Ham and cheddar breakfast sandwich on a Plain Bagel.
Jessica N.

I received better customer service here than a five star restaurant! Absolutely outstanding! We ordered two breakfast sandwiches on bagels and a cold brew coffee. We waited for our food at a table outside and when it was delivered, the staff noticed the meat and cheese was transposed onto the opposite bagel choices and was going to bring them back. We were fine reassembling them ourselves and appreciated the offer. I added sugar free vanilla syrup to my cold brew and it was great. The prices were in the high end, but it was WELL worth it due to the high quality ingredients and epic customer service.

I originally rated this place with 5 stars. We came back here for breakfast and coffee. I ordered a cappuccino and a latte with coffee grounds was served. I took it back to the young girl dressed in pajamas to remake it. The second cappuccino came out and it was NOT EVEN a latte....no foam and Luke warm, it took about 15min too and no one was in there. I opted for a cold brew because it seems like you havnt trained your employees on how to make various coffee drinks. If you're going to offer lattes/cappuccinos/frappes... teach your staff the difference between them. NO ONE SHOULD PAY FOR A 4-5$ coffee if you don't know what you're doing. Make it worth the money and I don't mind paying 6$ for a coffee. Train your staff on coffee drinks PLEASE or don't serve it

Everything bagel toasted with cream cheese.

Fresh egg cooked made to order. Bagels are soft but chewy and the toppings are on the lighter side but still very flavorful. Jalepeno cream cheese has good flavor, seems like a plain cream cheese with chopped pickled (jarred Jalepeno) which creates a vinegar bite. Bagels are thicker and smaller but have good air pockets. Simple menu and plenty of inside and outside seating. Offers military discount so deserves a visit if you're in the area!! Service was quick but expect a minute if you order with an egg as it's made fresh.

My friends and I have been Enroute patrons for several years now, so I'm surprised this is my first…read moretime reviewing them on here! It's fitting though, because during our most recent visit we tried their food offerings for the first time. Usually we go for their coffees - we're especially fans of their monthly rotating themed drinks. The themes usually tie into the current holiday, season, or weather. It's a fun concept that we haven't found at other local coffee shops. Ever since they started serving food, we've been wanting to try it, just haven't found the time. Well we finally found the time, and it was so worth it! Three of us shared the Birds & Bees sandwich and the Turkey Avo panini. Both came served with a pile of skinny fries. Excellent! My boyfriend is a ranch snob and had very high praise for their homemade ranch. The service is always quick and friendly. Honestly never had a bad experience at Enroute. Happy to have them as our local coffee shop. We'll be continued customers for a long time to come!

It has Chorizo, eggs, bacon cheese, hash browns and more. it was very good and filling. I also usually have their lunch bagel sandwiches, which are my favorites. I always order the Ham and Swiss with lettuce, tomato and onion. I also usually order the turkey and cheddar. My wife loves them! This restaurant is very spacious and welcoming. The staff has always been friendly and always says "have a great day" as we left. Not bad. Oh yeah, they have a great assortment of bagels as well.

I'm sorry I really don't write reviews unless I really had a bad experience. I went in at 6:45 in…read morethe morning and left at 7:20 for five mixed dozen bagels. Mind you these are Baker dozen so you get 13 and two Schmear's Peier carton so that would be five of them that I'm going to get. She rang me up for one and asked me if I would like to add Schmear which again to come with it I asked her if this was something new with the cream cheese doesn't come with it or did you just not realize what I asked and she laughed and said oh I forgot sorry then I look at the register and it says 20 something dollars and I repeated myself I need a total of five Baker dozens please and she said OK my apologies I didn't hear you OK no problem pick and choose whatever you want. Just fill them up and I'll pick out the cream cheese. Just slice them for me throw them in the box and I'll go. She said OK. There was one person that was waiting on me at the register. There was nine people there, including a manager, and I don't know if she's a supervisor or what she was but she was somebody big there everyone's talking about the restaurant across the street, not being open and having this girl do everything by herself while I'm sitting there waiting people are coming in and out grabbing their orders, leaving ordering a dozen leaving and I'm sitting there just waiting and waiting and waiting for mixed orders where they don't have to wait for me to pick and choose what I want just fill the box that's all I asked cut them fill them and let me go. I sat there and watched nine people look around while one girl is being talked to about the closed restaurant across the way and getting distracted while I'm just sitting there waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting mind you, I understand they don't know. I have a meeting, but that's not there information to need to know. Just fill the box and let me go. That's all they had to do. I was patient finally at the end. I got really impatient and called them out. I said can you guys stop talking to her and help her and all of a sudden the manager comes out and starts getting an attitude with me about how she's new now this is the manager explaining to me that she's new and I should have patience. I have no idea how that's my problem that a manager is not managing her employees she's in the back one person's upfront waiting to get his order and there's nine people back there laughing talking joking discussing things that don't have anything to do with work and I'm just sitting there so I spent $$115.76 and didn't get to take them to my meeting cause I missed my meeting by the time I got there we had to actually sit down and have the meeting. I was trying to get there before then so they can enjoy their bagels and talk and then we sit down and discuss like a meeting supposed to be so I wasted $116 because store management and don't know if it's district management whoever she was we're just sitting there doing nothing while all the employees have the free time and free space to do whatever they want while someone's waiting for their food. I don't know if I'm over speaking about but this was the biggest disappointment coming from Einstein bagels major corporation to allow their managers to allow their employees to do nothing. Their manager should've been a manager and taken care of what was supposed to be done, but instead she was sitting in the back doing nothing, then gets an attitude with me for getting upset that I'm waiting for cut bagels not dressed not sandwiches just cut bagels in a box. That's all I was asking for good luck. Let's see what the management rep replies anybody want bagels I have five dozen you can have

There was a steady flow of customers, but not over crowded. Not too bad for a Super Bowl Sunday mid morning get together. I selected the Everything Smoked Salmon sandwich with a side of home fries. The presentation was colorful and inviting. Anytime you can see flavors, you know you're in for a fulfilling treat. I was asked if I would like the bread toasted and of course I affirmed that I did. It was a nice crunch in contrast to a heaping serving of beefy tomato and salmon. The home fries were a nice side dish choice and were cooked and seasoned perfectly. The tangy blackberry orange lemonade is always a top choice for beverage. All served in good time with a smile. Outdoor seating was plentiful for a great day like today when the weather is perfect.

We've spent a lot here over the years and have always supported and recommended this location. That's why my son's recent experience was so disappointing. He stopped in to get some work done, something he's done many times during slow hours. Sometimes he buys something, sometimes he doesn't, and it has never been an issue. This has always been a welcoming place. This time, a staff member told him he couldn't sit and work unless he purchased something. What made it worse was the explanation: a table of eight older gentlemen "didn't like" that he was sitting there working, and that was the reason he needed to leave or buy something. It wasn't busy, it wasn't about space, and it wasn't about a policy. It was simply another group of customers not liking his presence, and the staff acting on that. After years of loyalty, that was incredibly disappointing. If there's a new policy, that's fine, just communicate it clearly and apply it consistently. Asking a long‑time customer to leave because another table "didn't like" them is not acceptable. This experience genuinely made us rethink continuing to support this location.

Let me preface this review by saying that I am reviewing the experience as much, if not more, than…read morethe food and drinks. My wife and I absolutely love New Penny. We actually followed the owners here after frequenting their previous coffee shop, En Route. When they opened New Penny, supporting them was an easy decision. The café is thoughtfully divided into two distinct spaces: a family-friendly dining area and a lounge-style bar area geared more toward adults. The atmosphere is warm, cozy, and inviting. There are house-made dishes, local merchandise, a shaded patio, and plenty of charm throughout. My wife's favorites are the Breakfast Totchos and the Acai Bowl. Personally, I am also a loyal Breakfast Totchos fan. As for drinks, the Copper Coin and the legendary Cowboy Latte are both worth ordering. What truly sets New Penny apart, however, is the people. The owners and staff have created a space that feels inclusive, welcoming, and genuinely connected to the community. Support local businesses. Better yet, support local businesses that are doing things the right way. Get to know the owners. Get to know the staff. Places like New Penny don't just serve food and coffee--they create gathering places. Whether you're meeting a friend, taking a business meeting, enjoying a date, or simply looking for a quiet place to sit by yourself, New Penny delivers. One of my favorite local businesses, and one that my family will continue to support.
