Breakfast specials

I've been coming to this diner for years and the food is always pretty on point. Service is decently fast and the price is reflect the service and the quality. Prices are about average if not essentially above average in terms of cost but yet again you get what you pay for. Portions are large and served fresh. The coffee here is very good. They used to serve mini muffins, which I think they still do. The solarium can get very hot if you are in bright daytime sunshine. The designer itself is fairly large in terms of footprint, but there aren't that many tables for some reason. Street parking is difficult at best. This place is worth checking out if you are in the area.

I was craving breakfast and I wanted a great deal and a variety of items. I scoured Uber Eats and Oasis popped up. What a deal I found. They have something called the waffle deluxe for 15.99. It came. With a huge waffle, bacon, eggs, sausage and ham. I prefer beef sausage over pork and the obliged, plus didnt charge me extra for it. Everything came still warm and the eggs were fried perfectly over easy, as requested. My mom sister and me, ate from this order. I took half a waffle, with the sausage, my sister took the other half with the bacon and my mom took the eggs with the ham and had some toast from the house. If you have a big appetite this could be 2 meals for one person.or split between 2 people and both be full. They also have chicken and waffles for $19.95. You get breast, leg and thigh and a huge waffle. Some of my favorite places for chicken and waffles only give one or two pieces of chicken and a waffle for more money or the same price. So that's a good deal. Since most restaurants charge more on uber than they do in store it could possibly be cheaper dining in. I will definitely visit in person soon.

Had the fortunate time of celebrating thanksgiving at Oasis with friends. Ordinarily this place is a nice restaurant to get your typical diner fare. Have had their food before and the service is always great but of course on Thanksgiving day, they came short with the service and lack of dessert varieties. Not their fault. As Martha Stewart mentioned have your thanksgiving meal at 2pm. It was not packed but you could tell that they have been serving turkey all day. Overall their turkey dinner is good moist and the stuffing tasted good. As we walked in the stuffing was being cooked so it came hot on our table. Wished they had save some of their popular coconut custard pie. Still enjoyed ourselves and will return here on a regular day.

I intended to take my grandfather to breakfast and the original place I found on google was closed so naturally I turned to Yelp to find another place nearby and this did not disappoint. I didn't know what to expect but the service was speedy and great. Atmosphere was laid back and cool. Food was pretty good. That French toast was actually pretty amazing. Very simple . No fuss but the bread was perfect . I would absolutely come back and reccomend to others.

Western Burger Deluxe Waffle Fries Onion Rings bacon, grilled onions & jalapeños, BBQ sauce. So good.!

Do they serve burgers or is it only breakfast menu?

Traditional diner menu, with burgers for lunch and dinner. I believe that the breakfast menu is available all day.

You will get a text when the table is ready with 10 min to get there. It is a very small diner, with a cool vibe. You're there for the food, nothing fancy. The staff were very kind, and quick with our requests. We came for the pancakes, and they were absolutely worth the hype. Hands down the BEST pancakes we've ever had in life. 1 plate comes with 2 pancakes and are enough to share. But not too much if you're only getting pancakes for a solo serving, you'll be able to finish. We shared the pancakes and also got a breakfast sandwich.

After running a couple of errands while waiting for the table to be ready, we were seated outside at the patio after an hour and 45 minutes. We ordered the famous honey butter pancakes, the korean wings, and the breakfast sandwich with hash brown, scrambled eggs, and sausage. The honey butter pancakes were pretty good but kinda drenched in the butter that made it hard to finish. The korean wings were also alright but the batter to me was kinda thick and heavy and lacked crispiness. The best item we ordered was the breakfast sandwich with hashbrown, scrambled eggs, and sausage. I think the eggs are cooked with cheese, and as someone who typically does not eat cheese, I didn't mind it. I don't know if I'll be back again - I think the concept of an asian twist on the classic diner does sound intriguing but difficult to execute. I also wasn't a big fan of the wait time. If you typically like heavier, diner food then this spot might be the place for you!

We were staying in the neighborhood and trying to find a spot within walking distance for dinner…read more After wandering around for awhile, we landed on Jey Diner after walking past. This spot has a handful of tables and while we were there, quite a few to-go orders were picked up as well. Though we were the only diners, so I assume it's more of a breakfast/brunch spot. The menu is rather expansive with options from breakfast to lunch and dinner. After studying the menu, we opted for the Veggie Burger and the Meatball Parm Po'Boy. Our food was ready in about 20 minutes, which seemed a little long as we were the only diners, but we were not in a rush so it was fine. As the restaurant was unassuming, I honestly had pretty low expectations, but we both really enjoyed our meals. It was definitely large portions and really flavorful. My fiance said the Meatball Parm Po'Boy was delicious and I appreciated that the veggie burger seemed to be made in house as it was falling apart (in a good way) and you could distinguish some of the veggies. I ended up only eating about half of my burger and took the rest for lunch the next day and it held up well.

But if you're looking for some excellent, straight forward, wonderfully crafted simplicity, this is in your wheelhouse. A quesadilla is a quesadilla, a hamburger a hamburger. Sounds boring? Not when your hamburger and quesadilla are amongst the best you've ever had at any diner, anywhere. Our waitress was very nice and allowed us to dine, unbothered. We ordered a fresh fruit platter for dessert. It included watermelon, mango, grapes, apples, strawberries, etc. very nice, well presented. The dining area certainly belies what happens in that kitchen behind the door. I'll be back to try some more simple, but excellent food.

The mix of a thousand island type sauce with ketchup made this burger a 10/10. The sesame bun gives the burger a great softness with all the other textures. + the fries gave me the feeling of an elevated mcdonald's fry! caesar salad was perfect. Lots of lettuce, not overly anchovy and just the croutons were soft and crisp at the same time? very much enjoyed how big of a portions all of these items were. chicken parm sauce was tangy and had good flavoring with the perfect melted cheese on top of the soft but crisp edges of the chicken. i'd highly recc all three items we got! service was quick once we got seated and was nice to be outside in the warm weather.

While they have all the traditional breakfast fare, I was so happy to see it also had a Caribbean twist to it. I couldn't help myself--I had to order rice and beans with pernil (pork shoulder) and a side of sweet plantains. Of course, I wanted some actual breakfast items, so we got the French toast loaded with fruit. We also got both the tres and quatro golpes, which is a traditional Dominican breakfast. Lastly, we got a Caribbean omelet. My rice and pernil was solid. The rice could've used a tad bit more seasoning but when mixed with the side of beans and plantains plus a drizzle of hot sauce it was perfect. They had a variety of sauces--Tabasco (my fave), a Jamaican one that was super spicy, and a mild homemade one. The tres/quatro golpes was also a hearty choice with mangu (mashed plantain), sausage, fried cheese, and eggs. The pickled red onion balanced everything out. The fried cheese is similar to a halloumi but I think it's a bit more flavorful. All the flavors just melt together in your mouth perfectly. The French toast and omelet were good. I'd say the Caribbean items stole the show though. The place has a typical diner vibe and is on the small side. Food was served quickly and service was good. Discount if you pay in cash. I will be coming back to try their Cuban!!

The vibe is that of a Mexican American diner, and the clientele are all clearly Brooklyn heights locals - some of which have clearly been coming here for decades. It is clearly a IYKYK spot. The menu is huge - pretty much anything you can want from a diner is on it, including a full bar. Also, the service is incredibly helpful and friendly. Even if you don't see something on the menu you can likely order it (within reason). On our first visit, we ordered the carbonara and we were hooked. How can this little spot we skipped over so many times give us such great food? Have we been missing out this whole time? From this first visit, we've ended up coming in many times during all times of day whether that was a late night dinner or hungover breakfast, Grand Canyon just hits the spot. It is not your fanciest meal, but it is comfort personified. While the carbonara is what made me fall in love with Grand Canyon (perfectly creamy and non-skimping on the crunchy bits of bacon), I've also yet to find a pulled pork sandwich as good as the one Grand Canyon puts together. I haven't left disappointed and hope this gem stays in the neighborhood forever. Long live Grand Canyon

Apparently there is more than one location in Manhattan. The inside reminded me of a classic diner. Comfy and with a pretty cool vibe. We all slid into a booth and looked over the seasonal offerings along with their standard menu. I was lured by the chicken Kyiv based on the picture of having two rolled up chicken cutlets stuffed with dill and other yumminess, but was a bit disappointment when it arrived with a single small cutlet on my plate with two heaping mounds of potatoes mash and broccoli. I instantly had regret when I should have gotten the borscht soup with pierogies, but wanted to try something I wouldn't usually. I should've stuck to what was safe. My work mom got the stuffed cabbage and that was a clear homerun- really loved the mushroom gravy that it came with. My other colleague got the potato pancake and wasn't too thrilled with it, while my boss got the two Swedish meatballs that he described to be Ikea worthy. Although this was my first time here, I can't say that anyone really loved the food nor would come out of their way to come back. I really was hoping this would have wow-ed me in some way, but I guess I'll stick to what's familiar.
