The bagel club with gourmet jalapeño cheese bagel and turkey.
Jaime C.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]We were in the neighborhood and needed a place for healthy breakfast outside seating since we had, Nani, my mini dachshund with me.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]When you walk in, you're greeted by a large display of bagels, similar to a donut shop.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Bagels w cheese are considered, gourmet and $.50 more. I picked the club with pepper jack cheese ok a jalapeño cheese bagel. The service was great and the food was brought out quick. Everything tasted amazing. If you're in the area for breakfast or brunch, I'd recommend stopping by to grab a bite.

Amazing! Ordered online, first time got 10% off. Super fresh everything and the owners are super welcoming. Cali club on a garlic bagel. One of the best I've ever had (I'm an east coast bagel snob). Found my new go to breakfast and lunch spot. My coworkers dig it too.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Such a cute spot.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I have been looking for a good bagel shop. I found mine... fresh bagels ; lots of variety to choose from. And delish cappuccino ! Friendly service and fast too! On a Sunday , came in on a whim; they keep you moving fast. Love it.

One of the best bagel spots around! Great customer service and food came out quick. I was pleasantly surprised by the abundance of toppings they provide on the sandwiches! Veggies were fresh and crisp and the bacon was crunchy just how I like it. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They have a cute indoor seating space as well.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Well worth the price $11.99 for the California Sandwich and it definitely filled me up!

California Club. Was my favorite sando! I would highly recommend it .

Let me start by saying.... bagels, sandwiches, and Vietnamese coffee!!!....Oh my!! It was my first time visiting this place and boy, it did not disappoint!! We ordered a California Club on fresh Dutch crunch bread, BSC special, bagel dog, and a blueberry bagel. We were greeted by the friendly staff right as we walked in. Staff was attentive and personable. They were also very patient as there were so many options to choose from. The BSC Special is loaded with chicken breast, avocado, with the works. Mayo, mustard, lettuce, pickles, onions, alfalfa sprouts, and pepperoncinis on freshly baked Dutch crunch bread. Wow! This sandwich was massive! Everything tasted fresh and it was so good! The California club sandwich was my favorite with turkey, cheddar cheese, and bacon. My sandwich also had mayo, mustard, lettuce, pickles, onions, alfalfa sprouts, and pepperoncinis on freshly baked Dutch crunch bread. That Dutch crunch bread tho... yum!!! PSA: Dutch crunch eating tip, make sure you turn your Dutch crunch sandwich upside down! Trust me! The Vietnamese coffee is by far my favorite!! I have had many excellent versions of Vietnamese coffee. Some of my favorites have been Vinhouse, Seven leaves, and Orbitz. However, we have a new champion. The Vietnamese coffee here was a perfect blend of rich roasted coffee and just the right combo of condensed milk! It was so good. Creamy with a punch! (Make you grow hair on your chest!) The dining area was very clean, and it was very spacious with a simple layout. You can tell that the owners take pride in the cleanliness of the cafe. If you are in the Rocklin area, you definitely need to try this hidden gem. Support your local family businesses. Cheers!

Back again for more! As always, the friendly folks here make you feel welcome. Their menu offers a wide variety of savory options. Their bagels were freshly baked and simply fantastic. They were lightly toasted, soft, and had the perfect balance of crunch. This time, we tried the Eggwich club sandwich, which featured ham on a sourdough bagel and bacon on an onion bagel. Both sandwiches were tasty! We also enjoyed our lattes. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place was spacious, well-lit, and clean with enough indoor and some outdoor seating if you decide to dine there.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Stopped in the Bagel Street Cafe for a weekend breakfast/brunch with my daughters. We were immediately greeted. There's menu signs on the wall and paper ones on the counter. I ordered a #4 Breakfast Bagel with Egg, Cheese & Ham with an Iced Vietnamese Coffee. My daughter ordered a Breakfast Bagel with Egg & Cheese with an Iced Thai. There was plenty of seating available. We had a seat and our food was brought to us shortly after. Everything was absolutely yummy...especially the Iced Vietnamese Coffee!!!

Good bagels, lots of cream cheese added to bagel. Egg wasn't the best on sandwich, was a bit rubbery.

Ask the Community - Bagel Street Cafe

Are the bagels baked on site ? Are they boiled before baking (true New York style)? What varieties are usually available?

I only know that they are baked on-site.

It is rather tiny on the inside with only three tables of two. So if you are wanting to sit and eat, you need to be a small party, or take your food with you to go. Thankfully there was plenty of room when we arrived for our party of three. Their decor is cute with plenty o goose to view, as well as their baked goods. Since it was our maiden voyage here we did ask the nice gal who was at the register for a couple of recommendations which we took. The hubster tried the Ham and Peach Grilled Cheese, the MIL did the Pick Two which included a half Rosemary Chicken Sandwich and the Strawberry Poppyseed salad, I also got the Pick Two and chose half Citrus Club Sandwich and the Street Corn Cesar salad. Everything was made fresh to order and was incredibly tasty! The hubster and I also shared a Cherry Limeade Summer Sipper which was divine. We decided we could not leave with out taking a few goodies with us for later. So we bought a Lemon Bar, a Blackberry Cheesecake Bar, and a Chocolate Sea Salt Shortbread. We don't venture to Rocklin on a regular basis, but when we do, it's nice to know where to go and to support a small business like this. Give them a try. You will be impressed too!

Clean storefront with plenty of tables and homey Americana decor. My initial visit I ordered from their "vintage" menu. I got Erik's B.L.A.S.T. with bacon, Arcadian lettuce, avocado, clover sprouts, Secret Goo and tomato on toasted sourdough. They accidentally forgot the clover sprouts on my order. I love sprouts, so I was a bit disappointed when I realized they were missing. However the sandwich was great so it didn't ruin the meal. I loved their special tuna sandwich, called the Ocean Avenue, which was a delicious concoction. Made with tuna salad, cucumbers, onions, tomatoes, clover sprouts, and sweet hot mustard on swirl rye bread. The ingredients were all fresh & tasty. Another winner I just consumed was the Ciao Down, made with the softest Dutch Crunch I've ever eaten. I appreciated having the roof of my mouth intact! The combination of ingredients (salami, turkey, Swiss, tomato, onions, clover sprouts, basil pesto) gave me salty, vinegary, sour, and savory, with just a mild spicy kick from the hot cherry peppers. Whatever you do, don't skip the carrot cake! It is the best carrot cake I've ever had. I actually wondered if they outsourced it, but it turns out it's a proprietary family recipe. Made with carrots, pineapples, cream cheese frosting, and walnuts. It tastes homemade and perfectly balanced.

His kitchen failed him We started with a gem caesar salad so heavy with anchovies we could not eat it. First bad sign Dinner took over an hour and half to arrive (second bad sign). My wife ordered a pesto pasta dish, and I ordered the evenings special: a New York strip. My wife's dish came lukewarm at best. The pasta got clumpy as it stuck together. I find it hard to believe this was fresh. When I ordered my steak, the server asked if medium rare was ok. Of course, I said "yes" (is there another way to order a steak). The streak came to the table WELL DONE (third bad sign). Who does that to a 28 day dry aged steak?? I could have a steak like this at Applebees. My server agreed and offered to take it back. In hindsight, I should have sent it back and walked, but it had been over an hour and half, and I was hungry. The restaurant did take $$ off the bill, so kudos, but I will never go there again and will tell as many people as I can to avoid the place
