I had the guy at the counter test my battery and he came out and tested the battery in my car and…read moretold me my battery was bad and needed a new one, it is a 48 month battery and it has been roughly 4 years so I trusted this guy knew how to read a volt meter and went home pulled my battery out which is a little more involved then just undoing the connections and found a replacement at another parts store and took my battery in for a core charge but had them check it to verify it was bad, it tested good, they said it was weak but still good enough, so since I have gotten two different results I figured I would get a third opinion to be sure, the third place said it tested good no problems, so thanks to the incompetence if the counter guy here at O'Reillys I wasted over a hour of my time for absolutely nothing, there is no compensation for time, so I will never go to O'Reillys again and would never recommend this place to anyone, i would tell anyone that asks to go somewhere else simply because if they can't train there help to do something as simple as testing a battery how can you trust that they can find the right part or recommend any product, this place should be looked at by corporate.

I'm talking 800 dollars to replace a transmission filter because they think I'm really stupid. I was starting to get pretty discouraged, until I walk into O'Reillys. When back to O'Reilly's (stupid me) to get the battery. They wouldn't swap the battery for me so I asked if I could use s crescent wrench. Apparently a crescent wrench is to exotic for a store that loans out specialty tools. I had to go back to the RV park to get my tools and change out the battery and the take the old battery back to get my core charge refunded. I am not sure the understand the meaning of costumer service.
