I came here since I needed new wiper blades and a battery for my key fob. I was looking at their website and saw that they do free wiper installation with your purchase. So that further helped my decision to go there. When I got there, I wasn't sure which length my car needed. So I waited around the cashier since they were helping folks. One of the staff noticed I was kind of waiting around and asking me how they could help me. So when I explained I needed help with my key fob and new wiper blades. They started with replacing my battery for my key fob. Then they looked it up in their system which wiper blades my car uses. I paid and then they asked if I would like them replaced. And of course I said yes! They told their co-worker they were going to step out for an installation. They were quick at replacing my wiper blades and even took the old ones for me. read more

I purchased a pair of brakes shoes yesterday and there were three different ones so I Purchased two parts to get installed at the local shop. The two that I purchased were wrong so I called O'Reillys and spoke to Francisco he sent his driver the third pair that fit perfectly to the auto shop that I was getting my truck repaired within five minutes, he's also refunded me for both pair of brakes, shoes, and charge me for the new pair without even going back to O'Reillys. also gave me a detailed receipt explaining the transactions.. above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied and trust me he went above and beyond to satisfy me. I no longer recommend this place to anyone. I bought a battery here and it died within two years. Called the location and I was still under warranty. They said they had the battery and will have it ready to replace once I arrived. The guy who I talked to on the phone was busy with another guest and some other guy assisted me. Possibly the manager. That's when my experience turned to crap. He told me my car was causing my battery to malfunction. He did not want to honor my warranty and gave me a bunch of excuses about my car and asked me if I wanted to buy a new one. After wasting my time at this location, I decided to go to the Pico Rivera location. Within 10 minutes Pico Rivera location tested my battery, honored my warranty and I was good to go. read more

Los Angeles My anti freeze reservoir cap broke in my car and needed to be replaced fast but it was about 9 pm on 10/04/2021 and I called Oreillys and was greeted by Andrea. She didn't have the part at her store but put me on a very brief hold called some oreilly stores and found my part ... she went above and beyond the call of duty so for that... she should be recognized. Great customer service is hard to find nowadays but I found it at Oreillys . A company is only as good as the people who work there. And Andrea is making Oreillys shine!!! Good job ma'am!!! I have been to O'Reillys 4 times today. 3 times another location and 1time here. I don't know much about cars but maybe it's too much to expect their staff know or can at least help find something without attitude or dismissive behavior. I'm not a rude person, yes I'm tired but I know how to treat people with respect. Came in here to return a filter wrench for my oil. Went to the front where there was a woman. Politely asked if she could help me or suggest another wrench that could work to get my oil filter out. Instead of looking up my car or asking questions she told I could go look in the back of the store. No help whatsoever. I know nothing about wrenches or sizes and they have a whole display dedicated to it. So I go back and ask her to please look up my car so I can get the size I need. She looks it up without a word. Walks away and comes back with an oil filter. She tells me I can use it to measure the wrench size. I just look at her bc I cannot believe what she is telling. I went got the smallest size and came to the front for another worker to help me. I'm not sure her problem or issue but take it somewhere else. If you can't be helpful in the service industry get out of it. Came back after 20min of trying with the new wrench came back with my mom. Same woman helped me, her name is Monica. She tried telling us to go look again without looking anything up again. Luckily there was a man off to the side. Another worker, helped us. I turned and Monica is helping another woman. She looked up what she needed on the computer, went and got it for her. So idk what her deal was with me and my mom but this is not acceptable. I'm calling management tomorrow read more

I could not understand the manger mr Francisco assume what oil I want and tells me to chill out, I had place two 5 qt bottles of Castro GTX high mileage to purchase and he wants to sell me Castro GTX magnet oil. Poor customer service, rude, raising his voice to chill out Humiliating and embarrassing customer in front of other customers. Went on a Saturday for some windshield wipers. It was fast, efficient. The rep was very helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. Definitely made me, someone that doesn't know much about cars, at ease. They had a few people working there but I can totally see how they can be a bit overwhelmed when things get busy or if they're understaffed. Awesome Service! Went on a Sunday Morning,looking for a can of A/c refrigerant, After a super Hot Saturday of hot air blowing in my face all day! Asked for help & I was promptly Assisted by a very helpful associate,Abel. He lped me and even helped point out where the Low Port on my ac was located! which was not clearly marked, which they usually are. Abel offered his assistance in adding the can of freon,which was shocking! I would think it would not be store policy! Im very Surprised he offered as I am disabled ( i only have use of 1 hand, so most easy tasks are difficult! So I asked him to please help me, which he gladly did! Now my AC works perectly. Let me just start by saying A-M-A-Z-I-N-G customer service! Oscar and Nicholas were extremely helpful! From the moment Nicholas answered the phone till the moment Oscar explained what my check engine code meant. They were very helpful throughout the whole process. Moreover, Oscar was so patient with me and answered all my billion-and-1 questions I had for him. They offered to also replace the battery on my remote car key, but I told them I wanted to learn to do it myself and thanked them. These guys are so efficient and great at their job. Oscar is definitely knowledgeable about cars and is there to help. I highly recommend you guys to come here if your check engine light turns on! Customer service here is exquisite. You walk in and immediately there is an employee asking you if you need any help. I wish there were more specialty parts but oh well at least there is a Sears nearby and Lowes in the next city. One time I needed to return some headlights and the employees gave me no trouble returning the items. I showed my receipt and the return was quick and painless. Came here to get the refill for my windshield wiper blades after reading all the positive reviews. Customer service was almost none existence during my visit. I am not sure if he was upset because it was a Monday or he was the only one working during that time but straight up told me they don't have it in store . So After i insisted checking the computer, he found they are in fact in stock. I didn't bother asking if he could install them for me because I pretty much already know the answer. I probably wouldn't come back again at least not on a Monday. Hope you have better luck than I do. read more

So I bought a 20 dollar item here that I ended up needing to return. It turns out that they gave me the wrong part. The part I was given was $25. I realized that I was refunded an extra $5 dollars and I even checked on my smart phone to confirm that I was only charged for $20. I already had the money refunded after I realized this but since I do not like stealing I went back and told them they made a mistake and that they gave me too much money. So what ends up happening is the man who gave me the refund calls the manager and the manager ends up charging me $25 and then refunding me like $17 bucks instead of the 20 because who the hell knows why. I told them that I only had like 30 bucks on my card so they were also going to leave me with no money in the bank because of their mistake. TLDR; They gave me the wrong part and refunded me extra money, I went back to tell them, they end up giving me less than what I paid, and left me with practically no money in the bank because of the multiple transactions. __ I think it was REALLY pathetic that the MANAGER punished me for going back and trying be good after they they gave me the wrong part in the first place. Thank you for teaching me to never shop at your store again. read more

Especially the cashier and the individual that helped me install my battery name Rogelio. For being 19 years old he knows how to treat and respect customers. I wasn't expecting him to offer to install my battery on my car. I was already planning to do it myself at home and I was already thinking I wasn't going to be at my job on time. By Rogelio offering to install the battery, he helped me a lot, time wise. Very professional, did things right and fast. If you ever do go to O'Reilly in Montebello ask for Rogelio.
