The building still says Car Toys, the employees are still in Car Toys uniforms, but Foss Audio has taken over. Unfortunately, they refused to honor a $100 Car Toys gift card I purchased simply because it was bought more than 180 days ago. They told me that is the cutoff they are willing to honor for old Car Toys gift cards. That was disappointing, especially when I was ready to spend around $1600 on my current install and was planning to put another $1500 into a second vehicle here as well. To me, losing a loyal customer over a $100 gift card--especially one purchased from the same location with the same branding still on the building--just doesn't make sense. The manager I spoke with didn't seem too concerned about keeping future business, so I'll take that second vehicle elsewhere. Shops like Top Edge, Xtreme Unlimited, Traffik Jams, or Colorado Car Audio will be getting a look from me instead. The only reason I came back here was because I had good experiences in the past. With all of that said, I won't rate them lower because Treavor absolutely earned his recognition. He was outstanding from start to finish. Great communication, zero aggressive upselling, understood exactly what I wanted, and delivered a clean, professional install on the stereo and SiriusXM system. I do not know who did the tint, but they did an outstanding professional job as well. Treavors customer service is top tier and the work was spot-on. Treavor deserves a five star rating on his own, and Foss Audio/Car Toys is lucky to have someone of his caliber. Overall, this would have been a five star experience if management had honored the gift card and valued long-term business. Instead, it's a three star review--great work from Treavor, disappointing handling from management.

We were in need of a particular bulb for a particular older vehicle and a friend had recommended this chain of autocrat stores and this was the most convenient location for us. I am not sure if it the one the neighbor uses but that does not really matter, it was close this time. The manager was training wha appeared to be a brand new employee, step by step on how to use the computer listing, find it in the store etc, while also attending his other duties. It took quite a while to get the entire process finished, more than what we had expected to be a very quick stop. But in the end we left with the correct part, at a good price and even under these circumstances it saved us far more time than having had to take it to local place we often have used in the east event for simple procedures. It had been a while since we used the do it yourself method and still glad we didi. We would go back here again if we had a similar purchase to make and repair to do for ourselves. We appreciate that with a trained employee available it would have lived up to our expectations. But everyone has to learn at some point and these days, already trained new employees are few and far between waiting for employment.

I barely put 5,000 miles on my car per year as I work from home full time. My husband does tire rotations for me so we never had the need to bring my car back to Discount Tires. However, we noticed there was a staple in a tire as my pressure light was on. My husband brings my car in today and they refused to honor the warranty that we had purchased because there were no tire rotations on file and claimed our thread wear was too close to the limit. They refused to help us with the staple unless we purchased new tires. My husband who knows cars very well can tell the tires do not need to be replaced. If we had known that tire rotations were required to be at Discount Tires and had to be on file, we would have come in every few months for a rotation. However, that was NEVER disclosed to us when we had purchased the warranty. Mind you, my husband also used to work at Discount Tires years ago and he has never heard of tire rotations being required for them to honor warranty certificates. We will be taking our business elsewhere.

TL;DR Big O Tires Inexperienced mechanic falsely diagnosed…read moreissue requesting replacement of all 4 tires. Went to Discount tire who accurately found the issue and fixed for free. I first went to Big O Tires in Lakewood with one tire that was low, my sensor showed it to be front left. When examined by the tech, he appeared to take the tire pressure, then noticed a "nail" and attempted to see if air was leaking. The nail looked like just a piece of gravel. He was not confident with his diagnosis and thought my rim could've been cracked too but not sure. Said I needed to replace all four tires. I knew something wasn't right so I took my car to Discount Tire. Turns out the back left tire was the culprit, had a nail in it and my sensors for my left front/rear tires were swapped. They took me immediately, patched up the hole from the nail, and checked my other tires. All at no cost! I'd recommend the Discount tire in Arvada off of Wadsworth.

Today mine looks exactly the same as I dropped it off, the size of a quarter starburst on my passenger side. I took it to another lifelite the gentleman in there said "personally they could have done better". I called customer service talked to them they switched me over to the manager at the shop I took my vehicle to, she told me the guy who did my repair may have not gotten all the water out of the chip before he filled it, it's raining today, I asked why didn't you reschedule me to a dryer day? Or use a dryer? The manager didn't give me a clear answer. My only option at this point is to live with it or replace my windshield. I told her she turned a $100 job into an $800 dollar job and she is the reason our insurance prices keep going up. I called my insurance, liberty, I asked about taking it to a Toyota dealer and having them replace my windshield he told me if Toyota doesn't see it as a safety issue I'll have to pay for it. It was really helpful for me because they give me a heads up about replacements to be aware of in the next year and the costs before I have to scramble to pay for an urgent repair. Also, when they replaced 2 of my brakes, I still heard squealing so I brought the car back and it was actually the other ones they didn't replace but they helped me lube those up to be nice and quiet, no charge!
