Omg what a gem this restaurant is. We sat outside as it was a lovely Saturday evening. This is our second time here and the service is amazing. We had a young lady who checked on us several times despite being busy. The cocktails are well made and the food is delicious. Great service, but the execution completely missed the mark. Won't be back. The service here was actually really good--the staff was attentive and friendly. Unfortunately, the bar and the kitchen just didn't deliver. My Gin & Tonic was a hazard; it was so completely overloaded with peppercorns that I felt like I was chewing my drink and had to spit them out after every sip. For food, the corn elote lacked balance, and the scallops--which arrived swimming in a soup instead of a puree--tasted noticeably off. The chicken parm was entirely forgettable. With these kinds of texture and flavor issues, there's just no attention to detail in the kitchen. Even with great service, we won't be returning. read more

The hubby and I came here to celebrate our anniversary. It was our 2nd time here and it's nice to have a go to date spot in the area. Love that their menu is constantly changing as they outsource all their ingredients from local vendors in the area. So it's nice they offer different selections each time. Although, I would love to have their ribeye entree available all the time. This time around, we order the Stracciatella Cheese for starters and my husband ordered the fresh catch of the day which was scallops over risotto and I ordered the hanger steak. I also ordered the Margarita Fuego cocktail and that was so refreshing. I personally loved the stracciatella cheese. It had sugar snap peas, strawberries, basil, pickled ginger, balsamic, evoo with toasted bread. You think the ingredients would be weird together but it really blended well and tasted so good. I enjoyed a nice dinner with friends here. This is my 4th time here, so this review is a culmination of all 4 visits. First lets talk about the service. This place is often busy, so shout out to the servers for making sure service flows smoothly in what can seem like a chaotic space, especially on a busy Friday night. The atmosphere in the restaurant is lively. LIKE, EXTREMELY LOUD lively. Unless you've reserved the private room, prepare for a yelling match if your with a group. Definitely had to drop off a star for this reason. The outdoor seating as the weather changes will help with this I presume. The food is always good, but I've yet to have something GREAT here. The burger is tasty, but I've had better for less $. Chicken Parm was good, but lacked seasoning, My friend said the roast was good, scallops got a 3.5 out of 5 from another friend. Dri ks were pretty good and strong so that's always a plus. All in all I'd give this place 3.5 stars if I could. Our server was attentive, and explained the background of the ingredients used to prepare the meals on the menu. The ambiance is elegant. There is an open bar that serves cocktails and specialty drinks. The menu changes often, depending on the season and food sourced. The food served is quality, local sourced according to our server. Overall, we enjoyed our experience at Attraversiamo. We all felt that the food we ordered was very good, but a little pricy for what you get. The average cost for meat selections is $35+. That being said, I would recommend giving Attraversiamo a visit for special occasions like birthdays or anniversaries. Casual dining would be costly for most. read more

Brentwood treasure! We tried out this Italian restaurant located in a plaza in Brentwood for a quick early dinner! Since we're not too familiar with this restaurant, we just decided to try out 3 dishes we all shared. Corn pasta, bone marrow and Buratta! And we scored! Never had a corn pasta ever but it worked and it was delicious. It was tasty and unique mixed of pasta with corn. But will definitely try it again! The appetizers we ordered were delicious as well, bone marrow and Buratta melted cheese. It was so good we needed more bread! We made a reservation for a Saturday at 6:30pm and were seated right on time, so I'd definitely recommend booking ahead if you're planning to go during peak hours. Service was a highlight of the night. Our server was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu and specials without being overbearing. The drink menu offers a solid variety, and I went with the Attra Mule which is their take on a classic Moscow Mule. It was refreshing, well-balanced, and a great start to the meal. The food menu isn't overly large, which I actually appreciated, because it felt more focused. There were still plenty of appealing options. We kicked things off with the tater tots for our group of four, and it was more than enough to share. They were crispy, flavorful, and honestly a bit nostalgic in the best way. Saw this place on social media and wanted to give a try. It's a cute little spot on the corner in the streets of Brentwood. The drinks were really good! I ordered the Oaxaca on sunshine and my lady ordered the Prickly pear margarita. Delicious. For the appetizer we tried the aqua chile with strawberries. Wasn't sure about the strawberries but our server Antonio recommended it and he was not wrong. He also recommended our entree's and it was also on point. The hanger steak had ALOT of flavor and we subbed the potato au gratin for asparagus. The arugula that came with the dish had lemon on it and it couldn't have been tastier. I opted for the chicken gemelli due to Antonio's personal suggestion and that also was delicious. All the ingredients made it flavorful as I'm not a pasta person but I would order this again. We are moving out of Brentwood and in celebration of the move, we decided to have our last dinner at Attraversiamo . Fitting ! As our first meal in Brentwood and after that all celebratory meals were always at this place. In fact we were here so often that most of the wait staff knew us by sight and name and also our likes. This place, for us, is like the Cheers bar of that serial, a place where we felt comfortable.and happy! It is an institution and though the owners also have the Vine+Grain and the Yard in Brentwood, we always leaned towards Attra! I cannot write enough about the food served here, it has always been fresh , farm to table and prepared exquisitely ! Everything from the smoked cocktails to their Ribeye ! And their Truffle fries are to die for!! The wait staff - Antonio, Devon and Jenna and Alex at the bar always made us feel welcome as old friends and took real care of us . 2nd time at this restaurant and it did not dissapoint. Food was great during our first visit so we decided to go again as we heard that the menu items typically rotate ever season which is awesome. A great way to try new things from a restaurant that utilizes local ingredients. This time we decided to go with the ahi tuna crudo as our appetizer and the fresh catch (scallops/risotto at the time) and the crab mafaldine as our entrees. Ahi tuna was a great opener as it was fresh and light. It is a tad spicy though so keep that in mind when ordering. The scallops/risotto was beautiful to look at and it had a play of flavors that my wife was not used to. Still great and delicious but it took a bit for her to understand the flavor profile. The crab mafaldine was good but thought it was a bit light on the crab meat. Also wish there was a bit more smoked trout roe and lemon to help brighten the dish a little more but overall still tasty. We would definitely go back a 3rd time to see what the restaurant cooks up in their next season. Service was also attentive which was expected from the nice ambience. Good on them for actually knowing their menu items really well to a point where they can actually give suggestions based on what you are looking for. I'm having a hard time leaving a bad review because we frequent this restaurant often, just like The Yard, and we've always had great experiences here--until today. I sat at the bar, ordered a couple of drinks, and placed two pasta orders to go. I was told it would take a little while, which was completely fine. About 20 minutes passed, and the tables around me that had arrived after I did started receiving their food--including the same dishes I had ordered. Still nothing for me. After 30 minutes, even more guests who arrived later were served while I continued to wait. In total, it took about 45 minutes to receive my food. What was most disappointing wasn't even the wait--it was the complete lack of acknowledgment. No apology, no update, no effort to make up for the delay. A simple "sorry for the wait" would have gone a long way. I spent over $110 and waited nearly an hour for a to-go order. As someone who has spent a lot of money at this restaurant over the years, it was frustrating and disappointing. Hopefully this was just an off day, but based on this experience, I'd think twice before ordering food to go again. read more

If I could give this place a 20 star I would. This place has become one of to go to spot for date nights! Ambiance is a whole vibe, you can either dress up or dress casual. Food is AMAZING! I have been living in Brentwood for almost five years, and I've always wanted to try this restaurant, but I never had the opportunity to do so. Now that I am preparing to move, I finally visited the restaurant last night, and I am so glad that I did. First, let me say that their food is truly farm-to-table, utilizing fresh ingredients from local Brentwood farms. Everything is made in-house, including their pasta, which is prepared fresh daily. Second, our waiter was exceptional. He was kind, attentive, personable, and demonstrated excellent customer service throughout our dining experience. Third, the ambiance is lovely. It's an intimate and well-designed space, and I hope that one day they are able to expand to accommodate more guests. Lastly, the food was outstanding. I ordered the mushroom fussili pasta (I may be spelling it incorrectly), which is a pasta dish with mushrooms and no meat. It was rich in flavor absolutely delicious. I enjoyed it at the restaurant, took the rest home, and continued enjoying it later. We also ordered the fries (Frites) with Parmesan as an appetizer, which were excellent. Dinner, last night, was delicious! The four of us had different dishes that were outstanding. We also shared truffled tater tots that they make. I will probably order that my next visits. We also noticed a table of 4 who were seated way before us receive their food about 30 minutes after we received our main course. Appetizers Spring Ricotta (to share): Delicious! Definitely recommend. Ricotta & the cherry compote = match made in heaven. No issues there. Truffle Fries (to share): I love shoestring fries! Crisp was great. Couldn't taste the truffle but we didn't mind. Main Course Chicken Gemelli (my order): Pasta was cooked al dente - which I love. Definitely order this if you're a spice lover. I thought the chilis were very overpowering and didn't enjoy it. I'll definitely order the Chicken Parmigiana next time. Scampi Verde (mom's order): My mom loved this dish. She had no issues. Pasta was al dente & the sauce was light. Matched well with the shrimp and mussels. She finished the whole plate (which is fairly rare for her). Pasta Al Limone (my sister's order): The sauce tasted very watered down. Instead of a bright lemon-y taste, it was dull and almost bitter. The ingredients of the dish did not feel cohesive. Drinks Berry Delight - mocktail style (my drink): There was a lot of mint in my drink. It was okay, though unsure what I was expecting. First, they dont have high chair, or at least we were not offered one (maybe they did not have any so we did not make a fuss about it and did not care to ask as well) They came in strong with the drinks and starters. We were initially impressed UNTIL we were asked for the entrees and it took more than 30 minutes to arrive. We patiently waited, Jay our server was nice but not as attentive as the waiters at the other tables. At that point we started to feel like we were just ready to leave. With great consideration and patience, food came in after couple of follow ups. Hangersteak which was very chewy and fresh catch (scallops) which was super salty. Absolutely baffling experience. This restaurant recently started dinner service, and when we arrived, there were only three tables occupied. Despite having plenty of open seating, they refused to accept walk-ins. It's hard to understand the logic behind turning away paying customers when your dining room is nearly empty. Restaurants spend thousands trying to get people through the door, and this one chose to send potential customers elsewhere. If this is how they plan to handle dinner service, they're creating a frustrating experience before guests even get a chance to try the food. Wanted a nice dinner and haven't been back to Attra for sometime. Food was flavorful and the drinks were good. The best thing of the night was the cheesecake with fresh cherry compote. What I like about this place is they use seasonal ingredients and change their menu accordingly. All of their seasonal ingredients come from local farms. Our service was great and attentive. Only thing was my pork chop came out a little too pink for me so, I asked to have it cooked a little more. I hate to be one of those people but the staff accommodated and were nice about it. This was a cute little restaurant tucked in the Streets of Brentwood. We've come to this area a number of times and never even noticed it. The concept is cute. It was explained that most of the dishes are curated around what the local farmers have to provide. Love a farm to table. But with that said the hostess explained that the menu changes quite often with the exception of a few staples. Fiancé and I had date night and enjoyed ourselves. I can't remember exactly what drink I had but it was ok, and same with my fiancé. I believe he had the fuego margarita (again not sure but it had chunks of peppers in it) it was ok As an appetizer we ordered the burrata on naan, which was pretty tasty For dinner I had the duck confit in gemelli pasta. I had never had duck before so this probably wasn't the best way to experience duck. It wasn't bad just a little bland. My fiancé had the grilled pork chop with pureed squash and it was exceptional. (Pork chops are never really my first pick) I would go back and have this multiple times over.
