Here are some of the ways this business takes advantage of it customers 1. Bait and switch, Show you one Item and when you get home you discover it isn't what you paid for. 2. Sales personal lack of knowledge of the products there selling. 3. Purchased a vipe carthage in a sealed pack, paid for it opened it in front of the sells person and explained to him this isn't what I asked for. But because I open it. The sells person stood there and stated well I can check to see it there is anything I could do. Here is what it all boils down to, You don't get what you pay for. and this has happen to many times. I was thrilled to find that Oakanna had my favorite strain of shatter on their menu because it's been very hard to find recently. At 8:55am today I placed an order for 4 grams despite the fact that it cost $105.06 after taxes compared to $64 after taxes at One Plant in Antioch. It is now 1:11pm and I've not received confirmation that it's ready. I did get a call around noon that I missed. No message was left. I called the number twice and left a message both times. I even texted to see what the status of my order was. I haven't heard anything back. This was my first and last experience with this dispensary. I expect much better customer service especially if the prices are higher here for the same item than they are elsewhere. read more

I just had a very unpleasant conversation with the manager of Oakanna. I was sold the wrong tincture, four bottles, for $240. I tried to exchange them for the right products, and was told that it was "a law" that no pot products could be returned. I know that isn't true, so I called another wonderful pot establishment, OHana, who told me that they would gladly exchange any products that I had bought there. When I called Oakanna back, and told him that "the law" was simply bull, he quickly backpedaled and said "it's our personal law." (?!?!?!) And refused to let me return it. so folks, don't shop here. They sell defective low quality 510 batteries. I brought one back to return it and they said they could only exchange. Because I had already bought a battery elsewhere I wanted the return. They made a business decision to stand by their exchange only policy even though I couldn't rely on them to provide a battery from a quality brand . They were my go to dispensary since August 22. My partner was given the wrong products at the cost of $240. When I went back to the store to exchange the unused/unopened products, I was told by one of the salespeople who looked me directly in my eyes and told me that the law prohibited them from making any exchanges or refunds. Doubting him, I decided to call a dispensary in Emeryville and was informed that there is no such law that prohibits dispensaries from exchanging or issuing refunds. I then decided to call Okannna and speak with a manager. When I first called the representative who answered the phone informed me that they had just gotten really busy and that he would have the owner call me before 9 pm. By 9 pm I had not received a call from Oakanna. I called back and spoke to a representative who insisted that my partner had indeed received the product she had requested. When I asked him about the story that I had been told earlier about the law being the reason they wouldn't honor an exchange I was informed that the law was a "personal law". Does he mean store policy perhaps??? He was extremely rude, interrupted me several times and was NOT behaving like a manager. I am calling Better Business Bureau next. read more

Hello I have been shopping her for over 6 months and i have to say i have seen a decline in the customer service,the menu selections and feel that i am not valued or very welcomed as a woman. I have seen numerous times the different welcoming treatment that men have received but when i am helped it's different. I went in today after placing my order online and i never received confirmation (which has happened numerous times before). When i arrived i was told that one of the items i ordered was not in stock which i was disappointed about because this is like the third time i have ordered something that they show is available online only to be told when i get there ( after driving from berkeley) that is not available and that the menu online is off. This has been happening ongoing for over a month I feel as a business they should update their menu regularly to reflect what is available. When i spoke to budtender about the lack of accuracy of the menu he proceeded to tell me its not his fault and made alot of excuses and gave me negative energy instead of displaying Good customer service and hearing or having compassion to what i was saying as a customer, he was rude .
