This place is new and super yummy. The kabob burger is literally the best burger in town!! The workers' are always so nice and helpful. The only reason I'm giving a 4 star is they never seem to have their act together when I've done pick up twice (have to ask my my drinks, etc.) and by the time I get home my fries are limp due to condensation from the travel container. read more

Great service and our food was fantastic. There was a bit of a wait for our food but we're given a complimentary soup while we waited which was a nice touch. The food is great! But when we went in the items we wanted to order they no longer made but it was on their paper menu. That was disappointing. Especially because I wanted to order a personal size cheese pizza for my son just to be told they no longer made those. And they don't have kids meals so I had to order a pizza to share with him and not get what I originally wanted to get. Please just update your menus to have what you make so we don't get bummed at the register! read more

So we ordered our meal to go and we waited and waited..... and people who came after us were getting their orders after us. The waitress came out and took our order tag.... we expected she would bring our order back nope. So wife needed to get going so I went in... wings were ready... no sign of our pizza... so I asked what was going on... as I was walking into the inside I saw an employee in the kitchen eating while sitting on a food prep counter where food was.... kinda gross if you ask me..... no one in the kitchen was wearing masks. Turns out our pizza was dropped and they had to remake it.... would of been nice for a heads up. Pizza had too much sauce... crust was crispy on the outside.... very soggy on the inside. Wings were ok.... but they forgot our ranch for the wings. Yes I know it's new and they need to get the bugs out! Only positive thing I can say the staff was friendly. read more

There's something for everyone on the menu from kabob to pizza to wings to gyros to burgers. The soup and salad is worthy of the trip all by themselves. Clean dining area and restrooms, ample staff (which is rare these day) who continue to check in on you throughout your dining experience (also rare these days, unfortunately). Four of us(2 couples) went there yesterday for lunch at the recommendation of a friend of ours and we are glad we did. The pizza's were very tasty and well done as were the wraps. The drinks were good and the beer and mixed drinks were very reasonable. The hospitality of the owner and the other people there made the experience that much better - very warm and welcoming. Didn't offer a refund or anything, just offered to go back pick it up?! Seriously!! Such a naissance and inconvenience. You aren't making aircrafts in there, should be an easy to revise the damn orders before you give them to customers. Not too hard really, and should offer refund for missing items specially that you confirmed that you gave it to the wrong person! Such a dumb person handling phone calls! We live in Oakley for 20+ years, always wanted to support local businesses. This is our 2nd time eating at Oakley Tavern. The 1st time we ate there was on a Sunday, we ordered 1) Combination Chicken and Beef Kabob with a side salad $15.99 2) Medium Tavern Specialty Pizza $17.99+$3.99 extra for Cauliflower crust. 3) Brick-oven lemon pepper wings $13.99. The Kabobs were tasty, a little on the dry side, otherwise good, salad was fresh. The Tavern Specialty pizza also tasted good, however, the toppings were a little skimpy. For a $22 medium pizza, we were disappointed at the amount of toppings for the price. The wings were great and had just the right amount of spice. Service was good, so we decided to give it another try. Today, we ordered two medium Specialty Pizza (All Meat and Americano), both pizzas were tasty, but again the Americano especially was very skimpy on the chicken. Both pizzas were $22 each (cauliflowercrusts), but luckily we had a 50% off coupon for the 2nd pizza. We also decided to order an additional 12 pcs Brick Oven wings, which again were great, but we didn't get this order until 50+ min later. Had we known it would have taken this long to get an order, I would not have placed this order. I tried to follow-up on the order after 30 minutes, they said they are sorry, however, it took an additional 20+ minutes to finally get our order. The young guy who delivered to our table was apologetic (we felt bad for him), but we thought we should have just asked for a refund instead of waiting another 20 minutes. We understand that it takes time to get good food, but almost an hour for wings is just not acceptable in our opinion. Thus, the 3 stars rating. read more
