I made an appointment online for 2:00pm on a Tuesday. When I got there, I learned that they were a bit backed up and it would take between 1.5 and 2 hours. I understand how things like that can happen, but I didn't want to wait that long so I asked when might be a better time, and they said at 8:00am I'd most likely be at the front of the line, so I arranged to be there the following morning. Sure enough, the alignment only took about 30 mins. Tony gave me a printout of the measurements before and after for my car so I could see exactly what had been done in terms of camber, caster, toe, etc. for each wheel. Honestly, whoever is in charge of their customer service training needs a promotion. From the second I walked in, every employee I interacted with was incredibly polite and professional. They all wear sharp polos with their name clearly marked. Refreshing was that there is no sketchiness or feeling like there was a catch. They did offer a tire warranty, which I skipped for one of my cars. But I actually bought it for my EV since electric cars are nail magnets, and I'm already at the break-even point after just one claim. There was no high-pressure upselling at all. They thoroughly explained every cost detail, and when I brought in a competitor's online quote, they matched the out-of-the-door price with zero hassle. The waiting lobby is actually nice to sit in, too. Plenty of space, workstations, free Wi-Fi, coffee, and water. Plus, the location is easy to get to right off the freeway. Service is fast, especially compared to Costco where you basically have to leave your car for the entire day. You also get free rotations and flat fixes. They have a sign on the wall from the founder, Bruce T. Halle, about being honest, working hard, and paying it forward. There were no cars behind me, and the location didn't appear to be particularly busy. Despite that, the employees working inside completely ignored me. They were too busy singing along to music and goofing around to acknowledge that a customer was waiting for service. Eventually, someone told me, "My guys are busy right now, but we will help you," while walking away. When I pointed out that they seemed more busy messing around than actually helping customers, someone finally came over. Once someone did help, they filled my tires to the PSI I requested, so I appreciate that part. I had just driven back from the desert after off-roading and needed to adjust my tire pressure. I could have done it myself at home, but having a tire shop handle it was simply more convenient. Unfortunately, the experience wasn't worth the hassle. To make matters worse, the employee who helped us forgot to put the valve stem caps back on my rear tires. I didn't notice until I got home, so now I'm having to purchase replacements for something that should have been put back on my truck in the first place. It's frustrating because this could have been such a simple interaction. Acknowledge the customer, provide the requested service, and make sure everything is put back together before they leave. Instead, I was ignored while employees joked around, and then the job wasn't even completed properly. For a business that specializes in tires, I expect better attention to detail and much better customer service.

Firestone Brake Service Review…read more I recently had my vehicle serviced at the Firestone location on Imperial Highway in Brea, California, where I had a complete brake job performed on all four wheels. Unfortunately, just a few days after the service, my wife noticed a rattling noise coming from the front-left wheel. I brought the vehicle back to Firestone to have it inspected, and the technicians determined that a bolt was missing from one of the brake calipers on the front-left side. This was the source of the rattling and, in my opinion, represents a serious safety concern. Additionally, the technicians discovered that the lower front-end cover had not been properly bolted back into place and was hanging underneath the vehicle. For work involving a vehicle's braking system, I expect a much higher level of attention to detail and quality control. Having a missing caliper bolt and an unsecured underbody cover after a brake service is unacceptable and could have potentially resulted in a dangerous situation. I would strongly encourage anyone having work done here to carefully inspect their vehicle and double-check that everything has been properly secured before leaving the shop. While the issue was eventually identified, the quality of the initial work was concerning, particularly given that it involved a critical safety component of the vehicle.

I have been driving for over 30 years and have never once experienced a shop completely omitting a vital engine part for a simple oil change--until now. The Incident: Before this incident even occurred, I had opened a Firestone credit card and started moving all of my family's vehicles to this location because of the excellent customer service provided by the store manager, Brian. I was an established, loyal customer. That trust was shattered when I brought one of my cars for a simple oil change in August 2025. Months later in May 2026, I had another facility perform the subsequent oil change and they discovered that Firestone had completely left out the oil filter element. My vehicle was driven for a few thousand miles with absolutely zero oil filtration, cycling road grit and abrasive contaminants directly through the engine block. And now has a loud engine noise. The Local Response (The Good): When I discovered the error and contacted the shop, Brian was incredibly sympathetic and professional. He took immediate accountability, explicitly promised me a full service refund, spoke directly with the staff members who messed up, and assured me that steps were being taken so this would never happen again. Brian handled a crisis with genuine integrity. The Corporate Bad Faith (The Ugly): The nightmare began when the case was handed to Bridgestone Corporate Claims because I requested an internal engine inspection and test. Dealing with them has been a masterclass in unresponsiveness and open contempt. A customer service representative actually hung up on me when I tried to complain about the missing oil filter. More shockingly, corporate actively stepped in and reneged on the refund Brian promised me. Brian later had to inform me that corporate headquarters explicitly instructed him not to provide the $90 refund. Forcing a local manager to break his word to an established, card-holding customer is deeply unethical. Corporate completely failed this relationship. The Reality: After researching this online, I realized this is a shockingly common corporate playbook for them: deny, delay, and stone-wall the customer until they get exhausted and go away. I engaged the California Bureau of Automotive Repair (BAR) which has opened a formal investigation into this facility. If you have experienced corporate negligence, cut corners, or unfair business practices, do not let them get away with it. Report a complaint with the BAR. You can easily file a complaint online. The BAR actually investigates these facilities, and it is the only way we can force corporate giants to have some accountability. Brian is a good manager, but he is trapped working for a predatory corporate system. When a company ignores a clear mistake, it feels deeply personal. It's not just about the $90 fee; it's about the fact that they essentially gaslight you, pretending a major mechanical error and negligence didn't happen while you are the one left with the anxiety. This story is not over and I'll provide an update later.

This is a franchised location, so keep that in mind when trying to exercise their 1 year 12k mile guarantee as I've been turned away from several neighboring locations and told to return specifically to this one (I get it.. everything is for profit right? Can't blame them for wanting to protect their margins but it was frustrating and just such a pain in the behind) so I would always recommend going to your nearest location. I went in for several services. New premium brakes, premium rotors, brake fluid drain and fill, cabin filter, replaced both rear shocks, oil change, and a handful of other services. I'm not one to bash a business when they corrected their mistakes so I'll just simply leave it at this. I visited a total of 4 times within 11 months of having my services done. With each visit I grew increasingly more irritated and impatient (understandably so after spending the money that I did) Ultimately, they resolved my issue. So for that, I'm leaving a 4 star review because the entire staff should not be graded off of one technician that performed sloppy work. Let's highlight the positives!
