Took forever to get seated, forever to get food, forever to get drinks and when the pizza finally came it was undercooked: fine. The roof top terrace is beautiful! Parking is lacking but you can utilize the local car garage and it isn't too bad of a walk! Drinks are so good, I recommend the lavender lemonade, beer was is not as abundant on the roof top but more so on main floor. The ciders are usually so good. Absolutely love this place! Great location. Great views from the rooftop and great food! Service can be hit or miss. But it's worth the visit. Our favorite is the pizza and the craft cocktails. I also love that I can be added to the waitlist via Yelp. Helps reduce the wait since there are no reservations. Walk the marina if you have time to kill. The rooftop bar is a must. I Visited Bradenton around New Years Weekend , I have eaten at Oak and Stone in the past and was very pleased so we decided to try it again being from out of town it was a good place for us .. Well Needless to say the night of 12/30/31 was a huge mess at the restaurant , they were in the weeds so busy with in house orders to go orders it was terrible ... I asked to speak with a manager it was so bad , we were greeted by Nate whom by the way was running his butt off to get food out to people .. He Apologized briefly explained the problem and then ask us what he could do to make it right for a future visit .... Thank you NATE for stepping up to the plate when your restaurant was really really busy ... I would visit Oak and Stone again just not during covid and not during a holiday .. Our host from upstairs on the deck (Lily I think her name is) was so kind and helpful to my family and I. She welcomed us with a kind smile. what a nice way to start a meal. Killer place. I'm a beer lover and this place has a beer wall that you can serve your self. Cool idea I hadn't seen before. About 40 beers and it charged by the ounce so you can sample things. It's a little pricey, with the 25% happy hour discount the beers I had were $7 and $9. Worth it for the novelty. I had a pizza as well and it was amazing. Got a basic "all the way" and it was great. 5 star view!!!! This place is such a fun place to come just for the view and the beer obviously. I'm a HUGE Oak & Stone girl. This one has the best view by far and the roof top is def worth the wait. Service is always eh and you poor your own beer which is fun and somehow I always end up spending way to much! Food wise the wings are a must. They are delicious. I also love the burger here. Came for happy hour with a few coworkers. After waiting at the rooftop bar for 20 minutes without being acknowledged, we finally managed to speak to a bar tender. He said he would be right with us. We waited another 20 minutes while he proceeded to serve and chat with the customer seated directly next to us. We went downstairs and were served immediately. Oak and stone seriously has the worst service out of any restaurant or bar on the face of the earth. I used to think it was just certain employees, but nope, it doesn't matter if they get all new staff, they are still the worst. You can sit there forever and no one ever takes your order or even acknowledges you are there. Management really needs to restructure their business model. read more

This place was talked about for months before I moved down here from Illinois. I was truly disappointed after getting down here and interacting with the business first hand. I underwent an interview process where I was told I would be contacted with availability in a few days, I was then not contacted for a week. So I reached out to the business myself and was brushed off and ignored by the manager, who would not even give me the courtesy of speaking on the phone with me themselves. I am truly disappointed, I had high hopes of working with this company but now I will be taking my skills somewhere where they will be appreciated and where they are deserve. A business who claims to be overworked is not doing much to solve that problem. read more

Today, I was delighted to find a pizza that can hold its own against the best NY/NJ pizza! Perfectly crisp, thin-crust pepperoni pizza will bring me back to Oak and Stone again very soon. It would have gotten 5 stars, but the "automated" customer billing process/procedure still has a few wrinkles to work out since they have only been open for less than 2 weeks. The self-serve craft and commercial beer taps offered our group of Retired Old Men Eating Out (ROMEOs) a perfect opportunity to create our own versions of sampling (aka, flights). Our group of 8 all felt that lunch was above average in freshness and flavor. Hopefully, the roof deck will soon be open allowing for some great vantage points for watching the Manatee River traffic. If this says anything at all about this place - We came here on Monday night and returned immediately Tuesday night with friends. The food is absolutely delicious in every way.. if you only get one thing off the menu make sure it is the Philly cheesesteak egg rolls they are perfectly crispy on the outside, and the meat inside is tender and juicy.. literal perfection. They have the beer wall which is the most genius idea ever, and let's patrons select the beer they want as well as the amount. The service behind the bar was outstanding - I believe her name was Kay, she was great and offered wonderful conversation and suggestions. The second night we came we had a server who seemed like she didn't know why she was doing/where she was going, but we were just enjoying the beverages and food too much to care. Yay!! they are now open. Party of 2 , we were seated upon arrival 7:45pm Sat. Plenty of viewing options for the sports fan no matter where you sit. The menu left me struggling to choose with so many options that made my mouth water . I asked our waitress Breanna her top 3 favs in apps & entrees. Her recommendation of the white pizza was spot on. As well as her service during our stay. The use of the beer wall was great. It allowed me to taste the different ciders and go back to fill up on my favorite without the expense or waste of a bottle, can or annoying the bartender. Can't wait for the rooftop to open next.
