The battery was sold with a 5-year warranty, yet it failed in less than 3 years. Their testing showed the battery would only charge to 12.5 volts--roughly 75% state of charge on an AGM battery--even after they had it on a charger for four days before testing. Instead of honoring the warranty, I was first told the battery was "good to go." When I challenged that conclusion, they tried to blame the vehicle's alternator despite providing no convincing evidence that the charging system was the problem. The explanation simply didn't make sense. I've been an FAA-certified aviation mechanic for more than 50 years. I'm not easily impressed by technical jargon, and I know the difference between a valid diagnosis and an excuse. In the end, they denied the warranty claim and repeatedly fell back on "company policy" without offering any logical justification. Poor customer service, poor diagnostics, and no willingness to stand behind the product they sold. I left with the same bad battery I came in with and two hours of my life I won't get back. I won't be returning, and I cannot recommend this business.

I learned through my own research that the charger was overheating due to a super low battery (deep cycle). The way he operates is if you know the answer to something he will agree but not offer any insight as to why something may be behaving in a certain way. He will just let you spend more money. Either that, or he didn't have the knowledge. When I asked him about this, his reply was, "I offered to test your charger". Thats like a painter who doesn't use primer because you didn't know to ask him to. I have always liked this store but lately getting any answers is like pulling teeth.
