So I am getting my car service and went here to pick up a drink and a bagel because I normally like their bagels. But the female in customers service this afternoon was sweeping the floor and decided to not wash her hands and give me a hard time getting an attitude when I asked her to wash her hands before getting the bagel. She responded that she was getting gloves, but never wash her hands-something like this blows my mind that is not common sense to wash your hands before getting gloves.. She stormed off, went to the back room not sure if she washed her hands or not so I decided not to get the bagel just poor customer service. You shouldn't have an attitude with the customer. Just want you to wash your hands after sweeping- but it's cool. I will not get anything from here. I miss she talks to her peer to justify her behavior. I'm not sure how this works, but do better with better customer service. They both go to the back room- perhaps this is the wrong job for you if you don't want to wash your hands

The croissant was perfectly flaky and buttery, the ingredients were fresh, and every bite was absolutely delicious. The quality, flavor, and attention to detail were outstanding. You can tell they truly care about what they serve. Please open a location near us in West Sacramento! My family and I would become regulars without a doubt. The baristia that helped me was overall nice but the coffee itself lack many things and I was very disappointed. I ordered the Shaken Espresso and asked for sugarfree vanilla with regular milk. They only have 1 size so you don't have much options to choose from. After trying it, I felt like I was just drinking a whole cup of milk, it didn't have ANY espresso/coffee taste in it at all. Note they only have 1 size so its like a large size coffee cup. I brought the coffee back and had asked them to remake it and the barista informed me that it only comes with 1 shot of espresso per drink thus thats why it taste so milky. 1 shot? What? I was so shocked, in such a big cup I would expect at least two shots since the total of it was over $7. Anyways I asked them to remake it with less milk and 5-6 minutes later, it honestly ended up just being worse than earlier... Now it just taste very watery, like a diluted espresso and I can't even drink it. She was nice and helpful but I was disappointed I couldn't enjoy the coffee like I wanted to. So I just tossed the whole cup away, what a waste.

I'll be honest, the Ethiopian I started with wasn't really showing how I expected. It felt a little muted and flat to me. But here's where it flipped, he actually checked back in, asked what I thought, and instead of brushing it off, he was like "yeah... you're right." That alone tells you a lot. He pivoted and brewed up a Mexican that absolutely slapped. Clean, expressive, way more dialed. From there we just geeked out for a bit talking single origins, roasting approaches, equipment, all of it. That level of awareness and willingness to adjust in real time is rare, and it's what makes a place worth coming back to. I'm really interested to see how he continues to shape the program here. This feels like a shop that's still evolving in a good way.

I was honestly so excited to go to this place. This coffee bar is actually quite hidden, as they are located right behind the Village General Store on Vernon. There's quite a bit of parking when the storefront is closed, so you wouldn't even expect a wait at all. They have such a spacious patio as well (if you want to sit down and have a good time chatting it up with your other friends), and such big space to wait if you don't want the patio. I got one of their oatmeal cookies as well as their Matcha lattes. What I didn't know was that their oatmeal cookies were gluten free, and they were sourced and made locally by artisans here in Roseville. They also used quite premium-grade matcha that made it taste really good with the whole milk they mixed in eventually. The ambiance and the hospitality was one of the best out there, and I can't wait to be back the next time I'm in Sacramento!

I'll go check it out though, because I door dashed a matcha and it was perfection. I got a strawberry almond milk matcha with an extra shot of matcha and it was delicious. 100% on the sweeter side (not obnoxiously sweet like boba, but they have a sweeter hand) so ask for less sweet if you like a more mild sweetness. The bag they delivered it in was so fancy - a closed branded drink carrier, and the matcha quality was high quality. The strawberry flavor was real, not artificial, and there were little strawberry chunks that I loved. I downed this drink happily! Edit: I came in person and they have a self service kiosk and someone to help if you call for it (such sweet staff). They indeed have no tables to work at - they have 2 seats and a bench to sit at while you wait! Matcha the second time was just as good as the first, oh lord. This time I got the marshmallow brûlée with torched marshmallow and I drank it in 5 minutes it was so Carmamel-y and rich. This time I got it less sweet and, because I have a sweet tooth, I would do regular. I actually don't die for marshmallows but I ate all 3 because they tasted like rich brûlée perfection.
