It's in a small plaza - at night there's plenty of parking When you go into your KTV room it's clean to say the least. You can tell that the room has seen many performances in there. The mic would keep turning it self off and you would have to click it to turn back on. The selection of music was nice, up to date and you have the option to play music from YouTube. Didn't have a chance to try their food or drinks since we ate before we came but prices look a bit high for certain items. Like a plate of oranges for almost $15?? I can go to Costco and buy a 5lb bag for $6! Rooms look nice (had the small room) just wished they had more stalls for bathrooms, literally only 2 private restrooms for men and females so there could be a line when you really need to go other than that it wasn't bad here!

I came back on a separate day to offer my patronage and support. Parking is plentiful. Interior has an old school look and feel to it. Quite nostalgic! Very clean and organized, but not super bright. Most house bowling balls were old, dirty, and chipped. I don't use a house ball since I have my own personal bowling ball. They may want to invest in some new balls... just saying. Their bowling games were $9.50 per game that Saturday night. I ended up not bowling. I would love to return to take advantage of their Early Bird Special at $4.75 per game which is a great deal from 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM on the weekend. League rate is $5.00 per game which is a steal, too (please note league must be hosted by Action Lanes to qualify). Bowling shoes are $5.00 per pair which isn't bad, but I have my own shoes so I don't need them. Please check out their other rates and promos online. When I was here, I had a wonderful conversation with Caleb. He was working behind the counter. Super friendly and nice young man. We rolled up early a few minutes before doors opened to get some good seats near the front and support my gurl Aleesa Calaguas!! The SoCal crew came through including bae and company. Name on the list after grabbing tickets via eventbrite a month or so ago and we got to fill out slips to be entered in their giveaway raffle at the end of the night. Our host started us off with some great light humor, fellow vegan #ISeeYou and Aleesa was the first opening act and she was so on point. Had us chuckling right away. All the acts were great including the headliner, comedian, writer, actress Aparna Nancherla/ Astronaut City has a great layout, it's small but also spacious with a capacity of 49 or so. They have a great bar seat up with lots of options including cocktails, cider, beer, wine, soft drinks, water (including sparkling), celsius and a variety of small meals and snacks in their unique vending machine (including themed as well as brands Astronaut City items). Highly recommend coming early and getting a good sense of the layout as it can get a little congested with a full house and sold out show, like this. Gender neutral restrooms and free Wi-Fi for the extra win. Not to mention they have other great events and nights like karaoke and open mic each week. The karaoke happening in the background might be too loud to have a conversation. And there are always singers even there are only 3-4 tables in the place. The waitresses are still older ladies in their early to late 40's and are obviously there for male clientele although there were more female clientele this time around. A couple of changes from last time: They renovated so the seats are more comfortable. Beers have been increased to $4.50 a beer and they bring by a bucket of beer. You pay for what you take from the bucket. The bad part is that they have waitresses just come by and open beers and just leave them on the table. Let's say you have 3 people, the waitress will come by, open a 4th bottle, pour herself a small shot, cheers everyone, and leave. Even after you said you are looking to sober up to drive, they'll keep opening beers at your table and charge you for it, which is a really shady practice. And it's not like we didn't order a lot of food so I don't know why they are trying to hustle $4.50 beers. They also automatically charge a 15% tip when you check out. Which is fine but their service leaves something to be desired. Especially the hit and run beer hustle they have going on.

I could say that she was the best hostess in LA. I visited chef Hat last month and it was terrible, Rose is no longer there and some older ladies instead. They just wanted me to keep ordering food and drinks and tip them. I can see that some customers were talking drugs and gone crazy. I don't think I would go back there again.
