Bought my dream car (2026 Toyota Land Cruiser) from Mackey (referred by friends/colleagues) and the process could not have been easier. As a lone female walking into a car dealership, it can easily get intimidating and overwhelming but I had a plan and I was going to stick to it and Mackey made me feel comfortable with zero pressure. I ended up financing through my personal bank but it didn't take away from the overall experience. Mackey was accommodating and very responsive despite how busy he is! He even texted me that my plates came in and they were able to put them on for me! As far as logistics, I live in town and I refuse to drive too far for anything but I only heard good things about this location so I decided to make the drive and I'm so glad I did. They have guest parking out front and on the side and all their cars are displayed on the lot with some inside the showroom which is AC. They have a lot of tables and chairs that you can use while you wait or discuss options. There's also a receptionist out front that you can talk to if you're lost like I was in the beginning. I haven't tried their auto services yet but I'll be updating this review once I do. All in all, I would highly recommend this place, specifically Mackey, if you are looking to get a new (or used) vehicle. Thanks again Mackey and thank you Servco Windward!

I had the best experience purchasing my 2026 Toyota Camry from Servco Toyota Windward!! The general manager (Bryson Higa) and sales specialist (Scott Bly) were extremely helpful and accommodating making the buying process smooth and stress free. I had to wait over 2 weeks for my Camry to make its way here but they kept me updated all the way through. I highly recommend the team at Servco Toyota Windward for your next car purchase! Thanks again Bryson and Scott! Really happy with my new car!

Last month I was in a bind as my 2013 Prius brakes didn't respond quickly as I stepped on it. Then the brake lights went on. This was a Wednesday afternoon. I then took my car to my friend at Goodyear who advised me the brakes needed replacement but needed to go to Toyota as they don't replace brakes for hybrids. I then drove my car to Toyota in town and my service rep confirmed the brakes needed to be replaced. Parts would have to be ordered and with labor the quote was $4500. I immediately called my BIL who knows autos very well and also agreed that I'd be better off getting a new car. For over a year I promised myself I'd get a new car after quitting my part time job but couldn't wait for that. Loving my Prius, I wanted to get another one but I understand there's an island wide backlog where the waiting period is from 9 months, depending on which model. My BIL suggested either Honda or Lexus hybrids where he made a few phone calls with both makers available. Step in my sister, who so fortunately scrolled through a Facebook post of a Prius being available for viewing on Friday here. We were going to be in the Kaneohe area, so we swung by to check if it was already there. Servco Toyota Windward (STW), one of three Servco Toyotas in Oahu, moved to this current location in 1970 on the Windward side and has been servicing this area for an impressive 50+ years. At the corner of Kamehameha Highway and Likelike Highway, STW is conveniently located and next door to Honda Windward. We arrived shortly before their closing of 6pm and were greeted by a salesperson who immediately guided us. It was the 2025 Prius Prime electric, where it wasn't what I intentionally wanted but kept an open mind assessing my options. We then checked out the car and was interested for a test drive but was advised it was too late for the day. My BIL then asked to make an appointment for tomorrow but the staff in charge was off Thursday but would return on Friday. Regardless we wanted to take a test drive Thursday and made an appointment first thing after their opening of 9am. Thursday morning we were greeted by Maui, the salesperson who posted the ad and came to work on his day off. My BIL, who is quite knowledgeable in cars fired away with questions and Maui answered them individually. We then took the Prime for a test drive, which had so much power that I'm not accustomed to. The car is sporty and not really me but I was impressed. We then took a test drive for another 2025 Prius that was a simpler model. I immediately felt the difference where this model shook more and therefore, much noisier. I really liked the color of this one, which was less expensive but I wasn't impressed. I ended up selecting the Prime, where we had a wait for the finance representative to finish the customer in front of me. I couldn't locate my car registration the night before and had planned to go to DMV at across the street Windward City Shopping Center and to my delight, for $10 (the cost to have a duplicate reissued at DMV), STW will do it for you by signing a form. Such great customer service. Closing the deal was quick as I opted no financing. I just followed instructions by checking, marking, and signing the iPad and wrote the check. While waiting, my sister and BIL made use of their refreshment bar and had coffee, where they commented it was not bad, with the exception of an aftertaste. Perhaps the machine needs cleaning? I was sad to have my Prius of 12 years traded in and left it behind as I drove my new wheels off the lot. But I'm now a proud owner of this sporty Prius that looks like a Tesla. It has many functions that I don't utilize as I'm a simple person and not into too many gadgets. I'm closing, I'm very pleased with the service extended to me from STW where I'd recommend them. Customer service exceeded my expectations and I'm still digging my new wheels where I've received a lot of positive feedback and comments from many.

Called Honda Windward to see what I needed to do. Guy was so pleasant and helpful. Took it in on the appointment day. They have a shuttle service to take customers home, so I caught that. A few hours later I got a call that my car was done, and the shuttle was on it's way. Got back to the dealership, picked up my car, and that was it. I've expected such a pleasant experience from a dealership. I will be spreading my story to all friends and family.

The paperwork/payment/ownership transfer portion took much longer than expected. I understand they were likely busy, so I tried to be patient. Hospitality-wise? Probably a 6/10. Not terrible, but once the purchase decision was made, things felt much more transactional. No beverages offered, no check-ins during the long wait -- not a huge deal, but small things matter when you're sitting there signing your financial future away. The paperwork itself was standard. No major complaints there. However, after everything was finalized and we were ready to drive off in our "new-to-us" certified preowned vehicle, we noticed a sizable dent in the driver-side C-pillar. In hindsight, I should have brought it up immediately, but at that point I felt like I had no leverage since everything was already signed and paid for. That part is on us for not catching it sooner. Still, after doing some research and speaking with people currently in the auto industry, certified preowned vehicles generally should not have cosmetic damage larger than about a quarter without disclosure or repair. I texted my salesperson the next day and didn't hear back (got a text 7 days later citing he was texting the wrong person). I eventually contacted management. Craig listened to my concerns, seemed genuine, and asked for photos of the damage. He mentioned an option to repair the dent and said he would follow up the next day. Unfortunately, I never heard back despite a follow-up email. Meanwhile, I was receiving automated texts asking me to leave a review, which honestly felt a little ironic. I replied to the text asking to be contacted via email but still have not heard anything to this date Then came another issue: the AC stopped working within the first week of ownership. I reported it immediately and was told to contact service. Fair enough -- but I live pretty far away, so being told to leave the car there all day meant missing work, rearranging schedules, and figuring out kid pickup logistics. Spending tens of thousands of dollars in cash only to immediately deal with these kinds of issues is frustrating. The AC issue has since been addressed, but while troubleshooting it, my husband discovered the cabin air filter was filthy and found a wad of napkins behind the glove box. Neither inspired confidence that the vehicle had truly been thoroughly inspected before earning certified preowned status. What made it more concerning was that the service advisor initially stated the cabin filter had already been replaced and documented in the system, only to later admit it had not been replaced and would be changed while repairing the blower motor causing the AC issue. That's really the core of my frustration. If obvious things like this were missed or inaccurately communicated, how am I supposed to feel confident everything else in the certified inspection was actually completed? At this point, I'm not expecting perfection. Cars have issues. But communication, accountability, and follow-through after the sale matter just as much as customer service before the sale. Right now, I'm still waiting for a resolution regarding the dent issue and hoping Honda Windward steps up to make this right.

While the sales process felt professional at the time, the service afterward has been disorganized and inconsistent. We were instructed to return shortly after purchase for a safety inspection sticker, only to be told the dealership was out of stickers. What followed was multiple return visits--now totaling six trips to the dealership over approximately 10 weeks--to try and resolve basic post-sale requirements. In one instance, we arrived for a scheduled appointment at 8:45 AM and ended up waiting about four hours, only to leave without all issues resolved. We were later told to return again for the key fob issue, extending delays even further. The safety inspection sticker was eventually completed only after repeated follow-ups and significant inconvenience. However, other issues remain unresolved or unclear, including a non-functioning key fob, missing or unfulfilled promised floor mats, and confusion regarding the location of our vehicle registration at one point. Overall, the lack of coordination, repeated delays, and inconsistent communication have caused a great deal of frustration and wasted time. We expected better post-sale support and accountability. I hope the dealership improves its follow-through and customer service processes so future customers do not experience the same issues.

That kind of authenticity is rare in sales, and he checked every box. He handed us the keys, told us to enjoy the test drive, and trusted us to bring it back. That level of trust earned our business before we even sat down to talk numbers. The numbers made sense, and the decision was easy. They didn't have the Tucson Hybrid Limited in stock, but we ended up with the SEL Convenience package instead. It checks all the boxes for a daily driver and is noticeably smoother and quieter than our CR-V. One thing I'd mention to anyone shopping on the island: come in with realistic expectations. The market here isn't the same as the mainland, especially for popular models like Hyundai hybrids. Supply is tighter, demand is higher, and pricing reflects that. Don't expect the same 10% discount you might see elsewhere without first understanding the local market. I came in with clear expectations and left very happy. I highly recommend Hyundai Windward. I listened to your voicemail and I appreciate how much you are trying to make things right…read more I also thank you for the offer of covering 1 car payment. Here are my thoughts.... At this point we have officially passed the 3 month mark since I signed the papers for the Van. Anytime a customer purchases a vehicle they drive off the lot and it's theirs to enjoy. The company makes money, the salesperson makes a commission and life goes on. This is where I have a Major problem. The fact that anyone has profited from me being inconvenienced for 3 months is very bothersome. It is my opinion that I should be reimbursed, totally, my $3,000 down payment. You have already offered to pay over $800 to cover a car payment, which again I appreciate, and that would leave a little over $2000 being reimbursed to me. Of course I don't know the profit margins, nor do I care much about them. All I know is that nobody, that made money off of me, has been inconvenienced, yet profited from this absolute disaster. I have attached a video I took early Wednesday AM, showing how not having a van has affected me and my business, as well as my customers. The extra amount of gas, time and labor it took me , everyday, to come back and forth for my deliveries is completely unacceptable and it also affected my business in a negative way. Because I ran out of room, I would have to go to my house and drop off laundry and then go back and pick up those that I couldn't fit. Time, labor, gas and major inconvenience was caused by Jerry V's incompetence. The offer of one car payment doesn't quite cut it. I have requested to speak to Jerry V myself and if I am not reimbursed fully for the $3,000 then I would ask that he make that decision. It's that serious to me. As a business owner, myself, I often have to compensate customers and those decisions I make personally to ensure the upmost customer satisfaction. This is why I believe the owner of that dealership should make that decision. Hopefully that makes sense? I also do appreciate the amazing offer of coming to meet me and deliver the van to me. I think that is a first class offer but I think it's best for me to come down and switch out everything myself. I'll have to move laundry and supplies from the loaner to my Van. In addition, I have to get it cleaned for you. I had my dogs in the car, because my ex wife abandoned them. I have a husky and he sheds so there is too much dog hair to return in its current condition. That's the right thing to do before I return it back to you. With that said, I will be on your side on Saturday and I can come down and switch everything out at any time. Hopefully we will not have any further delays and life can go on. I'll be available after 3 tomorrow (Friday) if you would like to discuss more over the phone. Again, I appreciate your care and concern and I look forward to your response. Thank you again. Sept 6th @ 7:37 Tim responds, "First, I want to sincerely thank you for your patience and for taking the time to share your thoughts so thoroughly. I've carefully reviewed your voicemail and your email, and I want you to know that I fully understand the frustration you've experienced during this process. Three months is far longer than anyone would expect to wait after purchasing a vehicle, and I recognize the significant impact it has had on both your personal life and your business. I also appreciate you acknowledging the offer we made to cover one of your car payments as a step toward making things right. I hear you clearly that you feel this does not go far enough in addressing the inconvenience and additional costs you've faced. While I cannot make a final decision on reimbursement without further discussion with ownership, I want to assure you that your concerns will be reviewed at that level. Your request for the owner to weigh in is fair, and I will personally ensure your situation is presented for consideration. In the meantime, I'm glad to hear that you'll be able to come down on Saturday to switch into your Van. That will finally give us the opportunity to close this difficult chapter and allow you to start enjoying the vehicle you purchased. Please know we will make every effort to ensure the transition is smooth and that there are no further delays. I do have the first payment check ready and would like to meet you at the store. If you will let me know what time works best for you so I can make arrangements. My goal is the same as yours: to resolve this matter in a way that is fair, respectful, and allows us to move forward with your confidence restored. Thank you again for your patience, your honesty, and the opportunity to work toward a resolution." Sept 8th around 5 PM I finally picked up my van. Tim came down and met me on his day off. I was given a check for one car payment only. Part 6 next
