said before they looked at it that I would set something up and pick it up tomorrow. My car's dash said low tire pressure and sure enough, I saw there was a nail in the front right tire. I asked Siri for nearby tire shops and I was a half mile away from this place and I didn't want to risk driving too far with a nail in the tire, so I decided to stop in to see if they could do a quick patch. They were really busy, but Tom took the time to take a look at it and he gave me a time that the car could be ready by. I decided to wait since I was already there. They finished at pretty much the time Tom said it would be done. I didn't mind too much because he didn't charge me for the patch and the air conditioned waiting room with leather chairs was pretty comfortable. No complaint about the patch job. It did the job. Even though Tom was really busy and running around doing a lot of things, I appreciate how friendly and helpful he was. read more
