    Ó Reilly Auto Parts in Honolulu has been my best go-to place for those difficult to find parts for older vehicles like my 91 Mitsubishi Pro Max P/U. This past weekend I had the opportunity to check out their Kailua location and was pleasantly surprised by the same friendly and professional customer service and going the extra mile to help me find an alternative to a part that was not available for a must fix job I had in progress. I believe Ryan was the Represenative that assisted me. Thankfully his attention to detail, knowledge and ability to understand my situation all made my visits a Five Star Experience. After my drive over the Pali to Kailua my escape I like to take for a slight "daycation" which my escape from adulting my oil light came on and kept flashing every time I accelerate raised my blood pressure as I realize my oil pressure seems to be dropping. On this Sunday morning they don't have many oil changing places that are open unfortunately and honestly didn't think it was necessary to visit a gas station and was happy to have found NAPA on Hekili Street which we all pretty much frequent and knowing that they have this huge lot to park was so comforting as I enter to seek help with my dilemma. OMG I completely forgot this kind gentleman who works there as he searched to find what oil would work best for my car and how much needed to fill was very nice and he did it all for me as well. Showing me the oil dipstick and how to read it was easy and good to know and once it's all filled I was good to go and for such a great price versus going to a mechanic. Self care doesn't end with me but my ride who takes me places that makes me happy and errands that keeps me going and with NAPA and their staff which definitely did a great service I'm so grateful and thankful it got me on my way. Joanna was at the counter and he gave a jumper start but I failed to ignite the car engine. so I came back to him and he came with me to the car and test the battery and found the battery was completely dead. He found the same type of battery in the store and sold it to me a new one. He told me it's easy to change the battery and he lent me the tools for change the battery. I never changed the battery by myself before so Joanna gave me guidance patiently. I changed the battery according to his guidance. and he even came to the car and help me to complete the change. Joanna is very kind and he really helped his customer who needed assistance. Thank you Joanna for your help! it is great experience with Napa Auto parts!

    We had a really really bad experience with this guy. We were looking for a FULLY electric bed for…read moreour disabled daughter of 14 years old. He advertised a fully electric hospital bed. We called him and explained why we needed a bed like that, and emphasized that we particularly needed the high-low function. We asked if everything was working properly. His answer was "yes, everything is working properly, I checked it". So we rented a trailer for $50 and went over there to buy the bed for $500. When we got home it turned out the high-low function of the bed did not work, so we called him immediately. At first he said he was willing to pay the bill for the repair. So we looked for the cheapest way to fix it. We spent many, many hours on the phone with technicians and searching the internet. It would cost around $ 300,- so we called him to tell him that. Then he wasn't so kind anymore and told us he had never said he would pay for the repair and that we had to pay for it ourselves. We said that he had said that everything worked properly, and that this was not true, so we asked if we could return the bed and if we could get reimbursed. His answer was 'no way'. When we repeated that he had said all functions of the bed were working properly, his only response was that we should take him to court and sew him, after which he hung up on us. This very unreliable and untrustworthy guy is making money on our disabled daughter's back. He should be ashamed of himself. He damages the Hawaiian people's reputation of being kind and helpful.

    We purchased a vehicle from this dealership in March and, unfortunately, the post-sale experience…read morehas been extremely frustrating. While the sales process felt professional at the time, the service afterward has been disorganized and inconsistent. We were instructed to return shortly after purchase for a safety inspection sticker, only to be told the dealership was out of stickers. What followed was multiple return visits--now totaling six trips to the dealership over approximately 10 weeks--to try and resolve basic post-sale requirements. In one instance, we arrived for a scheduled appointment at 8:45 AM and ended up waiting about four hours, only to leave without all issues resolved. We were later told to return again for the key fob issue, extending delays even further. The safety inspection sticker was eventually completed only after repeated follow-ups and significant inconvenience. However, other issues remain unresolved or unclear, including a non-functioning key fob, missing or unfulfilled promised floor mats, and confusion regarding the location of our vehicle registration at one point. Overall, the lack of coordination, repeated delays, and inconsistent communication have caused a great deal of frustration and wasted time. We expected better post-sale support and accountability. I hope the dealership improves its follow-through and customer service processes so future customers do not experience the same issues.
