I got a #4 which is a bagel, cheese and meat sandwich. First issue is that all the bagels are not the same price when purchasing a sandwich. There is a 50 cent up charge for "gourmet" bagels. The sandwich itself is lackluster. It's just bread, cheese and meat. No seasoning whatsoever, not even salt and pepper. For an $8.57 sandwich it would be nice to have seasoned meat and egg. read more

I'm from the east where bagels are boiled so it's been a struggle finding authentic bagels in California and these are steamed. I had the vegetarian on banana nut and forgot to ask it be toasted. I think the egg is pre mixed but they said they mix milk into them. The vegetables are fresh. The caramel macchiato is good though it should be hotter. No icky ingredients, simply bagel, egg, and provolone cheese. I also had their Vietnamese coffee which was sweetened to perfection and had the right amount of kick. The California club sandwich was my favorite with turkey, cheddar cheese, and bacon. I have had many excellent versions of Vietnamese coffee. Some of my favorites have been Vinhouse, Seven leaves, and Orbitz. However, we have a new champion. The Vietnamese coffee here was a perfect blend of rich roasted coffee and just the right combo of condensed milk! It was so good. Creamy with a punch! (Make you grow hair on your chest!) The dining area was very clean, and it was very spacious with a simple layout. You can tell that the owners take pride in the cleanliness of the cafe. I recently tried bagel street cafe via DoorDash (lazy weekend) and was pleasantly surprised by their bagel breakfast sandwiches. There are so many options to customize it to your preference, I got the jalapeño cheddar bagel, cheddar cheese and sausage and it was delicious and so filling it lasted me 2 breakfasts! My second half reheated beautifully in the toaster oven. I imagine it's even better fresh at the cafe, but if you're also having a lazy morning cannot go wrong with a delivered sandwich. Was not a huge fan of their Vietnamese coffee, it tasted slightly burnt? Maybe just bad batch. read more

The coffee is very weak. I tried two different dark roast Blends on a morning when my power went out and the gentleman couldn't tell me which one was French roast he just said read the label and they were not labeled French roast. They were labeled some sort of French rainforest or bougie name. It was somewhat inexpensive compared to Starbucks but the taste was definitely reflected in the price. Watery weak coffee that tasted like I just poured some cream into some brown water. The lady at the counter was very sweet and helpful.
