Claim to fame: I met my CEO here. Yessir, I did. You heard me correctly. Never at my actual job, but at a cleaners in Northbrook. My luck, right? I was coming out of the fitting room, about to pay for my newly altered dress when I heard another customer say, "Well, that's a pretty color for a dress." That's when I turned to thank him and noticed that it was none other than my CEO. Like, whoa. I was semi-star struck, I admit. Silly? Probably. But, back to the alteration. Awesome job! It literally took the woman 5 minutes to perfectly fit the dress to my body. And, during the wedding , I had NO worries that the tube top would be falling down. Props to these FAB alteration masters! They charged me $50 (and that was for hemming and taking in the top!) Not bad, not bad! Best part - it was done in three days. For procrastinators like me, they are true livesavers! We dropped off 2 expensive down coats here, both came back damaged. The first, they ruined the hood shape, and the second they destroyed the zipper. I would never trust this cleaner with anything again. read more

They are dishonest and conveniently do not understand English when an agreement is made. Also brought in a dress to be hemmed 2 inches and the tailor (the wife) cut it off and made a tunic!!! They are the worst. So many other options in Northbrook Also very expensive. read more

Actually I want to give it 0 stars that being said I had a very unfortunate experience at this dry cleaners. I brought in some very expensive pillows that the owner assured me could be dry cleaned. I received them back in horrific condition. They had holes in the fabric, the fabric was discolored and it had stitching on one side of one pillow that had never been there before. I assume they tried to sew up an area where there were holes or tearing. The owner accused me of bringing them in that condition! I am a reasonable and fair person and would have expected a smart business owner to have taken responsibility and we could have dealt with it appropriately. I would give 0 stars if I could. I came here for the 1st time and they burned my pants. When I brought the damage to their attention (nicely and respectfully), they were incredibly rude and went back and forth between denying that there was any damage and claiming the damage they were denying existed was not caused by them. I brought the pants to another cleaner to see if there was anything that could be done and was told that they (O'Reilly) had burned my pants and this was not repairable. I would say 0 stars if possible! They changed the color of my sweater from off white to gray! The first time I picked it up it had black fuzzies as well. They denied it was ever off white (vanilla) ..out right argued, yelled, denied anything was wrong, that I did not know the color of my own sweater! Said he would go to the Gap and check....ha!! The second time the fuzzies were removed, but of course the color was the same... gray!! Horrible experience, horrible customer service, absolutely the most rude man, not the owner. I would never step into that store again. Have never complained on Yelp before, but I would like everyone to know there is absolutely no professionalism in this company!! read more

I live in the area and I'm a member at the yoga studio next door. I first came here and to have a few things dry cleaned for the convenience. They are a little pricey, but I find that they can handle really tough jobs, and have even removed some deep stains. read more
