Sweet find off of Main Street tucked in the back down a little path. We had a couple pints & a nice chat with the bartender about So.Ca. breweries. Cute spot with a good amount of seating both inside & out.Sat outside on their pleasant patio. We would have liked to have eaten but weren't in the mood for hot dogs which was their menu offering.

What a great little hidden gem! We were originally going to visit the large beer garden down the street but it honestly smelled horrible and was so chaotic with kids running around that we kept it moving - but we're glad we did! This small brewery tucked away off of Main Street is just what we were looking for. Friendly service, good beer, a variety of food, and plenty of different seating areas inside and outside to be as private (or not) as you need. They also had games to keep your party busy. Fair prices, nice atmosphere, friendly people and good beer / food. I would definitely visit next time we're exploring downtown!

Very tasty beer at surprisingly reasonable prices. Tried a pint of Riley Red and can recommend. Bartender Jon is very helpful and friendly, and the patio is fun and relaxed. Pop in, you won't be disappointed!

It was a cool place for sure we had a blast. We loved the out door games and seating area.

The inside of the brewery is very nice and unpretentious with a lot of seating, and they also have a large outdoor patio with tons of Adirondack chairs and a few picnic tables. The beer was very good. We tried a couple IPAs, a coconut porter, a barleywine, and a maibock. The barleywine was on nitro which was surprising, but it was actually really lovely. Definitely stop in for a few beers and a laid back vibe!

For me, that added a little bit of fun and charm to Barnstable Brewing. That is, as long as you also remember to put out good beer, which they do (I certainly wouldn't want "Wicked Bland" beer). I enjoyed my Porter - oops, excuse me, PORTAH - but I if were ordering a flight or at least a second pour, it would have been that coffee blonde ale, unique and distinctive. The brewery is also dog friendly with food trucks outside. Seating is at the bar, high tables, and an area with sofas in the corner. Over the past few years, there's been a growing number of breweries on the Cape. This is one you should consider.

They DID have one porter that was only served at the lower bar, which was closed. Really? 8 IPAs upstairs and you choose to put the porter downstairs? Whatever. No ambers, no reds. No N/A sodas or other drinks except Treehouse products which included a few seltzers. Food is set up in out buildings off the patio. Pizza was by the slice only and is really good if you like New Haven style. My wife thought it tasted like Tombstone so to each their own on that. They also had lobstah rolls available with their "treehouse style" butter dip that had a spicy flavor. No other food except bags of kettle chips. Outdoor seating is great if the weather cooperates. Canopies provide some shade. Plenty of seating indoors especially when the patio gets full. Overall we found the location and setting to be stellar, the food to be limited, and the beer variety anemic. Still worth a stop if in the area. Parking is very limited but they have a remote lot with a shuttle bus.

A few years ago, someone offered to buy my parking space for $500. (I declined.) There's often live music. (Check local publications or their website for up-to-date schedules.) There are often a number of food trucks present. On our recent visit, we had oysters from Hang Ten (enormous, meaty and sweet, but shucked with a ton of shell shards); tacos, guac and nachos from Millie's; and pizza from Eat Fire Pizza. And of course we had a number of decent beers on tap from Cisco Brewers. They seem to tend towards lightness, minimal hoppiness: good summer brews for warm weather. It's family friendly -- including canine members. Our pup is a seasoned New Yorker and accustomed to crowds, but even she seemed a little frazzled by the press of people at times.

We got there fairly early but the first band had already started, and the area under the tent was already full. We got some drinks, checked out the space and eventually we were able to snag some chairs under the tent. The outside beer area had alcohol drinks as well. 2 of us had tequila drinks, and 2 tried the beers. We were all really happy with our choices. All of the food there came from food trucks, and there were a lot of random vendors, which made it a fun, unique experience! All of our food and drinks were great. I also bought a few hats- the hat selection was really good from the band and the brewery. They also had a shop along with the other vendors who were set up. We stayed longer than expected- the first band (Grateful Dead cover band) was amazing, so we stayed to check out the second band (who were really good also). We eventually gave up our seats under the tent to some very happy people! We will definitely go back to the Cisco brewery the next time we're in Nantucket- it was a great experience all around! Everyone we encountered- whether they worked there, or weee there for fun were very nice and friendly. There was a dance area in front of the stage and people definitely used it - so there was great people watching in a super fun setting!
