This dealership was on my list to visit, but it wasn't for the Suburban I originally wanted. HOWEVER, when I arrived it was a pleasant change from the prior dealership. I spoke with John who was the internet consultant I had been working with. He handed me off to Joyce and I couldn't have been happier! She was so patient, understanding and just an all around nice lady who made my experience wonderful. I went in looking at the Tahoe Premier because that is what stood out. After seeing it, Joyce and her manager were able to knock off an additional $500 from the price along with increasing my used car amount from $6k to $6.5k after being told it was only worth about $5800. Although I had an offer from two other companies (One being CarMax) for around $8 - $8.6k, I took the offer as I didn't want to drive two cars home. Also, seeing as how the last dealership offered me only $2k for my 2015 Durango in good condition with 101k miles. After a while, I really wanted the Suburban so as they were crunching the numbers I found one on their lot that I really liked. It wasn't the Premier, but to me the only option that I NEEDED were the Captain's Chairs for the second row. This LT was black on black (which I LOVE), had the 22" black wheel package, comfort package and black lettering package and priced just a bit higher than the Tahoe. I took it for a test drive and fell in love. When I got back, I asked John for their best offer and they matched the $4k discount the Tahoe offered even though it was already discounted at $2800. Also, there were NO additional add ons which was much more attractive, so we shook hands and the deal was done. So much easier than the other dealership (side note, that dealership was so petty they were bad mouthing Sedano as I left. Very insecure on their part. No COURTESY at all). From start to finish, Sedano hands down helped me out and made sure all of my needs were met. They were all super friendly and continued to help me after I left their dealership. I was so excited about the Suburban that I purchased the extended warranty without doing my due diligence (I'm the type to do all my research prior to a big purchase). After thinking about it more and doing some research I decided to cancel knowing I would not receive the refund but rather it would be deducted from my principal. Shockingly, the finance department was able to remove that cost from my original deal and redo the deal. I was surprisingly shocked. Couldn't be more excited about my experience.

Multiple bad experiences here, so this is definitely not a one-off. I gave them the benefit of the…read moredoubt the first time, but they keep dropping the ball. First off, the customer service is terrible. The guys at the front desk are unprofessional and have terrible communication skills, which is not what you want when you're trusting a shop with thousands of dollars worth of work. And definitely not the kinds of guys I would seek their opinion on parts/builds. (Besides the guy who drives the old gen tundra, he's cool). Second, they don't stick to their schedule at all. You can drop your truck off for a 10 AM appointment and it won't even get on a lift until mid afternoon. Then hours later you get a call saying something came up, they need to order parts, they can't finish the job, or now it's going to cost more. This has happened to me multiple times, including a long travel kit install, mounting new wheels, and even just a basic rotation and rebalance. Third, the quality of work has been just as bad. I had them mount and balance brand new 37s on brand new wheels, and I kept finding wheel weights in my driveway. The first time, I brought it back and they said they'd fix it. Instead, they just slapped more weights on and sent me out. Same problem kept happening and I ended up with another handful of weights falling off over time. (and that's just the ones I found, who knows how much actually fell off elsewhere.) When I called again, they wanted me to pay for another rebalance. At that point I just agreed since I also needed a rotation and had a tire with a nail in it. I dropped it off at 10 expecting to get it back in a few hours. At 1 they call and say they can't patch the tire and asked if I want to continue. I told them no because I was going to need to buy another tire and have it installed. At that point all they had done was take that wheel off the truck. Then when I said I'd come pick it up, they told me it wouldn't be ready until 3 because the tech was at lunch. That pretty much sums it up. Poor communication, wasted time, and sloppy work. They're (relatively) cheap for a reason. If you're thinking about bringing your truck here, I'd honestly go somewhere else and save yourself the headache.

So, I went in there because they're the only shop that was open in Alpine, California. Bill the owner had advised me that to diagnose it alone is $115.00, then what ever the issue was.. they would go from there. About 45 minutes later, I was told that I needed to replace the glass window itself, it would have to be special order, and it would take a few days for it. First of all, I'm only in town for the weekend. How is that even possible, our resort will not valet it nor we can even park in the parking structure due to the window not closing... Just great! So, I spoke to the mechanic Chris, a very nice gentleman, who had explained everything in details. Also, he resolved this problem in the meantime. But, I would have to take care of it as soon as I get back home. I am forever GREATFUL for CHRIS, you are brought humanity back to my world. I thank you for your help.
