My mechanic told me that I would need to replace my battery soon, that it was older and with our colder winter temps aren't helping to keep as strong of a charge. I came into this O'Reillys to shop for a battery about two weeks ago on a Sunday afternoon. We didn't wait long in their line while the two men working were both helping others at their counters. When it was our turn, the younger good looking gentleman with curly hair called us over. I should have asked for his name. He was super friendly, showed us our options and even saved us quite some money with my badge. I got the upgrade with more juice. My surround sound uses a lot of juice to power. Who knew? ‍ He came out with us, swapped out my old battery for my new one and even gave me the core discount since he knew he was going to swap it out for me. This store is my store of choice for their customer service and value. I looked back at my receipt to see if there was an employees name so I could give him proper credit, there wasn't. I had a very uncomfortable experience at O'Reilly Auto Parts. The lady working at the front counter was unfriendly, never smiled, and made me feel ignored during the whole interaction. I was trying to return a part, but there was confusion because I accidentally brought in one that I had purchased online instead of the one from the store. Once I realized the mistake, I went back to my car and brought the correct part, so the return ended up being fine. Even though it was an honest mistake, the employee was very strict and made me feel like I was being dishonest or lying about the situation. The reason why I stopped by this location was only due to my Coolant was low so had to grab a gallon just in case, so when I walked in an was greeted right away from the staff, an after looking at numerous amounts of different coolants I didnt know nor was I aware of what Dex-coolants to regular coolants. But after the gentleman behind the counter explains to me that putting the wrong coolant in your car can clog your system by using the incorrect coolant. So since I have a Mitsubishi, my car needed an Asian Coolant I was shocked! I'd never heard of an "Asian Coolant" but apparently there was something like that. The man was very helpful, an from a customer standpoint I can guarantee that these individuals will take care of everybody's needs. Got there a few mins later and the assistant manager helped me out. I can't remember his name, but he was so friendly and professional. Got my battery, he installed it, and I was on my way. Can I Say You Have The Wrong Person Running This Store I was there for interview and found out that the person that was interviewing me was the asst manager SHELBY which I think is the person that should be manager. The manager was the one walking around talking on his cell phone for almost 35 minutes then has the nerve to tell me that 14.00 and hour is what you pay an employee with more experience than him and tried to explain why. They have all the parts that you could ever need, like AutoZone, but I bought a remanufactured alternator Jan 2017 from a store in Las Vegas. Alternator sounded like it was making nosies, so I had it tested to see if I had to return it, which I thought I purchased at AutoZone. It tested fine. I called the number on the alternator and I guess I got it from O'Reillys. So I called then here in Sparks and they said I got it from them. I asked if it was possible to return it in case it was bad. This was before I tested it. O'Reillys said it only had a 1 year warranty for a remanufactured alternator. Figures. This is why I get all my supplies and parts from AutoZone. The same alternator at AutoZone comes with a LIFETIME WARRANTY!! Luckily i didn't have to get a new alternator. When I do, it'll be from AutoZone. Also, AutoZone has a much better reward program than O'Reillys. Lietime warranties on AutoZone batteries, plugs and wires included. And you don't need a receipt! Just give AutoZone your number and it's good to go! The service isn't bad at O'Reillys, it's just their warranty program isn't as generous as AutoZone. read more

Not a great experience, but hey what can you expect from people that don't know about cars and don't even want to try to have good costumer service. Went in, girl on a computer just looked at me and continued to do whatever she was doing, had to ask her is she could helped me. After I told her what I needed, the phone rang....she picked it up and completely ignored me for 2-3 minutes. I looked at another guy standing there just doing nothing and then she, while on the phone, just said "we don't have it, I could order it"...but then continue to ignore me when I asked her how long. Just wanted to give a shoutout to the business. I went in expecting a normal auto parts store. I was WRONG! I walked in and it felt like a regular store. I quickly found the headlamp section and instantly was confused. Next thing I know I see an associate walking my way and he asked if I needed any help!!!!!!!! I'm used to having to wait in line, ask a question, picking the product and waiting in line again. He began to explain to me how to figure out what type of bulb I needed and how to look for it. Then he offered me suggestions to pick the product. I ended up picking the one I wanted and then he offered other items to help me out. I signed up for a rewards card as well. My son was given the wrong chains for his car, hopefully by mistake, and during the process of driving with the chains on they did quite a bit of damage to my car. When my son and I met with the District Manager, Juan Alvarez, he was very professional and helped us find a solution that was agreeable for all of us. I posted a review on O'Reilly's web site only to have it rejected because they didn't like that I stated their produce could be purchased elsewhere at less than half their price. They apparently only approve positive reviews and reject those that might help customers make a more financially responsible purchase. I actually purchased the product from Walmart online and saved almost $100 (yes, that's right, almost one hundred dollars). The people I spoke with at customer service were very polite and understanding about my complaint but stated that they were not going to post any reviews that might cause someone not to purchase their products (meaning, if it's a negative review, they were not going to allow it to be published). I have been a loyal customer of O'Reilly's for many, many years and will probably continue to do so, but, I will definitely do my "due diligence" going forward, To make sure that I'm getting the value I deserve. This is not a review on my local O'Reilly's as they are very friendly and professional, it's a review on Corporate O'Reilly's and their unprofessional behavior in how they treat their customers. read more

I love this auto parts store! My husband does a lot of work on our vehicles and always sends me here (or Summit) for parts. He usually leaves me with a detailed part list but my last visit here he didn't. Upon entering the store, I was greeted by Mo, the manager. He immediately found the parts I needed (yes, O'Reilly's carries Land Rover parts now, yay) and got me out the door for under $200! He also told me that his store re-surfaces routers for $15, should I need that done. That would save me more than $50 per router! On top of that, the location didn't have the brake sensors I needed so he called another store and had that store deliver it to his store for me! I love this kind of service. I've had no complaints with them until now. Spent a lot of money there. Bought two universal joints today went home to install them. One good The other was missing snap rings and one whole end. Called them I might as well been talking to an idiot. Said they would replace with a cheaper one and I would get money back. I drove from piney flat's because I called before hand and this is the thanks I got for dealing with them. Went in for a simple exchange of a wiper blade, because I was originally given the wrong size after informing the associate it was to small (but I didn't have the vehicle with me to double check) so I went with his choice. Went in to pick up 2 stoke oil. The employee helping me check out kept laughing at me and telling me I didn't know what the oil was for. I can only guess it's because im a woman. He even said, "someone wrote down the name of this and told you to pick it up." I repeatedly told him I knew exactly what it was for and he just kept saying no you don't and laughing. I went to the OReilly Auto Part store yesterday after researching on the internet why my 2007 chevy Trailblazers headlights were not working. I printed out the solution and presented it to Mo the manage at OReillys. He immediately knew what part I needed(relay) and had it in stock. The price was $5.00 less than quoted online. when Mo discovered I was disabled he offered to put in the relay at no cost. He was so nice to me and my granddaughter.
