My father passed and I'm the youngest or four and was left to figure it out alone but as I called almost every (high star yelp) I can't pay $2800 for just a cremation nothing else..I was referred to Oasis (not a high star yelp) let's just say Im convinced these ladies are angels they worked with me on price,helped me with paperwork.They're so compassionate, friendly and totally wonderful. They were fine until the death certificate. I made a mistake by one digit filling out the Social Security Number. I didn't find out until I get the certificates in the mail. They wouldn't help me fix it. This has been a huge drag - I live in Chicago and my cousin died in Tucson. She has no family there. I'm going through a huge rigamarole with the Pima County Department of Vital Records trying to clear this up. I also had to ask a few times to get an online obituary - still don't have it. DO NOT USE OASIS CREMATION SERVICES I will never forget the tragic way my husband was treated after his death awaiting cremation. took WEEKS for it to be completed. some weird lady was supposed to be working on it and she never returned phone calls for weeks. I find out she was fired. then I get a song and dance about it and more weeks go by. unbelievable. awful. sad. I hear the owners do ALL THE CREMATIONS in Tucson. very bad. I tried to file a complaint with the public office in Tucson that takes this sort of complaint and wrote a mail, no response. I don't trust this service in any way. read more

Yelping a funeral home now are you??? I know it sounds a little strange for me to do a review on a funeral home; Call me crazy or call me good, but life happens and so does the passing of life (unfortunately); and I found these people to be very caring. As some of you may know I lost my loved one in January to something completely different than Covid, but loss as you know (or could imagine) is never easy! A few of you may even remember meeting her at a few of the yelp events as she was often my guest. Either way, oasis made the transition smooth. They communicated well and even communicate it over the email and telephone. I could fill out most of the paperwork online so I didn't have to make but one visit which was to pick up the cremanes. And again, as you can imagine, especially considering she was still in her 50s, this was not an easy task. But I went inside and the three girls that were working there were so incredibly nice, that I ended up staying about 30 minutes just sharing & exchanging incidents with them of how I have felt her presence (and seen her) daily. Each one of the girls had their own experience with a grandparent or a parent and we all enjoyed sharing dreams and occurrences where we knew our loved one was with us. To be quite honest I walked in there so disheartened and left with a very light spirit happy that they were the ones who handled things. They were just down home real honest people with heartfelt attitudes. read more

PRO: They are about the least expensive (not cheap). Con: Very disorganized. Even the manager did not know what was going on. Slow to do the cremation and even slower to provide the death certificates. I had to call multiple times to check when everything was ready for pick up. read more

WORST experience EVER!!! Oasis Cremation & Funeral Care is so uncompassionate, callous and cold; obviously just there for the money. There is something to the old adage -You get what you pay for. The prices were cheap and so was the customer service. It was inexcusably awful. Under new ownership, most positive reviews are prior to that. And this I know because our family had been here before and the experience was NOTHING like this one. We were able to have a small celebration of life and viewing for the immediate family before the cremation. Now, the display of a podium altar and chairs set up as pews are for show. They legally have to display that to operate as the business they claim to be. It had been just a couple of days short of a month and we had no idea where our mother's cremains were and had absolutely no communication or clarification on when we could expect to receive her cremains or even a death certificate so we can take care of things. Leave a message, no response. When they do respond they have no idea and will need to get back to me. Still waiting.... AND that's not even the worst. When we met with Marcelle to make the arrangements we took clothes for our mother and this was the response we got. "Oh, we don't do that. I mean, we could but it would cost you a couple hundred dollars. We'll cremate her as she comes, if she comes in a hospital gown, we will cremate her in that, if she comes wrapped in a sheet we will cremate her in that." A simple that won't be necessary would have sufficed. For crying out loud, they could've just taken the clothes and thrown them in a donation bin or the trash for all we knew. Insert funeral director humor. It may take 2-3 weeks, we're backed up but they're all waiting patiently. And then, when we chose the urn..."Oh, that one's expensive" in a very judgmental tone. I bit my tongue threw all of this because that's what my mother would've done and would've wanted me to do. But then time goes by...about 2 weeks. I call them, no cremains and no idea where the certs are. I'll have to call you back......crickets...... Roni is so rude when you call, like you are seriously inconveniencing her. Actually read her a draft of this review over the phone to her out of complete frustration, her response was that it was my prerogative if that's what I wanted to post. Never once could someone just say I'm so sorry, I'm going to put you on hold and see what I can find out. So, when we were finally able to pick up mom. Sat in the lobby waiting for almost an hour before I was told dad had to give authorization for me to pick her up. We were shorted one death certificate and the urn is on backorder. All of which could've, should've but wasn't relayed on the phone call earlier that morning. It was not until I spoke with Julie from Foundation Partners that I finally felt like someone was compassionate and cared. But by then Mom was already picked up. Julie at the very least will help to try and get the urn expedited and ensure the additional certificate is ordered so we can put an end to the nightmare of dealing with these people. read more

Not recommended. I was told to come in to talk to someone about getting a death certificate and to be there before 4pm. I was there at 3pm. Other family came in and they were served before me. I told the guy, Darrell, helping me that I didn't appreciate him serving them before me as I had been waiting over an hour and they just got here. He tells me that he apologized when he came into the room. He also said he didn't know I had been waiting that long and said that he thought we were all together yet when he brought me in the back he had put us in different rooms so he knew we weren't together. The receptionist had also gone back to let him know twice when I was waiting. So he knew I had been waiting. I left so upset over how I was treated and no real apology. Very inconsiderate and rude especially through this difficult time. I called this morning to talk to the manager and it was Darrell. He didn't care to listen to my reason why I left upset. He just spoke over me the entire call. His only excuse this morning was he served my family and it obviously didn't matter who got there first. He knew that this other family and I don't get along, hence the reason for putting us in separate rooms without my asking in the first place. read more
