I've ordered delivery from here through Uber Eats multiple times, and I have to say it's the best açaí in Astoria. My go-to used to be Fitrition, but they've disappointed me with wrong orders, old fruit, etc. I wish I had tried Oakberry açaí sooner. The açaí is high quality--just like the ones I've had in Hawaii--and the fruit is always clean and fresh. I also love how many topping options they offer. I have gotten good acai here before and decided to try after a long time - today it was not acceptable. 90 degrees inside the shop, the açaí was too warm and soupy fast, blueberries tasted off . I hope this is temporary, I felt really bad for your worker and it's not safe to have food out all day in that temperature. Please fix your AC and let your workers have the door open when it's 90 degrees inside (72 degrees outside at the time) Will update review when it's done. read more

This Oakberry outpost in Astoria is a recent addition to the neighborhood. Although the store is small, the tall ceilings and white walls give the space an open, airy feel. While the Oakberry storefront is only a block away from the 30th Av (N) train station, I have noticed that a majority of people tend to order Oakberry through delivery apps. There's usually one person manning the counter and register, so a small short wait may be necessary before you order. The açaí bowls come in a cup, which I personally am not a huge fan of. I prefer the bowls for a wider opening, but I will concede that the cup shape helps create layers better if you enjoy eating your açaí bowls like a parfait. I ordered the Crunchy Bowl ($14.95) which was delicious, except for the icy bits of chia pudding that froze. PS- Chia seed pudding is made with coconut milk! We stopped by for the grand opening where the first 200 people got a free acai bowl. The staff was super friendly, organized, and cranked out orders in a timely manner. The toppings on both the Original and Crunchy Bowls were nicely layered and I liked the contrast from the crunchy to the nutty to the creamy toppings. Honestly, the only thing I didn't like was the acai itself. It was a bit too sweet and artificial tasting to me, a bit tart with an underlying earthy taste. Of course these were free to us on this particular day but for ~$12 per "bowl", it does seem like a bit steep compared to other acai spots. This Brazilian chain specializing in acai bowls and smoothies has finally made their way into Quuens. Oakberry Acai's newest location opened up in Astoria this past weekend in the space formerly occupied by Every Table. Along with the usual bowls and smoothies, this location also sells healthy snacks (protein balls, granola), sorbet, and healthy drinks (kombucha, wellness shots, cold pressed juices). I got their Build Your Own Acai "Bowl" (this is a misnomer as all of their acai and smoothies are served in cups). The "bowls" come in three sizes: Classic (12 oz), Works (16 oz) and The Oak (24 oz). I ordered the Works with Granola, Bananas, Strawberries, Peanuts, Almonds and Almond Butter. The acai was refreshing, slightly sweet and slightly tangy, with perfectly ripe fruits and crunchy granola and nuts. I especially liked how they layered the acai, granola and toppings in the cup. In other places, the acai is placed at the bottom and the toppings are all on top. At Oakberry's, they layer it in a way so that you get a bit of everything with each bite. Overall, I really enjoyed the acai "bowl". I just wished it wasn't so expensive. With tax and a 15% tip, my total came to $20.60, making this one of the more expensive acai bowls I've gotten in a while. I probably won't be coming here too often (it would kill my wallet) but when I need a healthy treat and am willing to splurge, I know exactly where to go to. read more

Ate and brought here today during my lunch break as a substitute paraprofessional at P.S. 234 Q. I finally got to eat and tried the crunchy acai bowls added with almond butter 'cause yesterday the machine was broken wanted to try place out for the first time so badly lol and it's working. Yay! Overall, it had tasted really good and delicious that I was also impressed with the pleasant, patient, fast, understanding and friendly service. The ambiance was super quiet and chill. Yesterday this new location had an event where the first 200 people in line received a free acai bowl (size small). We had 3 choices: crunchy, original, or passionfruit. I went with the crunchy bowl. The crunchy had acai, blueberries, strawberries, granola, cocoa nibs, and chia pudding. I wasn't sure if I would be a fan of the chia pudding, but I liked it! It was a good balance of sweet and tart. I especially loved the coco nibs. The staff were all friendly and moved things along very quickly. They also gave out free oakbars for this event. I did not like the banana oakbar, but the peanut butter one was okay. Overall I had a great experience with this event, but their "bowls" (served in cups) seem a bit pricey for their size, in my opinion. I will definitely be back to try their other flavours and smoothies etc., but (imo) there are other places in the neighbourhood that have great acai bowls with bigger portions & more toppings for less money. read more

Okay, I have never in my life had an açaí bowl, nor craved one. But I was passing by after physical therapy today and thought sure, that kind of sounds good let me take a look. I got the premade crunchy açaí bowl (açaí, chia pudding, crunchy granola, cocoa nibs, strawberry, and blueberry with added passionfruit). At first I was skeptical and then I was mad, because honestly $17 is crazy for something like this. Unfortunately, Oakberry Açaí had the last laugh because that bowl SLAPPED. Honestly one of the most delicious things I've put in my mouth lately. Generous portion of everything, refreshing, and just truly delicious. I'm blown away. A good place to get smoothies, juices , acai bowls and other healthy stuff but it ain't cheap . Located in white plains near a bunch of other shops and I figure likes get a smoothie instead of the usual take out . Don't get me wrong the extra large fruit smoothie was good but the prices are higher then plenty of Manhattan spots I have visited . It was $18 for a smoothie with a scoop of protein which was way too expensive for what it was. It was a regular sized cup and the flavor was definitely not that good to be paying $18. read more

I love their bottles juices! So fresh and revitalizing. Service is always nice and quick and the place is a nice spot to hang for a minute.

The açaí was good but way too overpriced compared to other spots in the neighborhood.
