Have had too many bad experiences with dealerships when buying cars before. This one is NOT an exception LOL but here me out. For weeks now my mother had been very vocal about getting a new car. She has the financial means, and her credit score is over 800. So going to the dealership we know were not there to go back and forth with the price. We said laid on the car that my mother wanted and we told them the price we are willing to pay, if they are not willing then no hard feeling and we walk out of the door. We walked in the door and Mr. Corey Auld (shoutout to Corey) helped us out. Corey is nothing but professional, knowledgable, respectful, and down right good guy (we didn't feel judged or forced). Thats why my mother felt comfortable around him, and to be honest so was it. We were not forced, and the whole interaction was just easy and chill. What ruined everything was his manager. he came in like we owe him something, like we buying this brand new car with scraps. we felt disrespected so we immediately stood up and out the door. What got out business back was our interaction with Corey. Got in contact with him the next day. Shout out to him coz it was his day off but he still took my call and showed up on his days off. thats how professional he was. One thing i asked was, i never had to deal with that mnager again and he assume me that we wont be dealing with his manager while we're there. So overall, i'd give it a 5 out of 5. We came in on Saturday, July 11 for a routine oil change and informed the service advisor that our engine light was on. We were told they were unable to check it that day, so we scheduled another appointment for July 18 specifically to have the issue diagnosed and hopefully repaired. When we returned for our appointment, Aisllyn was our service advisor and explained that several employees had called out and that it would be an all-day service. We understood the situation and were willing to be patient. However, at 1:54 PM, we received an update stating they were still running behind and had not yet been able to diagnose our vehicle. We understood they were short-staffed, but our appointment was at 10 AM, and the main reason we brought the vehicle in was to get the engine light diagnosed and hopefully have it fixed that day. We followed up again at 4:37 PM and did not receive a response until 5:47 PM. At that point, we were told the vehicle still had not been diagnosed and were asked if we wanted to leave the vehicle or bring it back another day. The frustrating part was that we had already arrived and were standing in front of her office before we even saw that message. They close at 6 PM, and leaving the vehicle was not an option since we needed it for work on Monday. This should have been communicated much earlier instead of leaving us waiting all day with no clear update. What made this experience worse was the lack of urgency, communication, and empathy. When we arrived in person, there was no real acknowledgment of the situation--no proper apology, no explanation, and no effort to address the inconvenience. We were simply told, "we'll bring the car up." After driving from Aiea twice for the same issue, we left without the vehicle even being diagnosed and nothing was accomplished. We understand that being short-staffed happens, but customers' time should still be respected. A little more communication and consideration would have made a huge difference. Given the time wasted and the inconvenience caused, we would appreciate some form of accountability or compensation, such as prioritizing our vehicle on the next visit and providing the diagnostic service at no charge. This experience was extremely frustrating and disappointing. We hope management takes this feedback seriously and improves communication and customer service moving forward. read more

[[HIGHLIGHT]]About three months ago, I purchased a vehicle from this dealership, and I was very satisfied with the team members who helped me throughout the buying process.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] When I purchased the vehicle, I also bought a tire and wheel protection plan because I wanted to make sure that if I ever had a tire or wheel issue, I would be able to receive quick service without unexpected costs. When my front left tire was punctured, I brought my vehicle to the service department. I was told that they did not have my specific tire in stock and that it would arrive in approximately five days. Since my spare tire was installed on the vehicle at the time, I explained that I could manage for a few days. To make the vehicle easier and safer to drive, they moved the spare tire to the rear and moved the good rear tire to the front. After receiving my vehicle, I noticed that my steering wheel was no longer centered. However, I assumed this would be corrected when the new tire was installed, so I did not make an issue of it at that time. A few days later, I received another call informing me that there was an issue with the tire pressure monitoring system and that I would need to wait approximately two more weeks for the necessary part to arrive. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I explained that I use my vehicle for work and that the sooner this situation could be resolved, the better it would be for me. However, I had no other option but to wait.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Two weeks later, they contacted me again and told me that my tire was ready. I went to the dealership, and they replaced the tire. When I mentioned that my steering wheel was still not centered, I was told that the service department was very busy and that I should schedule another appointment for the alignment so they could provide better assistance at that time. A few days later, I noticed that the tire had been installed backwards. Since I use my vehicle for work every day, this made me concerned about my safety. I scheduled another appointment and returned to the service department to have the issue corrected. I explained that the tire had been installed incorrectly and also explained the steering issue I had been experiencing. However, I was given a charge for a wheel alignment. I explained that there was no steering issue before the tire replacement and that the problem started only after the work was performed. I was then told that the steering issue was unrelated to the tire replacement. I reminded them that I had purchased a tire and wheel protection plan and asked if this would be covered. They told me that they would cover the alignment this time, but if a similar issue happened again within the next year, it would not be covered. I dropped my vehicle off in the morning and picked it up in the evening. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Although the issues were eventually resolved, this situation caused me to lose an entire day of work. After already waiting weeks for the tire, having to return to the dealership again because of a simple mistake caused me unnecessary stress, wasted time, and financial loss.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I understand that problems can happen anywhere from time to time. However, installing a tire backwards is something that should have been caught with a simple inspection before returning the vehicle to the customer. Last month I was in a bind as my 2013 Prius brakes didn't respond quickly as I stepped on it. Then the brake lights went on. This was a Wednesday afternoon. I then took my car to my friend at Goodyear who advised me the brakes needed replacement but needed to go to Toyota as they don't replace brakes for hybrids. I then drove my car to Toyota in town and my service rep confirmed the brakes needed to be replaced. Parts would have to be ordered and with labor the quote was $4500. I immediately called my BIL who knows autos very well and also agreed that I'd be better off getting a new car. For over a year I promised myself I'd get a new car after quitting my part time job but couldn't wait for that. Loving my Prius, I wanted to get another one but I understand there's an island wide backlog where the waiting period is from 9 months, depending on which model. My BIL suggested either Honda or Lexus hybrids where he made a few phone calls with both makers available. Step in my sister, who so fortunately scrolled through a Facebook post of a Prius being available for viewing on Friday here. We were going to be in the Kaneohe area, so we swung by to check if it was already there. Servco Toyota Windward (STW), one of three Servco Toyotas in Oahu, moved to this current location in 1970 on the Windward side and has been servicing this area for an impressive 50+ years. At the corner of Kamehameha Highway and Likelike Highway, STW is conveniently located and next door to Honda Windward. We arrived shortly before their closing of 6pm and were greeted by a salesperson who immediately guided us. It was the 2025 Prius Prime electric, where it wasn't what I intentionally wanted but kept an open mind assessing my options. We then checked out the car and was interested for a test drive but was advised it was too late for the day. My BIL then asked to make an appointment for tomorrow but the staff in charge was off Thursday but would return on Friday. Regardless we wanted to take a test drive Thursday and made an appointment first thing after their opening of 9am. Thursday morning we were greeted by Maui, the salesperson who posted the ad and came to work on his day off. My BIL, who is quite knowledgeable in cars fired away with questions and Maui answered them individually. We then took the Prime for a test drive, which had so much power that I'm not accustomed to. The car is sporty and not really me but I was impressed. We then took a test drive for another 2025 Prius that was a simpler model. I immediately felt the difference where this model shook more and therefore, much noisier. I really liked the color of this one, which was less expensive but I wasn't impressed. I ended up selecting the Prime, where we had a wait for the finance representative to finish the customer in front of me. I couldn't locate my car registration the night before and had planned to go to DMV at across the street Windward City Shopping Center and to my delight, for $10 (the cost to have a duplicate reissued at DMV), STW will do it for you by signing a form. Such great customer service. Closing the deal was quick as I opted no financing. I just followed instructions by checking, marking, and signing the iPad and wrote the check. While waiting, my sister and BIL made use of their refreshment bar and had coffee, where they commented it was not bad, with the exception of an aftertaste. Perhaps the machine needs cleaning? I was sad to have my Prius of 12 years traded in and left it behind as I drove my new wheels off the lot. But I'm now a proud owner of this sporty Prius that looks like a Tesla. It has many functions that I don't utilize as I'm a simple person and not into too many gadgets. I'm closing, I'm very pleased with the service extended to me from STW where I'd recommend them. Customer service exceeded my expectations and I'm still digging my new wheels where I've received a lot of positive feedback and comments from many. read more

I'd like to recognize the amazing service I received at Toyota Windward !! I bought a used 2024 Camry recently from them and I love the vehicle . I am an uber driver so safety is very important to me I did notice a vibration in the wheel when I would brake on a downhill and at first I tried to tell myself it was ok but it kept getting worse till it became a real concern . Brought the car in and they did a brake inspection for me and waived any diagnostic fees . They found both front rotar's were a bit warped causing the vibration they quoted me 682.00 for a front end brake job with 2 brand new rotars was a bit bummed at such a costly repair on a car I just bought but when I went to pick it up they told me they were gonna cover it!!! I was so happy and thankful because I had put 3000 mile on it since buying and they were in no way obligated to do that . I was so stoked these guys are the best I will only drive Toyotas till the day I die!! Bought Several vehicles recently and Reid Watanabe and David Suzuki took very good care of us. Very pleased with the sales process! The Service is not the best system. We have 2 Honda's and take cars to service. The service and puck up us quickring and flawless. At Honda we have to sit in our car in line fir a set appointment time and the wait is not acceptable as we come at scheduled time and at pickup, have to hō in a separste building to check out and have always waited 15 minutes ir more as the cashier has ti wait for service to bring paperwork! Ends up he has the AUDACITY to say he needs a "$500 refundable deposit" as well as my ID or we can't do business. Mind you, I haven't even LOOKED at the truck, nor SETTLED on a price!!!! They were very communicative and I did my part by uploading all required documents plus fill out the credit app. Once they run my credit, they dropped the ball on me. No communication from both people who were communicating with me. To this day, 3 weeks later. Not one word nor response to my follow up text. If they sold the car, they can just say that. Bad customer service! Especially after telling them the background of my situation and my need for a pre-owned car. I just did this at the Mapunapuna Servco location. Horrible service! I had an appointment for oil and filter service at 2pm. I arrived early at 1:30pm. I asked the service ADVISOR which license plate light was replaced at the Toyota in town a couple months ago and he stated it was the left one, I told him it was burnt out again and needed to be replaced. It was still under warranty so I didn't expect to be charged for it. I also asked to have my key fob battery replaced and new wiper inserts installed. I signed for the work to be performed but was not ADVISED of the cost nor the time estimate. No expectations set by the ADVISOR. I did mention I had an appointment to get to in Hawaii Kai after my service and let him know I would be waiting. An hour and 45 minutes later I messaged the advisor and asked for an update. He called me 10 mintues later and stated the tech was just replacing the key fob battery and I was not in need of the wiper replacement but they would change them if I wanted. I stated no, I was already late for my appointment. Then 35 minutes later the ADVISOR notified me my vehicle was completed. 2.5 hours for an oil change, license plate bulb and key fob battery. When I was looking over my bill I saw I was charged for the license plate bulb replacement and when I inquired why, I was told that I didn't ask for a diagnosis. It was a part failure, no diagnosis needed. If the ADVISOR thought I needed a diagnosis, why didn't he ADVISE one upon write up. Then he informed me that if I wanted it replaced under warranty, I would have to take it back to the Servco Toyota in town where I originally had it replaced. Straight out LIE, it's a Toyota part warranty, replaceable at any certified Toyota dealership. I did not have time to argue with him, I had to cancel my appointment in Hawaii Kai. I have a 2013 Toyota PriusV, I can take it anywhere but I pay a premium price for premium parts and service, this place FAILED by a long shot. I will be making the drive to the Toyota in town where I have always had excellent service. P.S. they did not replace my reminder sticker, wonder what else they didn't do, and my tire pressure warning light came on while I was driving home. read more
