My car literally broke down in front of their store. They lent me a battery jump starter, but it did not work. I had auto zone employees come to my car (they were not allowed to touch the car) to help me, but that was not an option here. They also did not have a multimeter I could borrow and suggested that I go to an auto shop near by. Hmmm why did I not do that.... This place needs help. Their counter has ONLY one person up front. I can hear people working in back but they don't care to come up and actually help a customer. A guy walks in from lunch and blows buy the counter that is now 4 people deep. A total joke of an experience. Some good competition for this location would be good. Just terrible service. Finally after waiting 15 minutes the guy at the front desk yells back for help and some old guy slowly waddles out to help. Making matters worse - they advertise $10 coupons for recycle batteries - but they then tell you that they won't give anything for jet ski or motorcycle batteries. Today, I went into O'Reilly Parts store #2519 in Redmond, Washington. The assistant refused to honor the warranty on a six-month-old battery. I was treated extremely rudely by their assistant manager Terry and was asked to leave when I complained about the poor service. She instructed me to make a third trip to their store to take the matter up with her superior the next day. When asked if she would help me, she replied "I can help you, but I won't." A poor way to run a successful business with a rude manager. She needs to be let go. read more

I have been shopping at this location for years and am always upset when I leave. So this time I wanted to share and am planning to never go there again. It seems as if the staff in this store forget why they have a store...to sell to customers. They would rather talk amongst themselves and walk to the back than actually wait on a customer who has been standing at the counter for 5 minutes. I went in at 8:15am. Only customer. Two men were working there and they both saw me walk in. One was looking at the freight boxes randomly to see what came in. The other was in the back behind the curtain doing who knows what. Each acknowledged to each other "customer for you" but never once said anything to me. Finally I asked if anyone wanted to sell something to me. Response was "we will be with you in a minute" as the guy was on his phone looking at something. I was done and walked out. Looks like AutoZone or Napa in totem lake will get my business going forward. Redmond needs a new auto parts store! Horrible service and half the time they have no clue on auto knowledge. read more

I came here today looking for a simple item: a thin billfold-like document holder to put in my glove compartment to hold my insurance and car's registration. I used to be able to find these at Target, but no more. I figured a car place like this for sure would have this, right? I mean, they have a tons of license frames and car accessories, engine oils and filters and windshield wiper blades. Heck, they even have fuzzy dice here. And "family" stick figure decals. For sure they'd have a car document holder, right? Wrong. I really was surprised. I did appreciate that this store was clean and well organized, and the guy who tried to find me the item I needed (to no avail) was pleasant and nice. I didn't much like the configuration of the parking lot, or the access point to the lot, south of Jiffy Lube. Terrible experience here. The workers at this location could care less about providing any customer service and they make it very obvious that they wish you weren't even in the store. I just moved to the area a few months ago and I happened to be driving around at night running errands and my check engine light came on. I was scared and my husband was out of town. It was dark and I was in unfamiliar surroundings and needed help. Boy did I go to the wrong place!! I was "helped", if you could call it that, by a dude named Ashley. I asked if they had the diagnostic scan machine to hook up to my car. They said yes but we can't go out to your car and help you, you have to do it yourself. I asked why that was the case because at other O'Reilly locations, an attendant came out to my car to run the diagnostic equipment and help me. They said they do not go out to people's car because of O'Reilly "covid" protocol. I didn't know how to operate the machine and told them that they always come out to my car at the other locations?? They responded "why don't you go there then?". Even the advertising O'Reilly depicts shows the attendants going outside to help. It's right in their own images! They literally wanted me to leave rather than help me. After I got home I called the locations in Woodinville and Bellevue and they said they had never heard of any "covid" protocol that prevented workers from coming out to people's cars to help. The people who work at the Redmond location are lazy, preoccupied and uninterested in helping customers and can't be bothered to do their jobs. In the past, I have found the attendants at other O'Reilly locations to be very friendly and helpful. This location, however, is a completely different story. I hope I never have to go back in there again especially if it's an emergency! read more

I have been into this O'Reilly a few times and always been happy with their friendly service and assistance (mainly replacing my windshield wipers). However a few days ago not only did I need some fuel stabilizer for a boat (which they showed me exactly where to look for it and what to get), but I just needed problem solving help: my daughter had backed into another car earlier that morning causing damage to our car. Patrick went above and beyond, coming out to take a look and making recommendations, and then even helping me through a part replacement set by step, empowering me and truly saving the day. And he genuinely seemed happy to help. Will definitely return for all my auto part needs. read more

Just needed to pick up some DEF and ask about pricing on heavy duty diesel battery replacements. Fine waiting for service, even when there's only 3 customers and 2 staff working, though: A) Greet customers on entrance, or at least acknowledge their existence in some form. B) While finishing existing customer, don't prioritize other customers browsing the store and then on the phone ahead of those waiting. This customer felt ignored, not valued and walked out. There are other good parts stores to work with, eg Napa, that have cheaper prices and friendlier service. Shame as other o'Reilly in Bellevue is much better. Everyone has a bad day, so might try again - though encourage others to vote with their wallets. read more

The staff gave the guy before me the wrong wiper blades TWICE, he told me he had one filter went to check and didn't have it. Told me he had a different filter just more expensive, I said okay, he went to get it and couldn't find it. Said oh we have had a lot of discrepancies with there inventory.. terrible service and workers are incompetent. read more

A lot of folks leaving reviews about poor service, they should really bear in mind that there aren't many options for auto parts in the immediate area, so the counter tends to have at least 2-3 customers waiting to be served, especially on weekends. If you don't want to deal with crowds/waiting, try not waiting til the last dang minute to get the sh¡t you need. read more

My windshield wiper blades were over due. I happened to be in the area. This is the first time I picked up a pair of wiper blades without any help. I just used the search system in front the the product and found the wiper blades I wanted. I thought I'd ask them to show me how to put the blades on. She is there for her customers 100% - Offering great "insider" advise to incoming customers needing solid fix knowledge of repairs (the first time). Loved this place. Came here to get new windshield wipers. I had no idea how to get them off, so I just drove in. They were very friendly when I walked in after I told them the make and model of my car they walked me over the the types of wipers that would work. I opted for the mid level ones and there was no pressure put on me to try and get the expensive ones. Not only were they friendly and helpful with picking out the wipers (which I felt I got a good deal on), they ALSO helped me put them on! It was raining outside at the time, so I thought that was an very nice gesture. I will definitely be back here for any of my car needs! read more

One way to tell if an auto parts store is good - check the parking lot. If its pavement is pristine then they aren't gonna be much help. This shop's parking lot is suitably messy: don't be scared off, be encouraged! There are often a few customers looking over their cars, figuring out just what need fixing, and many staff are not afraid to come take a look with you. read more

I tried to exchange a hand oiler.... a $10.00 item, I used it one time and it fell apart. I was in the middle of a very important project so I needed to exchange it! I was told I needed a receipt. It was purchased with my sons corporate card and I did not have his phone number so they could not do any deal. I handed them the broken one and said keep it. We have been regulars since this location opened! They have been "Black Balled" from all future purchasing! Pennzoil didn't put the connection clamp (or whatever it's called) on my new battery correctly and so it had come loose and my car wouldn't start. I managed to jiggle it enough to drive to O'Reilly Auto Parts. I thought I would need to buy a new connection, but Lorenzo helped me by fixing it with a simple wrench and didn't charge me at all. He did it in less than 3 minutes. I was very grateful and still got to work at a decent time. In addition, I came here last fall to get some new windshield wipers and was recommended Bosch windshield wipers. So far they are the least squeaky and most thorough windshield wipers I've had since my car was brand new. read more

Worst service ever. Stopped in to get a gas cap. One parts person helping customer other parts person just chatting with someone. Person leaves, parts person gets on phone surfing web, no offer to help me. Another customer comes in immediately helps them. When I ask why I'm not being helped snottily reply's I'll get to you. I had a pleasant experience there. The clerk who helped us, Steve, was very helpful and made our experience worry free by looking up the parts that we needed for replacing (brake rotors and pads). He also advertised their sale deals when I asked for an oil filter, to save on buying oil. They were out of the rear rotors, which he helped guide us to the next location and providing a part number to take with, which resulted in a less than 3 minute purchase to make at the other store. read more

Terrible place. Rude people. Called in to check a part and they said it's in stock. Came by the place and the guy said it's not in stock. Told them I talked to john and John said it wasn't him. They said it must have been the other store. I was sure I called this one. So I redialed the last number and the same john answered. He said do you want the number to the other store. The guy at the counter was a rude moron who kept showing me the screen saying it's not here. There was no apology or anything. They made me think I called the wrong store. I had noticed white smoke coming from a specific part in my car engine. I know absolutely nothing about cars, and so I went into O'Reilly's to see if one of the employees there could come out and look at the part and tell me if they carry it in their store for me to purchase. The guy was very rude and looked at me like I was an idiot and like I was wasting his time. He said "what part is it that is smoking" and I said, "I am sorry, I don't know what the part is called, but I have the hood up and know exactly which part it is if you wouldn't mind taking a look and telling me if you carry it or not." He then just stared at me and replied "well I can't tell you if we carry the part unless you know what the part is called." He wouldn't even walk 5 feet out the front door to come take a look and there were plenty of other employees there who could have helped so it wasn't like he was short staffed. He just stared at me like I was stupid until I just said, "so you can't come look at it?" He just replied "no" and didn't try to ask me what the part looked like or anything. I understand that they aren't mechanics and their job isn't to diagnose, I just wanted him to tell me what the part was called and whether he could sell it to me or not. stay away from this store, go to the Bellevue location, this store has young kids who hate customer service and its obvious. they also have no knowledge of how to run their equipment they tested my alternator and said it was good, turned out to be bad.
