Avoid this place is criminal. Called to schedule an appointment for an estimate on some minor damages on my car and they tell me it's going to be $100 for a written estimate saying this is standard industry practice to charge upfront for an estimate and will take it off when service is performed (it's clearly not). When I try to explain how there practice is wrong I'm shopping around and have 2 other auto repair shops in area giving me a free estimate it's normal to get a few quotes and take the best one I've never seen an auto body shop asking for money upfront on an estimate prior to service being performed the lady over the phone started going off and raising her voice. Completely unprofessional I'll gladly take my business elsewhere and write a bad review discouraging others from going through the same ordeal. I can't imagine what sort of service and quality they give on repairs with the representative they have taking appointments over the phone: I'd expect the same as there host poor quality of work and service and then trying to scam you every penny along the way read more

I had my 2011 honda crv in for repairs after getting rear ended and the whole experience was awesome from beginning to end. Very quick on getting the quote together and Jay ordered parts ahead of time so I could get the car back before I went to school. Communicated well with all the steps along the way. Worst experience ever, terrible terrible shop! I would think twice before bringing your vehicle here. I brought in my van and was given an estimate to repair it. I scheduled a time and brought it in. Not only was it not done on time but was done improperly. I had to bring it back but only after numerous phone calls and had to personally go there to meet with Jay. I brought it back and the repair was still not corrected. Jay tried to explain that it was not his fault and began to literally yell at me and told me never to come back. He did say that he would refund part of the cost and but after numerous months and numerous phone calls he still has not refunded any of the original cost. My husband and I both used this shop to repair our Toyotas. I had scratches on the hood of my car repainted. Lo and behold, they are totally visible again. I don't know what kind of paint they used, but clearly the paint or process was inadequate. My husband had the drivers side door repaired and the original damage is again visible. Both of us were impressed with the staff and work originally (although my husband did have a weird issue with his credit card.) I would recommend new customers wait a while before posting their reviews, to see if the work holds up. read more

I would highly recommend this auto shop if you need ANY repairs done. They came highly recommended by my co-worker. My rear light went out on my way to work and I needed a quick fix. When I called, Jay was so friendly and flexible and made time for me to come in right away! When I arrived (the garage door is in the back) they were ready for me and I never even had to get out of my car. He checked all my lights and it turned out that it was the little break light that's inside the car- noy sure if it has a special name. He popped open the little hood, took oit the bulb, and had a new one put in all within 5 minutes! He did not even charge me for this repair. I was super stressed when I saw my break light warning light on, but Jay was amazing. He fixed it so quickly and was so kind too. I will definitely be back for any repairs I may need in the future, and I will recommend them to anyone who needs a fix! read more

Very pleased with the service I received from this body shop. I'm very picky and detail oriented, and they did an exceptional job with repairing my car after getting into my accident. They even cleaned my interior along with a finishing wax on the outer parts of my car. The right side of my car was damaged along with a tire issue. Jay made sure to get me a new tire right away when I pointed out the gashes on my tire from the accident. Very good customer service. They cut major corners on body repair. My car was rear-ended and needed a repaired quarter panel. Instead of welding it on, these guys bondo'd it terribly. Years later, I was rear-ended again and needed more work on the quarter panel. But because of the bondo, the quarter panel must be entirely replaced instead of repaired, and the insurance company will only pay for the cost of the repair- so now it will cost me over a grand! read more

This place is very unprofessional. The general manager refused to print out an estimate for me to bring to the person who hit me. Also the prices were ridiculously high. Poor customer service. Worst place ever!!!!!!...My 2012 car took a hard rear hit while parked a couple months ago.  When the tow company came we had some confusion on the body shop name they were towing it to oakton body I wanted it to go to B & L and being woke up at 5am to inform you your car is on the sidewalk. When I realized the mistake I tried to get S.F. to pick up my car and take it to B & L but I got several convincing phone calls to leave the car at oakton because they were also a State Farm certified body shop so I agreed.  They were late with their work and everything looked horrible. The paint was off and not blended and there were scratches over the finished paint.  A few minutes into my drive I realized my radio wasn't working fine something minor took it back they fixed it after waiting 8 hours!!!!.  A few days later I realized my heat or ac weren't working had to take it back again making me late for work.  When I dropped it off I asked Jay to ask the mechanic to just do a general test on things so I wont have to come back he gave me an attitude but it was fine I understood some people just have bad days.  Drove my car for two days then had someone flag me down to tell me my break lights aren't working. So here we go again taking it back for the 3rd time! I plan on calling State Farm and asking how they are certified because while all these things are minor I still feel I shouldn't have to continue to waste my time bringing it back it again and again! Shouldn't these things be checked and confirmed working before you tell the customer the car is ready?  Hopefully this will be my last time taking it back in and for the future if I should be stuck in the this situation again I won't be taking my car to oakton body shop read more

I am so happy to finally find an auto mechanic shop which I trust. Also the customer service was outstanding. I came in to see about a grinding/squeaking sound in my front wheels. I was all prepared to need to have the brakes repaired. I waited in the lobby area and had a pleasant conversation with his wife/co-owner. I was expecting terrible news. When he told me that there was absolutely nothing wrong with my brakes and that they were in very good condition I could hardly believe it. I was so relieved. He told me that though he ran a business to make money that he didn't want to be untruthful. (i paraphrase) He then explained why they were squeaking. It made perfect sense. So, instead I had my aircondition looked at. He came in and once again explained what was going on. He quoted me a very fair price. I waited a bit longer and my car was cooling beautifully. So happy to find them. I will be back for sure. read more
