I cannot speak to the quality of their work, but I wasn't pleased with their pricing for upgrading the 4 door speakers on my new Tucson. I'd found speakers I'd liked (JL C2-650X) direct from the manufacturer for $225 a pair ($450 for all speakers I needed), yet I was quoted $1300 to purchase those speakers and install them. I tried asking why the price was so steep and didn't get much of an answer. I guess installation costs $850 here. I went to Audio Express in town and walked out with those same speakers plus a subwoofer installed for $1300 total. read more

DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES GO HERE!!! I paid close to $1000 for a new radio for my 2014 FJ. I took it to him 3 times in 4 months because the back up camera kept cutting in and out. I tried to tell him it was the wiring but he insisted it was not. Every time the damn thing stopped working within 24 hours. I finally gave up on this place and went to Best Buy to see what was going on. After the Best But installer removed all the necessary panels, I couldn't believe all the disconnected wires, missing screws, and totally botched installation. After 3 attempts at getting this fixed, I have no choice but to call the BBB and report what an awful job he did on my vehicle. read more

The amplifier in my 2011 Mini went out ($1,000+ replacement) and Sam recommended replacing the entire head unit with GPS, Bluetooth (neither in the original Mini head unit), and a new radio for far less. Wow! My car speakers had been fuzzy for some time, so I dropped my car off, walked around the area, and 45 min later got a call that they were done. Professional, fast, and even when I went back to have them checked again (thought they sounded fuzzy again) they checked my car and corrected the issue free of charge! Sam and his crew replaced the receiver in my 2014 Subaru Forester after the head unit blew out. Subaru offered to replace it for a mere $1100. I went to Super Sound where Sam sold me a very nice Sony receiver with Apple CarPlay, Sirius XM and all the modern features for far, far less than the dealership offered. He didn't try to sell me stuff I didn't need, either, which I appreciated. When it turned out that he didn't have a good looking frame, he ordered one, called me back in and re-installed the unit with the new frame at no additional cost. It looks great and works very well. I bought a stereo at Best Buy since I had a specific model in mind that Super Sound did not carry. I called them to set up an appointment for installation and they got me in same-day on a Sunday! Installation was super fast (around 15 mins) and they were clear about everything on the invoice. Install was much more affordable than Best Buy as well.Overall a very good company! read more

This place ripped us off for a stereo with "Free Installation". It was overpriced and they messed up our vehicle electronics. The stereo stays on without the vehicle being on and is triggered by the locking mechanism now. The owner refused a refund after only one day of having the stereo. I am new to the aftermarket truck accessory stuff... based on the reviews of "friendly and knowledgeble staff, at fair prices" i decided to take a drive from Espanola to Santa Fe specifically to Super Sound to look at some equipment, i was looking at a dvd head unit equipped with Navi, and a dropped down screen for the back.. also remote start and rearview camera... so yes, i was ready to spend some bucks... but my experience there was horrendously horrible.. it still bothering me right now, that i had to write a review... so, i walked in, looked at diff. Products, asking questions about the product and its functions and the options on colors, so i could match the interior of my truck... and this old guy (seems like he is the owner, and father of a family runned biz) was getting real irrate and aggressive with me... i cant really explain in words, but basically making feel very uncomfortable, and giving me the impression if i wasnt gna buy right then and there, to get out of his store!!!!! I explained to him that if i said or did anything to offend him, i apologize... all i was doing, was wanting to know the product more, and its functions, WAS THAT TOO MUCH TO ASK?!! regardless if i was ready to buy or not.... i would have been ready to buy in about 10 minutes, if dude would have been courtious and just answer my questions (simple ones at that)... what a weird and horrible experience... my recommendation to dude, is to might as lock the front door, if he is gna b treating customers like that... read more

I went in and looked to replace my radio. The man that claims he is the owner told me if I bought the radio from him he would install for free. I asked if his stereo prices were comparable to other stores he told me he sells them for a few dollars over cost but comparable. Since installation was free I didn't mind spending a few dollars extra. So I paid $200. Before I got back home 4 miles away the digital face plate stopped working and the radio began turning on and off by itself. I returned and asked him to fix it the very next morning. He looked at it and told me that it must be my ignition. I told him that I did not have that problem before the install (the day before) and he responded with something like, I don't know what to tell you and said that he does not offer refunds. I asked for them to check the wiring and he said he would not because it is not his problem if the ignition is not working. I reiterated that there was nothing wrong with the ignition prior to the install. Bottom line is that he sold me a defective product with a defective install and would not make right by it. read more
